Last night we went to Ristorante Ciao it was pretty good. The veal ravioli bolognese was delicious, and the Marsala sauce was a bit watery and the Shirley temple was perfect!!

All I can say is AMAZING!!!! A spectacular Italian food journey in a Naples stronghold. They had a reduction of staff but Josh was absolutely incredible and worked so, so hard. Come prepared to be relaxed and stay for longer than an hour. This is not a quick, casual Italian spot. This is a culinary experience and come equipped with a good, entertaining group, or a quiet, romantic evening. This is a great spot for a private party or special family occasion as well. We came on a whim after cocktails on 5th and it was the best decision we’ve ever made. You can walk here from any 5th Ave spots. Amazing cocktails, and the wine selections and food were a million times better than any 5th Ave restaurant around. Forget the packed places and come to this special, old school Naples spot. This is an intimate spot where you will be well taken care of and your taste buds will be happy. I am born and raised in Naples and this is the best by far. Come with an Italian dinner mindset (1.5-2.5hr dinner) and leave fulfilled. Truffle pasta was incredible and Osso Bucco with risotto was out of this world. Carpaccio is the BEST: capers, lemon, light mustard sauce. Perfect. Haven’t been here for ~10 years but man have I been missing out. Fantastic kitchen and crew. Amazing job. Thanks, Josh!!!! Dessert was also incredible.

This was our first time at Ciao and it was a great experience. The food and service was outstanding. We were a group of six sitting at a round table and we could all hear each other. We loved their baby artichoke appetizer and our dinners, for example fresh snapper, home made ravioli, shrimp and calamari. We were able to bring our wine and pay a corking fee. This restaurant reminded us of our favorite place in New York. We will definitely be back.

It is always a pleasure to eat lunch at Ristorante Ciao. Food is superb and service is outstanding. It feels elegant and old world but the lunch specials are a great deal. Soup or salad, one of 4 entrees and a glass of house wine or non alcoholic beverages for $18.50 is an excellent value.

Boy did we hit the jackpot when we decided to stop at Restaurant Ciao. We were staying at the Ritz Carlton Golf Resort and the food was really mediocre. Since we were staying there for 4 nights we needed to find a property offsite for our dinners. Since the COVID pandemic has turned the world a bit upside down we weren’t sure where to go. We were on our way to Trulucks in Old Naples and drive by Restaurant Ciao. Wanting to support the small local business community we decided to stop here. There were outside dining tables so we felt safe. From the moment we walked in and were so warmly greeted by Carol and then again by our. Excellent waiter Josh we knew it would be a good experience. Even though the distance restrictions had been lifted by our!$&@??! Governor, the owners felt it imperative to maintain a 50% occupancy so their patrons could feel comfortable and safe. Our experience was so good that we came back the next night for the Wednesday Pasta specials. Good was excellent and we especially liked the calamari appetizer and the Caesar salad without the heavy cream dressing. Don’t miss the ricotta cheesecake for dessert. If you are in Naples make sure to eat here and help this 33 year old business prosper during these difficult times. Besides having a great experience you will be helping the community ..

Totally enjoyed this established Naples restaurant. The veal cut with a fork. Prices are very reasonable and the service is phenomenal. You will love the warm atmosphere and spectacular choices. High recommend! Get the tiramisu for desert.

The managing partner Carol Rosen makes sure every customer has the best dining experience. She and her staff go the extra mile to make sure everything is perfect. Can’t ask for a more authentic Italian meal cooked by a REAL Italian award winning chef. Makes the pretenders on 5th Avenue pale in comparison! I have eaten at almost every Naples Fl. 5th Avenue restaurant and for value and culinary experience Ciao has no competition. The location one block off 5th Avenue on 4th Avenue is not a problem. You are 1 minute from the main crowded drag. Actually, it is a pleasure not to fight the crowds on the sidewalk to get to dinner. With a parking lot 500 feet away ease of finding a space is never an issue. Sadly, Ciao, after 35 years is closing on May 9th. The Chef and Mrs. Rosen are hanging up their aprons to retire. I will miss the great food and charming atmosphere of Ciao. I’m a frequent guest at Ciao and will continue to eat there once or twice a week right to the end. A legendary restaurant in my humble opinion.

Hands down Best dinner I have had the pleasure of experiencing here in the greater naples area. The service was impeccable. our waiter was knowledgeable , attentive and very personable he was a joy to have at our table throughout our entire night. Now for the best part, the food! It was authentic and fresh. best of all it was not too complicated it was like my nanna cooked it herself. I had the tomato mozzarella caprese for my salad. You could taste the new Jersey in the tomatoes and the milk in the cheese absolutely outstanding. My wife had the Tuscan beet salad.. garden fresh... then I had braised osso buco with a creamy saffron rissoto. it was just like when i was in italy.. my wife had sea scallops and shrimp rissoto.. if I didn't know better I would have thought we were in calabria the seafood was fresh and abundant. ... my wife is still talking about it..... the wine selection was perfect the majority were from Italy and not acessable here in the states.... dessert was equally as amazing we shared the zabaone. Whipped egg yolks sugar and Marsala wine over vanilla gelato and fresh berrys.....the bottom line is after this dinner I am sold on ciao... we will be back.....

Restaurant Ciao set up their restaurant for a wonderful private event wedding. It was excellent cuisine, with five courses of the best Italian dishes I've ever enjoyed. The chef greeted us as well, and it made the dining experience authentic. Buon appetito!

Authentic, classic italian cuisine in a quiet setting a block away from the hustle of 5th ave. The veal dishes are superb.. The owner/chef is visible in the dining room and really knows italian cuisine! The service is attentive and efficient and the wine list reasonably priced.
