The food is awesome! I eat here about once every month. I've tried most of the sushi rolls, and it's all good. They also have half-priced bottles of wine every Wednesday. I can't give PM a perfect rating though, because the service is really slow. It's worth the wait, but you'll be there for a while.
AMAZING sushi! The Rainbow roll is to die for!! As is the Miami and San Francisco roll. Didn't have to wait long for three rolls which is always great. It wasn't very busy either though so that probably played a role. Nonetheless, excellent experience.
Not only would I say that PM's burger is by far the best in Nashville, but so is their sushi. The atmosphere is great and the service is average, but I go any chance I get. Make sure to ask your server about the sushi pizza!! SO GOOD!
Try the Pad Thai! I've been here often enough, and thought it was good but nothing special. Until this Valentines Day when we went... I had the Pad Thai and it was delicious! Must try this lovely Pad Thai in a light fluffy egg crepe. Still dreaming about it.
A Nashville favorite!. Really good Sushi. Fair prices and awesome bar selections. Real people giving real service. Awesome Patio! Parking can be a pain. Fantastic happy hour specials! Try the Nashville roll!
Excellent food and service! I had never tried sushi before I went here, but ordered the snake roll on the advice of some knowledgeable sushi fans and loved it. Definitely will go back.
Crab wontons with bacon... Yum!!
Delicious. Without a doubt a favorite spot. Excellent and consistent food, good service, and great atmosphere.
Yum!!. Great sushi that is unbelievably affordable. Nice happy hour drink specials. Also, if I ate chicken, I would try the curried chicken sandwich--two of my friends got it and it looked amazing!
Good sushi but better burger. Turns into a cool bar later in the evening. We received great service as well.
The best place to have a fun, casual dinner in Nashville! Great spicy tuna and the PM Char Burger will blow your freaking mind!!! One of the best things I've ever eaten. Trust me. Just go get one right now!
Snake roll is fantastic. Green tea was disappointing. Overall pretty good
OMG my favorite. PM is honestly my favorite place to eat in Nashville! This is a great place to go with a group or just as a date. The staff are all very interesting and friendly. The food is phenomenal and so inexpensive. I always get the sushi (Snake and San Francisco are my favs), but I hear that the burger is to die for-for all you red meat eaters. The cocktails are amazing also and well worth the price. I recently found out that PM also allows you to bring your own wine, with a 20 dollar corking fee (which to me is a little pricey). In the summer, you will wait much less for a table than you will in the winter due to the outdoor patio being open. However, if you have a large group, you can still expect to wait an hour at least. Same for the winter, the wait can be long, BUT, this is actually one of my favorite parts about this little place. I love getting there before I'm famished and having a cocktail or bottle of wine with my friends and then sitting down later to enjoy dinner. It's like a little cocktail hour before the party! I cannot say enough about this place, it does the taste buds some good on any occasion.
Real good. PM has one of the best burgers in Nashville hands down..so juicy. And the sweet potato bisque is to die for, literally, I would die for it.
One of our favorite places in Nashville. Good little bar with several good beers on tap to hang out at while you wait for your table, a lot of patio seating for spring and summer, and some of if not the best sushi in town. Also the sweet potato fries with the wasabi mayo are a great app. Highly recommend.
Liked but would not wait for more then 20 mins for it.. Really liked the place it was a nice Thai American fusion. It didn't wow me but overall the food was very good.
Great Belmont Hang Out. A must if you are a Belmont student. Best sit-down meal for the money within walking distance from campus. I really like the Thai Wrap and anything they make with curry. The fruit tea is tasty, too!
Excellent sushi, terrible service.. My girlfriend and I went here for sushi, and I got the San Francisco roll and some salmon nigiri. Both were very fresh and delicious, and the salmon was melt-in-your mouth good. However, the service was not up to par. Our waiter was rather unfriendly and only came to our table twice after we received the food - once to ask how it was and fill up our water glasses, and a second time to give us our check. There was also a hostess wearing boots with huge heels, and every time she walked past our table, she made a loud clicking sound with them that was almost comical - she sounded like a Clydesdale horse!
I would definitely go back for the food, and hope for a different server!
Great location. I think the location of this place pretty much sums up its allure. One of my favorite locales, but the food can be hit or miss. I really like the burgers and the sushi. A strange dichotomy, I know. Last time I was there, i had a lunch noodle dish with chicken in some kind of 'asian' sauce. Honestly, and I don't say this often; the sauce was NASTY. It tasted like the juice from a can of vienna sausages. In case you've never had vienna sausages - they are only edible when you are stranded in a boat after a full day of fishing and maybe 100 miles from the nearest food. Very strange indeed.
I crave PM. I love PM. Their sushi is my favorite in town, hands down. I crave the Florida roll and their tuna loin salad. However, their customer service is always consistent. I've been bummed out a couple times because their bartenders aren't that friendly!!
Food is great, beer selection is above average. Unfortunately the furniture makes you feel like you're in a chinsy, cheap restaurant.
