Very yummy fish & chips served with the best tasting tarter sauce & crinkled cut fries....
I Had The Jalepeno/Avocado Burger. It Was Very Good, But The Patty Could Have Been Thicker!!!! The Big D Burger Was Da Bomb!!
It was good for what it was. Food took a while to cook but because of that was fresh. We will go back again next time we are in town
Been going there for at least 30 years that I can recall. Took the kids when they were young, and they still go there. Great Burgers & Great Shakes. I like to keep it simple and stick to the original. Definite winner!
Omg..the pink roof as we called it as kids...my grandparents used to take us there all the time..the best fried chicken and burgers...
This is the real deal! Forget Mac Donald ' s! Forget Burger King! Big D ' s jas real ingredients. No getting sick! :-)
The burgers, are the best in napa try.
It's a great place to eat
Old school, great food!
We got the Big D Burger, crinkle fries & chocolate shake. Everything was excellent. All the staff are really nice too!
We will be back!
ntering, unsure of what to expect. However, taking the plunge turned out to be one of the best decisions of our trip to Napa.
I ordered the Hawaiian burger along with a side of twisty fries, and I must say, it was an absolute delight. The flavors melded together in a symphony of taste that left me craving for more. The pineapple on the burger brought a tropical twist that was unexpected but incredibly satisfying.
What pleasantly surprised us even more was the reasonable pricing. Quality often comes at a premium, but at Big D’s, you get top-notch taste without breaking the bank. This, in itself, makes it a gem in the world of burger joints.
If you’re in the area and debating whether to give Big D’s a chance, I wholeheartedly recommend it. The unassuming exterior hides a treasure trove of flavors that will undoubtedly leave you coming back for more. Don’t let the looks deceive you; Big D’s Burgers is a hidden culinary gem waiting to be discovered.
Pricey hamburgers 🍔 tasty though. For those prices a small fries scoop should be included imho. Clean restaurant. Easy to get too on the corner of Silverado Trail and plenty of parking.
A local mom and pop Burger joint that has been around for many years in hapa. Delicious food at a reasonable price, Smalltown atmosphere And friendly staff. I highly recommend the tacos and the Hawaiian Burger
I’ve been driving by for years and never made the time to stop. I’m glad that I did today. Crispy crinkle cut fries and a luscious cheeseburger hit the spot. Will definitely make time to come again.
The young staff are professional and efficient. I was greeted warmly. Not a long wait time and I love the shrimp tacos.
Very nice young lady with a beautiful, friendly smile. The employees were very attentive on Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at 4:30 pm
Good burgers, Fries and Soda. Go after 4pm and get a cheaper meal. They are usually pretty consistent tasting food but when a dark haired guy with a goatee cooks its 10/10 everytime some other coworker must not out any love in their craft like him!!!
I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with crinkle fries. It was delicious and reasonably priced. Staff was excellent as well. I'll be back!
Great napa locals restaurant. It's not far from downtown but is a little hidden. You can get anything from a great burger to fish and chips. There is a "specials menu" located inside and I happened to try the Chori-Queso burger which was featured during my visit. This needs to be an item on their menu! The burger itself has a beef patty and a chorizo patty with guacamole, cheese and jalapenos. Not spicy at all, the perfect combination. I highly recommend the twister fries as well.
Great food the restaurant is a little old and worn but great food and service
This is a small, very casual place where you order casual food like tacos and hamburgers, drinks, and the like at a counter, pay when you order, and then wait for it to be prepared. You can wait inside or outside for your order to be prepared. Sometimes they answer the phone, and you can order ahead. It's definitely not fancy, but there is quite a bit of parking available. There are a couple of formica tables to eat at inside, and they offer an adjacent, somewhat small, painted redwood building that has inside tables and chairs for eating what is the type of food that could be considered take out. They also offer a scattering of metal, four-chair, covered picnic tables and even a few covered, wooden picnic tables with benches to sit down and eat after you pick up your order inside. It's a good place for families with kids, a couple grabbing a quick bite, a solo diner, and workmen who drive service trucks to grab quick food and cold drinks either to go or eat there. Again, it's the opposite of fancy. I like the three-taco trays that come in your choice of chicken, fish, shrimp, or maybe beef, and stop in while I'm out running errands or meeting up with a friend for a quick, twenty-minute meal. It's definitely not upscale, restaurant-style dining, but it's tasty food freshly prepared to your order.
It wasn't bad. The fish portions were a little underwhelming. Everything was cooked well, the curly fries were seasoned well. The wait time was a little on the busy side. If you're looking for something outside of fish, you'll probably be happy.
