Excellent food, always kind and promptly service when I have visited. Would recommend for an "off the beaten path" food stop. Excellent beer and wine menu as well, definitely recommend bringing friends / out-of-town visitors. Awesome back patio with plenty of tables and seating surround by various plants and trees for natural fence / privacy feeling.

DELICIOUS! I had the Stroganoff Burger with sweet potato fries. The mushroom bechamel on the burger was so so good. I also very much enjoyed the homemade buns. The fries were okay, not crispy, but tasty.
Great atmosphere and location, it always seems busy. The menu was good but the drinks were great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I'll be back again soon!
Everyone else I was with loved their burgers and the beer selection. My chicken pesto sandwich was totally lackluster. Chicken was dry as hell, it must have been frozen. Atmosphere is good though. So are the sweet potato fries. We'll probably come back to try other burgers.

So don't order the platter unless you have not eaten for 3 days. I had to take over 1/2 of it home in a togo box. All very good just a whole lot of it. The made to order cream and cherry sodas are something that you absolutely need to try.
Came from out of state and arrived a few minutes before opening. We were immediately seated once we got in and the service was great. They told us house favorites since we were first-timers and gave recommendations on drinks. Food was awesome, we all got different burgers (stroganoff burger was definitely worth trying, something is never heard of before). Everyone in our party left full and happy. Would definitely go back next time we're in town.
Dayummmmm! Don't be fooled by the name people. This is one amazing burger place. Had the pharmacy burger with tater tots and it was soooo yummy ! Burgery goodness, and the taters were the best addition on the side. All my friends loved it and had burgers mostly but one did try the bratwurst hot dog and I was so jealous I wish I had tried that as well. You won't be disappointed. Great service and fantastic place to sit out the back, gave a boutique beer garden feel ! Yum yum yum 🍔
We've been wanting to try Pharmacy Birger for a while and each time we went the line was around the block. We got lucky this time and there wasn't even a wait. So glad we finally got the chance to eat here. It totally lives up to the hype. We all got pharmacy burgers and customized them to our liking. Mine added pico de gallo, hubs added quacamole and jalapeños and daughter had hers just the way it comes. My son got the kid burger and fries. We all agreed that the burgers were awesome and the fries were among the best we've every had.

I can't say enough amazing things about Whitney, and, as soon as Jeremy saw I was coming to Nashville, he sent me a spreadsheet full of places to go. Just to give you an idea of how great they are -- and how excited I was to meet up with them in town!We put our names down and learned it would be about an hour before we'd be seated. And, we had to let them know when our full party arrived. No problems there. Around the specified time, we were beckoned inside and seated near the outdoor garden.First up, how can I NOT get a milkshake? It was good - chocolate, but nothing too notable. But, good. For my sandwich, I ordered the "Cheeseburger," which came with yellow cheddar, swiss, muenster, tomato and roasted garlic aioli. Side of potato salad.OK, guys, I made a rookie mistake and inhaled this damn burger before I had a chance to photograph it. Good beer, good food, good atmosphere and great staff. Portions are big, so consider sharing. The outdoor seating is fun! The burgers were outrageously good. The sausages don't disappoint.
We went to The Pharmacy at about 8:15 on a Sunday night. We waited about an hour for a table, but it was worth the wait. I ordered the cheese burger and my dining partner ordered the stroganoff burger. We both enjoyed our burgers a lot! It wasn't the best burger I have ever had, but it was very good. The roasted garlic aioli was delicious. I definitely recommend asking for a side of the beer mustard to dip your fries in. The chocolate milkshakes were fine but nothing too exciting. I think I would try a handcrafted soda instead of the milkshake next time. Service was friendly and fast.

Wonderful atmosphere. We came for dinner and had to wait, but it was worth it. I had a German wheat ale that was made with elder flowers. It was delicious. When we were able to eat, I had the stroganoff burger with sweet potato fries. I highly recommend this burger. It was beautifully topped with Navarro cheese to blend with the creaminess of the be'chamel sauce on the burger.
I suggest that this a definitely must try restaurant in Nashville.
What an AWESOME cheeseburger they have here! More beers than you can shake a stick at. This is by far one of the best burgers I've ever had. Great staff too. The only down side was the abundance of man buns.

