We had the most fabulous time here! The general manager took the time to talk to us and was extremely personable. Our waiter Dewitt was awesome and also super friendly. The food was fantastic. I had a rose spritzer and we had smoked trout rillettes as an appetizer. For my entree I really enjoyed the seared tuna that came with an amazing chipotle accent and chimichurri sauce that was incredible. My husband had grilled Atlantic salmon and we shared the creme brûlée for dessert. We can’t say enough good stuff about the place, the food, and the staff. It’s a hidden gem that we will absolutely revisit!
I ate at Sea Salt on a date night with my wife. The place creates a great atmosphere and the service was very attentive. But the best part was the food. My trout was seasoned and prepared perfectly. The dish was the best, freshest fish I have had in years. We will eat there again the next time we are in Nashville.

This was our first time to Nashville. We had a wonderful dinner at Sea Salt and really enjoyed talking to the owner. He was super nice and gave us lots of information concerning the history of the building and some of the other local places as well. The staff was all very nice! We highly recommend this place!
We had New Year’s Eve dinner here and were pleased to see the Father’s Day menu/brunch. The server was prompt and attentive with service.

Absolutely a fan, it was perfect in every way. The Boeuf Bourguignon is to die for, this is a dish we look forward to going back for. I also recommend the Printers Ally cocktail, delish. Can’t wait to return, dining here was a phenomenal experience.
We were in town for a girl vacation and was looking for a good spot to eat and was very happy that we found Sea Salt. Excellent food, service, atmosphere and drinks. Very friendly staff. If you are in Nashville, be sure to stop in there. You won't be sorry.
Had a wonderful dinner tonight with my wife and our server/bartender Lisa was wonderful and made us feel so welcome even though she had lots of tables to tend to. We got married three years ago in the space you took over and I'm so happy to see the aesthetic remains true to what that beautiful building once was. We will definitely be back. I’m not a big spinach fan but I loved the spinach that came with my salmon entré! My new favorite dessert is the cookie and ice cream at Sea Salt! Great service and wonderful meal! I’ll be back!

Delicious, high quality, and unique cuisine! Everybody has to try this place at least once in your lifetime if you like a great service, ambiance and food.
This was the second weekend for the brunch menu. It was so good that I would’ve thought they had been doing it for years! Be sure to order bacon and the bottomless Bloody Mary.
We originally had a reservation but we were able to walk-in earlier. The restaurant at first glance is nice and clean and has a nice casual feel. Great place if you are looking for dinner date. Food presentation for both plates were great as well. The crab and shrimp cake was awesome. The pork chop dinner looked and tasted great, minus the fact the pork chop was pretty dry but surprisingly still tender. Had the pork chop not been so dry I’d give a 5 star.
I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. Tucked between a mattress store and a dentist Sea salt is serving up beautiful and delicious food. Mike and our server Aracely treated us like royalty, every one of their suggestions was better then the next. To make our date even more special was the piano player who serenaded us through out dinner. Even though we are about 40 min away this is definitely our new date night spot. Everything on the menu is delicious. Thank you Sea salt!

After seeing a news report on restaurant owners moving away from downtown that featured Sea Salt we immediately put them on our must eat list.
FIRST IMPRESSION
We discovered they were open for brunch and went Saturday morning. We were pleasantly greeted and welcomed in by Jackie. Let's get this out the way first. Jackie was OUTSTANDING! She checked on us several times and made us feel at home.
MENU
The brunch menu offered shrimp and grits, a chowder, a lobster and shrimp roll, a crab cake po boy to name a few. Everything on the menu was reasonably priced.
I got the lobster and shrimp roll which was delicious. It was served on a perfectly golden cooked Italian bread bun with a drizzle of aoili sauce. It was served with just the right amount of home fries. The portions hit the spot. Pro tip: the homemade aioli sauce is what you want to dip your fries in (see pic).
Wifey got the crabcake po boy. I had a few bites..it was good. I appreciated the presentation and that it wasn't overstuffed.
I also had an oyster which was fresh..not gritty and run under a stream of water like some oysters can taste. A sprinkle of hot sauce and away it went.
SERVICE
Our waiter, Rico, was awesome. He was energetic, pleasant, had good conversation and took care of us. He suggested the anejo tequila...and he kept her mimosas coming. $5 mimosas in Hendersonville beats $13 downtown and free is parking!
We even had interaction with the bartender from our table. Shout out for the tequilla samples! The repository was food but it was the anejo for me!
We'll definitely be back. Highly recommended for a quick lunch, or grabbing a happy hour drink at the bar.
This was an experience beyond all expectations. The first thing I noticed was the piano player pumping out mellow music. The staff was well informed about the menu and helpful on suggestions for wine pairings while also keeping the atmosphere light and relaxing. The food is absolutely phenomenal!! From the charcuterie appetizer to the peach cobbler, everything seemed to just melt in my mouth. This was an experience I will not forget. This is a great spot for date night, girls night out, business meals or just to have a next level dining experience. Go, you won't regret it.
It was my girlfriend's birthday and we've really been wanting to try this place. The bar was set pretty high, since we've had so many people say awesome things about it. Even still, those expectations were blown out of the water!
My girlfriend has a gluten, soy, and peppers allergy, which makes eating out a challenge, but this wasn't an issue for the quick thinking and on the fly adjustments made by the staff to ensure she could enjoy the best their menu has to offer. Our server Jackie and the Chef were amazing! Kind and very accommodating!