Good food trumps mediocre service. While most people seem to focus on the mediocre service at PM, their food is definitely worth it. Whether you are there for some sushi, or their Gyoza pot-stickers, or the Asian-inspired PM Burger, PM is a good place to do dinner with friends.
Fun atmosphere, but takes FOREVER!. PM is great place to go eat if you are not in a hurry... be prepared to wait on a table for at least 30-45 minutes if you go for dinner. The atmosphere is fun and trendy and the sushi is worth the wait. It's defnitely a great place in the summer b/c of the outside patio tables!
Somewhat slow service, but not bad. The sushi was a little flimsy. The pick two combo seems to be a good option, two rolls, salad and soup.
Love PM!. I've lived behind PM for years, and I love that one of my favorite restaurants is within walking distance. The best thing about PM is the variety. They have fantastic sushi and an awesome burger. The lunch menu is good also and a little cheaper. I also love sitting on their patio when it's warm outside. I always take friends from out of town here, and I have always had an enjoyable experience at PM. I highly recommend it!
Did a quick dash in for a late lunch early dinner. Great timing, no one was in there so everything was extremely fast. Food was fantastic. A must stop of you've never been in. Partook in the lemongrass lemonade, the best!! Thanks for great service and food!!
Another stop during the college tour in Nashville. This was an interesting restaurant and now I see it's a Asian fusion restaurant! I got a Pho which was delicious. My son had sushi burrito and my husband had a burrito and they all loved their food. I would love to try their sushi burrito when I come back next time. The server was great as well.
(this is the new location for Athens Family Restaurant)
one word.. AMAZING! so happy these guys were able to stay open, as well as move to a (likely) better location! 😊 can't wait to come back!
FRIES ARE 🔥🔥🔥
The food was good here and open late! Great service.
Coolest bar tender I've ever met! Get the 120 wine bottle. Great deal. Also great sushi 👌!
The price point is fair, the food comes out fresh, flavorful, and hot! A nice change of pace from the buffet life!
Awesome sushi, good service, and they stay open late too! Always a great last stop for quality sushi after a night on the town.
Outstanding Asian fusion with decent sushi rolls, great Thai food, and outstanding creative fusion dishes. The chef and owners are really friendly. Great beverage options as well. Kid friendly. The vegetarian and vegan options keep me coming back over and over again.
I like this place! Great food, good ambiance, and the staff are very nice and attentive. The price is a little high, but for one of the best burgers (and sweet potato fries) in town it is definitely worth it!! I was surprised to see such a low rating when I looked up their phone number today so I thought I would kick in my 2 cents. It looks like PM and (possibly) a competing restaurant are writing opposing reviews. Oh yeah, and they have a great sushi bar!
Fun, comfortable, casual spot near Belmont U. and Vandy. Young, hip ownership and staff, but well run and with very good service each time I've eaten there. Definitely not a student dive, in other words. Full bar with a short but well-rounded list of specialty cocktails. Excellent food menu, with a lot of variety. The food itself is outstanding, especially for the value. For two people: two cocktails, two appetizers, two sushi orders, a large sake, dessert, total bill just over $60. Everything was delicious, and portion sizes (including sushi) were above average. Great experience, will go again soon and try something new on the menu!
Arguably one of the best burgers in town and for only $11 with bacon, cheese and grilled onions plus a side of fries, it's a steal. I also enjoy the sushi pizza (really more like a lasagna, almost) and the indoor & outdoor seating options are nice.
This is probably the best sushi in Nashville. This place is perfect to hang out with friends or for a first date. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Menu can be altered to your liking. I wish I could make it over here more often.
The menu here is unique and wonderful. I wanted a summer roll but found the PM roll...yum! The veggie burger and hand cut sweet potato fries...light and delicious! Lo mein without meat missed nothing....
The most scrumptious touch was Anthony....our kind, lovely, attentive guide....love, love, love this place ESPECIALLY Anthony!
Loved the pad Thai. Great staff. Great environment. Board games while you wait to be seated. Good music. Bar area. Nice variety of menu items. A little pricey but great Nashville must try
Not usually a fan of fusion places but the sushi and buffalo wings were definitely a hit with me. We were a group of 6, visiting late on a Saturday night. Definitely a popular college spot.
We tried out a bunch of their speciality rolls (there are about 6-8 rolls per plate), their wings in sriracha sauce and for dessert the lava cake. I enjoyed all the rolls and the wings were delicious (was tempted to order another plate). Didn't try the lava cake myself, but the others who did seemed to really enjoy it (was a hit with the kids).
P.S. Looks like their trying out a new menu with a sneak peek available.
Would I go back? Yes! For more wings and rolls :) (the next time we're in Nashville!).
ABSOLUTELY LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE. Me and my boyfriend's go-to date restaurant. We always get the same server and I so wish I knew her name but she's this super cool girl with a shaved head and she so friendly. Her outfits are always so cute and she provides great service. The food is so yummy.