The Pharmacy serves the best hamburger I have ever eaten in my life.
I think their secret is the burger bun ( slightly sweet) and the beef ( tastes like organic beef).
It is very affordable ( around $15 for a burger , fries and drinks).
They have old fashioned milkshakes that are delicious.
I hear their craft beers are also good.
The only problem at the pharmacy is the wait time. Sometimes over an hour and a half on weekends. Better to go during the week to avoid this. But the hamburgers are worth the wait!
Went to this place on an afternoon with my girlfriends family. The atmosphere was fun and the bier garden was a really cool hangout. The burger was one of the best I've ever had and I've had many delicious burgers in my hometown of Louisville. Woul highly recommend getting the farm burger with sweet potato fries. Make sure to get the beer mustard to dip them in or the curry ketchup. Delicious

Stuck in traffic, pulled up Zomato and found this awesome spot! Clean and decorated in a very setting. Some tables are farm tables so you might sit with strangers...I always enjoy chatting with new people. The food comes extremely fast...so keep that in mind. We got the specialty sodas, which I highly recommend. Orange cream and strawberry & ginger are awesome. Got the farm burger and the southwestern burger - both great. Fresh, homemade buns, crispy bacon, all around fresh toppings. Got the fries and German potato salad, liked both. Would love to go back and hang out in their outdoor beer garden, looks like the place to be!
A very good burger,and one of the reasons is the buns,which are made fresh....Hot dogs and brats would be a good choice too.....Be careful of very long lines on the weekends-but worth the wait!

My family loves the Pharmacy. We were introduced to the Pharmacy by our daughter. I love to take my grandkids to the Pharmacy because they love the hot dogs, tater tots , and malts. We always have to get two or three malts for our dessert. My wife loves the potato salad they serve. My daughter and I love the Cheese Burgers.
The servers are great. They are always sweet to my grandkids and they are always very friendly. I've not been there at night but plan to do so soon. We usually are part of the lunch crowd. David.
Great burgers. Great vibe but not too young. Anyone can enjoy this place and not feel hipster-ish. Ordered the farm burger cooked med-rare. Came out perfect. Service was attentive but not over bearing. Server was well versed in the menu and gave great recommendations which I heeded all of them. The root beer and strawberry ginger soda from the soda shop were great. This place comes highly recommended. Also about try the shakes. ......to be continued.
Absolutely perfect place for my casual anniversary dinner with my boyfriend! The atmosphere was romantic in the back with the string lights as it was getting dark outside. The food was absolutely delicious! He ordered a root beer float and loved it and I loved my vanilla milkshake. I will definitely be back when in Nashville again!

I love the vibe of this restaurant. We ate there on our way out of town so I didn't get to enjoy any beer (I was driving) but the selection was impressive. I enjoyed my burger. I wouldn't say it was the best burger ever (or necessarily award winning) but it was good. They have lots of options for toppings and a variety of cheeses to you can really pick what your like. My favorite part was the side dish of tater tots. I love it when we can eat tots!! I would likely return to The Pharmacy but It seems a bit out of the way from the areas I usually visit in Nashville and that's why I haven't been back. I went because I heard they had won many awards for their burgers etc. Glad I tried it.
The Farm Burger was excellent! Food is plentiful, priced reasonably, and excellent beers on tap. Service is fast, courteous and attentive. Weather permitting, sit on the patio. Wonderful atmosphere for lunch or dinner.
On our road trip last month, we stopped by Nashville's Pharmacy for lunch. I thought to myself, "How could the monkeys not like a burger parlor?" Well, we arrived right at the lunch rush, and Satchel (13), who must have been super hungry, got a little cranky about having to wait. They said it would be about 45 minutes, but honestly we only waited about 5-10. I really wanted to sit outside in the beer garden, but we asked for first available which landed us inside by the bar.
Decent burger, it was over cooked but still juicy. The falafel burger is actually really good and flavorful. Superb German beer list and beer garden.

