Best brewery in Nashville period. The Gerst amber ale is my all time favorite beer on this planet, I highly recommend!

Wow if you’ve never been here before or had their beer, you need to do both!! Their new facility is massive and impressive! Very nice and big taproom with an awesome outdoor area for those good weather days. And their beer... oh man, you to try it. It’s all great beer!

Awesome place. Great beers, regularly rotating and now making the Nashville SC beer. Tucked away from the street, tons of parking and space indoor and out. Brewery tours are open again. Justin and the rest of the crew are great!

So much open space and right next to the river. This yahoo makes for a fun event night!

Absolutely love this laid back spot with a big outdoor space. Perfect for an afternoon or evening beer...or both. They have several key beers that are as tasty as they are easy to drink and they rotate in other seasonal beers which are often more adventurous and bold. Worth making your way across town for.

Awesome brewery! They have a lot of beers on tap. Make sure to stop at the swag shop and pickup one of their awesome shirts or beer glasses. Friendly bartenders.

I ended up here on a rainy Monday afternoon waiting for my car to get fixed. The flight was very good. Pre-selected for $11 or custom for $15. Plenty of tables and a few seats at the bar. Nice local brewery.

Class acts. When we arrived on Sunday the location was closed for a private event, but we were able to place a to-go order for a case of beer that we drove from Atlanta to get. Highly recommend visiting Yazoo. The beer speaks for it self.

Cool local brewery with a chill atmosphere. I thought their beer was pretty good, not really anything to write home about, especially compared to the breweries in San Diego. They have a pretty good selection of sours and gose. Super friendly staff!

Great beer! Great pizza truck! Bad crowded set up in side. If a tour let's out you'll be waiting a while for a beer. Then enjoy your beer in line for your next round. Tables are along tight and basically are on top of people while in line. I really loved the beers and the gear I bought just not a great set up to get the beer.

Great vibe with great beer. Not gonna find anything too crazy here, just your block and tackle beer list brewed well and consistently. The summer gose is one of the best you’ll find and the IPA is really well balanced. Great place to check out in the Music City with lots of dining options nearby.

One of the best, and highest quality breweries in Nashville. Centrally located, and very near many restaurants. The taproom is cozy and friendly, and the staff are knowledgeable and welcoming. Their sours are called, Embrace the Funk, and are fantastic! They also serve Pil, Pales, Lagers,Hefe, and Gerst, if more traditional is more your speed. Stop in for a flight. You will not be disappointed!

Some good beer with nice scenery. Tucked away off the main road. End of Summer was my favorite it was a unique gose, Reminded me of a salty margarita. Grabbed a six pack to take home and hold on to summer. I was a bit confused with the bill, the 5 oz pours say $2 we got 6 and somehow that equals $15?

Nice to see a microbrewery where the owner is present and drinking the beer, and that he isn’t just some faceless investor hoping to capitalize off the current trend. Their hefeweizen, Dos Paros the Gerst are delicious. Their taproom is large and the service is amazing. A definite must see in Nashville. TIP - this brewery is walking distance to Party Fowl chicken. UPDATE - Yazoo moved in the time between my original review and now. Sometimes getting big can change your focus -- while Yazoo had to move to gain the advantage of having a larger production facility, they lost some of the local traffic that you would have expected being nearer to the city proper. The taproom at their new location is larger and offers views of the river and bluffs. The beer is still amazing, but the vibe has changed dramatically. If I were Yazoo King for a Day, I'd reopen a taproom back in their old locale. A good example is the Ole Smoky Moonshine Company. All in all I miss the old Yazoo.

Try and get here as often as possible. Most of the time it is on Monday evenings but was able to go on a Saturday afternoon today. Great atmosphere great bartenders and great beer. They have a new Schwarzbier "Black Lager", which is spot on. Hopefully they start canning / bottling this one!

The original, the local staple, this is Yazoo. Happened upon from Nashville tasting tour, couldn't turn down trying it out. The beers are consistent but no means unique. Want sour? They had it. Want stout? Done! Want lager. IPA. So on... They had it. Not the place for unique flavor combinations. Overall friendly team, casual atmosphere, and just good general beer. Close proximity to Peg leg BBQ which is a local winner.

Did the tour with my boyfriend, it was very neat we were the only ones on the 7pm tour. We got to taste three of the beers in a little glass that we got to take home. I have never really been big on beer, but after trying 3 of theirs I think I could definitely drink their beers. The set up was very cool! If you are contemplating doing the tour I highly recommend it. Very cool!