What a diamond restaurant off the beaten path. The ambiance from the moment you enter the door was so inviting and relaxing. The hostess was extremely hospitable as well as Rachel our server. Rachel was extremely knowledgeable of the menu and professional with offering her recommendations of certain selections. As one or two people in our party of 8 had a kindergarten palette.
The food was delicious with an abundance of flavor. In the picture is the Verlasso salmon. A must have, served fresh and underneath was the Brussels, carrots, sweet potatoes covered in a puréed seasoning. The dessert was a lemon tart with a blackberry sauce.
I recommend this restaurant either for a date night or a gathering of friends.
This is a place to go. The dishes are expertly cooked and flavor is outstanding. Everything was fresh from veggies to seafood. Prices are great for well prepared seafood. Will definitely go again.
This was my first time visiting Sea Salt. We had a reservation and were seated immediately. The food was really good and the drinks were tasty. The service was also really good. I would definitely recommend Sea Salt for a great experience.
A very special gem of a place! Wonderful atmosphere with a live piano player. Whimsical decor. Curated menu with many seafood options. We enjoyed the ceviche, cheese board, oysters, shrimp scampi, mahi with couscous and ratatouille, and scallops with gouda grits. Still plenty other options on the menu to go back and try.
We had a great first visit to Sea Salt with friends. There are some other spouts that tout "best seafood/fish", but the portion just isn't worth the price. This place is pretty legit with most fresh fish I've had and the flavors are much more complex. Great options for a nice night out. This may not be the best place for the kids, but they do have some lower price "non-fish" options. But from oysters to clams, scallops and shrimp, all of which are done in a classy atmosphere and presentation, this is definitely a new favorite
The most outstanding and phenomenal seafood ever, everything was cooked so perfectly, awesome taste. The Salmon was the best I have ever had in a long long time, so worth every dollar if you like Salmon, paired perfectly with sweet potatoe cubes, sweet corn and brussel sprouts, everything was amazing, definitely will return when coming back to the area. Wait staff very friendly and helpful, met the owner and talked, he suggested coming for Brunch the next day so that's what we're doing, don't pass this place up, you will regret it, definitely go here.
What a great place! From the small plates all the way to dessert, just wonderful!!! The Shrimp small plate was so good we ordered a second. For the main course I had the special which was Halibut and Shrimp. My wife had the Salmon. Both were perfect!!! Great price on small plates before 6 but you'll want to stay to hear the piano player.
Also Mike the waiter was as good as they get.
My first time in Nashville! This place made it all turn into a magical moment. Everything we tried was amazing, I didn’t take pictures of the rest my WOW! From the drinks to the food the best i ever had, I recommend 100%

Wonderful restaurant in Hendersonville! They have items on the menu that are not seafood, but if you love fish, and are looking for a place that knows how to cook it, this is your place! I love fish and while I like salmon, it gets tiresome that it is frequently all restaurants offer in the fish category. Sea Salt has lots of fish choices. I had Tile fish, my husband had Striped Bass, and my daughter had Salmon. We had the mussels as a starter and they were big fat mussels, great for sharing. Our waiter was terrific and our service was great! Come check out this great restaurant that is bringing fine food in a casual atmosphere to Hendersonville.
Our first time here & the food is amazing! We had the steak frites and special of the day pasta with shrimp & bacon. The ambiance is very nice & relaxing. We especially enjoyed the piano music. We will definitely be coming back more often!
Very nice decor and friendly staff. Upscale. Was a little suprised by the brevity of the menu. May be because it is only the second night open. Will be interesting to see if the menu changes/expands. Live piano! Overall impressed! Bacon wrapped shrimp very well done.
The food was fantastic! The gnocchi is top three the best I’ve ever had. Nick waited on us and he was so great, attentive and fun. We will request him on our next visit. Hendersonville is lucky to have this quality restaurant.