Words cannot explain how delicious my meal was! Like it is worth the ride if you want a delicious lunch while your in Nashville go here. I had to fight my friends to go because they didn't want to eat out so much. The vibe of this place is always a plus if wanting somewhere hip to brunch or have a mid-day beer, just don't be expecting to get a bloody or mimosa. (Sunday brunch ruined). To say these are the best burgers in Nashville, however, is far from accurate. I've had better (Jim Carey voice).

I absolutely love the Pharmacy. Being a vegan, it's quite difficult to find an awesome vegan burger. Although, their Falafel and their Black Bean burgers are the best I've ever had! I highly recommend.

Number one burger place in Nashville for a great reason! The meat is great, the bun is great! I usually get their sweet potato fries and they're so delicious! The seating is great. Wish there was a better wait area rather than just outside waiting for a phone call from them. But besides that no complaints! Good beer selection. Sweet tea is highly recommended!
This is Heaven for Burgers and Brats. This is a cool place that's totally worth the wait! After our first experience, we already can't wait to go back. The menu features a variety of burgers, chicken, and wursts. We had a pharmacy burger and a curry-wurst for our meal. First off, the buns they use make everything even better. My wife said it was one of the best burgers she's ever had! My curry-wurst was flavorful and had a nice "snap" to the sausage. The homemade curry sauce was killer too. Heck, they even nailed the sides. I love a good German potato salad, and the pharmacy delivered on that. Plus, the sweet potato fries were fantastic and clearly made in house. Don't let the line stop you, you've gotta check this place out.
Fantastic!. This place is just great! My husband and I went at the recommendation of a friend while we were visiting Nashville. Burgers were delicious as were the fries and tots! Only downside is no full bar, only beer and wine. Beer selection was very good though. Give this place a try, just be prepared to wait. We were lucky enough to get 2 seats at the bar, but otherwise, the wait was one hour (on a Sunday evening).
Fun place to meet and chow. It's a nice area of the city, and a great setting. You can sit indoors, outdoors in a covered patio or at the picnic tables outside in the Biergarten in the sun. We enjoyed the good beer selection, which is a must at a place like this. The wife had a cheeseburger, which was nicely done, using a handformed patty. The bun and fries were good, but the beef didn't have a whole lot of flavor. Perhaps they are cooking them on a stainless cooker top instead of a grill? Even so, it's better than the average burger. I loved my jäger wurst. It's huge, and comes with the mildest ( or least flavorful, depending how you look at it) sauerkraut I have ever had. The bun couldn't stand up to the sausage and fell apart immediately. Besides that, it was very tasty and the beer mustard was a great compliment. This looks like a great place to take a date or meet some friends. Our server was extremely efficient and friendly. Go, and eat local!!

I ordered the Farm Burger, their most popular menu item according to the soda jerk. It comes with egg, bacon, and ham on top of the patty, plus maple mustard, whatever that is.
I have to say, I wasn't so much into the extra toppings, but the burger itself and the bun were excellent. Good thick beef cooked just right.
I had a vanilla shake with my meal, which was thick and sweet, and then a cherry phosphate to go. I'd like to go back and try their other phosphate flavors. Good stuff.
Had the cheese burger. Top 3 burger of my life, definitely the best bun ever. Tons of cheese, thick patty, cooked medium rare. Bun is soft and chewy but holds up to the burger and toppings. Fries were on point too. Went at lunch time on a Saturday, told 30 min wait, found 2 open spots at the bar right away. Would stand outside in the rain for 2 hrs to eat this again. A definite must go spot in Nashville.

Awesome burger.. Took my mother here when she was visiting and we both loved it. It's nice to find a place that does a burger that's not too thick, especially once you add awesome things like fried eggs. I had the farm burger without the ham and it was just about perfect. Still too much for one sitting, though, so I took half of it home.
Very nice to have sweet potato fries as a side option, though they were a bit greasy for my taste.
I also had their on tap root beer, which was extremely good. Worth that extra price, IMO.
Service was prompt and very attentive and friendly. At 11:15 on a weekday it was a breeze to find parking and get a table immediately, the benefits of an early lunch hour. Will definitely be back!
Wonderful Spot. I hit this joint as I was travelling across country so I sat at the bar by myself. The bartenders were attentive and could not have been nicer. I had a farm burger which was excellent and I appreciated that the egg was actually cooked over-easy as opposed to the fried eggs many other places serve. The sweet potato fries were among the better I've had and the food came out very quickly. Bartender also recommended an excellent local beer upon request. I would definitely come back here!

Great burger place. My wife and I recently had lunch at The Pharmacy. We both had burgers, me the Farmhouse Burger, her the cheeseburger. The meat was good and well cooked. The fries and german potato salad were very good. Great selection of German beers. The only drawback is the available parking. Be prepared to park in the street and walk some distance. Overall a great experience.
Pack a Lunch. I liked it but, if your hungry, you'd better pack a lunch to eat while waiting to be seated. I enjoyed the outside seating area and since I had packed my lunch, it was worth the wait. Portions were large and beer was cold. Enjoy!

The #1 Burger to try in Nashville!. An awesome German-Burger fusion makes it hard to choose between Wurst and a Burger. I suggest taking a friend, so you can steal a few bites of theirs! If you want a burger, but are craving a unique twist, I'd recommend the Stroganoff Burger - busting with flavor that you won't regret. The Wurst are great too. I really don't think you can go wrong, no matter what you order. Not hard to get too, just North of downtown.
Instant Favorite. There is no way you can leave Nashville without stopping here! Great atmosphere, friendly staff, fast service, delicious food. Had a root beer float with my meal, best float I have ever had!
Going back for the Farm Burger - again!. Wasn't sure about a beef burger with ham, bacon and a fried egg - but it was so very good! Perfect combination and I will definitely try it at home. The fries and potato salad were okay, but the ice cream soda was wonderful. I will definitely go back but will take my time and eat on the patio next time rather than doing take-out.

Amazing Food, Worth the Wait!. We waited in line about 20 minutes for our party of four to be seated. They have a cool system where they take your phone number and call you to let you know they have your table ready (just make sure to give them your zip code or they'll scratch your name off the list). There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating!
Staff were helpful and friendly, made good suggestions about the menu (as this was our first time). Despite the wait outside, you don't have to wait long for your food once placing an order. All sodas are made right there at the counter, and are AMAZING! My husband tried vanilla, and I tried cherry. Be warned: refills are not free, but are worth every extra $1 a cup!

Best hamburger ever! Also best brat I think I've ever had! The orange creamsickle soda was to die for! It was 1 when we got here and we were told it would a 10 minute wait. It turned into 20 when 2 young men entered and spoke with the hostess and she seated them right away. We were a little upset but things happen. Later we were seated next to the young men and saw that she kept coming over and snacking off one of the young men's plate. Turns out they were an item. No wonder he got seated first lol. This is a highly recommended place to eat!
Superb. We were enjoying Broadway in Nashville, shopping and sightseeing, when on a recommendation we stopped in for a bite to eat at Rippey's. Not being satisfied, I did a search for a place that was highly rated on Urbanspoon. Up came the Pharmacy Burger Parlor & Beer Garden. "Why not?" we thought and set our GPS to get there.
Our GPS ended up taking us through some residential neighborhoods until we finally saw the place. It doesn't jump out at ya and it's nothing fancy from the outside. However, once in the place, which was busy at 4:00pm but no line, it was very roomy.
As for the food? everyone in our party was quite pleased with their meals, especially me. I had the Bratwurst sandwich with hand-cut fries. The sausage was cooked to perfection on their outdoor grill behind the restaurant. It was tender. As for the fries, delicious. If you're in the Nashville area looking for some excellent food and a fun and friendly atmosphere, this is the place you can't pass up.
Prefer the wurst over burgers, sodas awesome and just hanging out in the bier garden w a real German draft beer is worth trying

In town to see the Weezer / Pinkerton show and my friends took me here. My friend suggested the Farm Burger, so I got that and I'm glad I did. The combination of flavors was great. The egg can make it a little messy, but it was very good. It was crowded on a Sunday afternoon, but we sat at the bar and that was fine. Like in other Reviews, we were done for a while and waiting on the check. I would think this is the time that any server would be the promptest - getting the currency in exchange for their service. But today the thought hit me - if you give someone their check TOO fast, then you'd have reviews saying they tried to hurry them out the door. I guess it's all about finding the right balance. In closing, if this was restaurant in my area, I would definitely go back and get the Farm Burger again.
My favorite place! I'm not a vegetarian, but their black bean burger is amazing. And sweet potato fries!! It gets really busy on the weekends, so just be ready for that.

Not just filling, but satisfying!. My wife and I drove 20 miles to check out this place, and I will not be able to say enough good things about it. I had a type of sampler, my wife had the black bean burger, they both were amazing, the sweet potato fries were off the charts as well ( didn't realize sweet fries could get better), and we both tried the coca cola made with real sugar and loved it, also tried a couple of the fresh sodas that they make there and they were awesome. We will be stopping there often now, that's my new addiction. The sampler that I had was a bratwurst with 3 different kind, in a skillet of sauerkraut. The atmosphere was relaxed and very enjoyable, I can't wait till it gets warmer to be able to go out back and eat outside with the wonderful scenery that they have.
The Mission City Burger and Californian burger were great! 30 minute wait turned into an hour but we had friendly service and our food was served fast. My husband got the currywurst and was disappointed. Don't get a "wurst" if you are looking for traditional German, stick to the burgers!!

Super Place. My wife and I have eaten here several times and have always had a good experience. The burgers and fries are delicious, and there are quite a few beers to choose from. We've also had great sodas and shakes, so their soda shop is the real deal. The wait staff has always been super nice, and if you keep an eye out, you just might cross paths with a celeb - we saw Jack White on a recent visit. The outdoor beer garden is a relaxing place to catch up with family and friends, so you have your choice of inside or outside seating when the weather is nice. Check it out!

When we planned our visit to Nashville, one burger joint that kept coming up as a "must visit" was "The Pharmacy". Long story short, it does not disappoint.
This location seems like it's an odd spot, but inside (especially the backyard) is great. When we came in after a tired and weary day, we chose the inside just to be quick. Then we glanced outside and asked our server, Georgianna, moved us outside.
The burgers and Octoberfest beer really hit the spot for a late October afternoon, and Georgianna really went above and beyond to take care of us outside, and not in her usual "zone". Overall the service, food and atmosphere are great, and this is one of those classic Nashville spots you need to add to your "can't miss" list.
Atmosphere, staff are super friendly. Great outdoor settings. Burgers delicious but my only “picky me” was I think the burger meat was a frozen patty a little over cooked. The ingredients and everything else made it amazing still. Beer 🍺 tasty as well and fresh.

Lunch was excellent! We got there at 1100 and were seated immediately. Parked across the street in a residential area. My son and I got The Pharmacy Burger (I had fries and he had tots), and my husband had the Chipotle Slap Burger with the German potato salad. I also had the root beer, my son had the Cream Soda, and the husband had the Erdinger Dunkelweizen beer. Everything was so good! The burgers were cooked just right, sides were amazing. I ordered a side of the BBQ sauce (yum!). Drinks were so good too! Atmosphere was fun.. we sat inside due to the heat index, but a lot of people coming in behind us chose to sit outside. Many people chose to sit at the bar. German theme was cool! Our server was Michael A and he was very friendly and attentive. So glad we chose this place for lunch! Would definitely recommend if you are in the Nashville area! 10/10 🙌🏻
During a recent visit to Nashville, we found this hidden gem in East Nashville through Google reviews. Please let me steer you this way too. A quick Uber ride from the Omni on a Wednesday night got us there and promptly seated in the Biergarten. Service was top notch, the burgers amazing, holy cow the fries were plentiful and tasty. I enjoyed the various beer selections and my son enjoyed the phosphates. Don’t think twice, just go!

The establishment is fabulous!! It has a great atmosphere and wonderful service! And the food is out of this world! Oh! and the dark lager is superb! Two thumbs up!
