The food was incredible and so was the service!! Drinks were great, and everything was priced so nicely compared to what many other places would charge. Using Apple Maps, Blue Moon was easy to navigate and find! Our waitress was so sweet and the atmosphere was so nice. Loved being near the water and had a night to escape the normal, crazy Nashville atmosphere I’m used to. Will definitely be back!!

Quirky dive on the water. I kept wondering where google was sending me and then we ended up at a Marina. Walk the maze and you will see a very nice, put together, happy, bar restaurant right on the water. Good is: Food was good to great Seafood was good Catfish was great Service good Atmosphere - great The bad: A little pricey Bloody Mary - good $8 Combo platter - $34 (we split) We will go again. Recommended

Visited Blue Moon for the first time upon a recommendation from family. Did not know what to expect but the restaurant is located at a marina so it's surrounded by water. Lots of space. You could dine inside or outside. We were seated immediately. Our server was okay. We arrived a little before 1pm so maybe she was tired. No smile or excitement. Anyway, she did bring whatever we needed and answered questions. I ordered the seafood platter: coconut shrimp, catfish, fries, a taste of cole slaw and hushpuppies. I added a side salad. Coconut shrimp were good. They were dark like they got a little too crispy but still had a good favor. The catfish batter tasted good. The catfish needed to cook a little more for me (I will probably not order again). The hushpuppies were great! The slaw was meh. Fries had a good taste but were oily and soggy. My husband ordered the seafood platter: grilled shrimp and salmon. He had fries and Cole slaw as well. He agreed on my description of the fries. He said his salmon was bland. Our son ordered the jerk chicken. It had black beans, rice, and pineapple salsa. He said that it tasted okay. He wasn't a fan of the sweetness from the pineapple salsa. He cleaned his plate. He had the mac and cheese. He said that it was alright but wished he had ordered a different side. We will return and go for the breakfast and brunch options. They had lots of food items that we want to try. The atmosphere was good. A little expensive at over $100 including tip for 3 people.

We stopped by for an evening meal. My Little Princess had the oyster basket with broccoli and I had the catfish basket with macaroni. The food was very good, but the oysters were very small, thus the four stars. This isn't a place you go to for atmosphere, but the food. It's on the river at a marina. The service was very good, Johnathan was always there when you needed him.

If you were to tell me this was in west Nashville, I would’ve called you a liar. Such a beautiful place to eat and with beautiful views. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable of the menu and had great recommendations. It does get busy in the evening and the parking can be a pain but overall I loved it! ❤️

First of all_ we did not have a clue that this place existed in Nashville, even though we love to try all the possible spots we are able to access. As it was Mother's Day weekend and I had driven all the way back to Nashville from Pennsylvania; I anxiously spent this special weekend with my son. I love the water_ beaches, lakes, ponds, rivers, all bodies of water; we searched for riverfront eateries. The FIRST time was a charm when we happened upon the 'Blue Moon Riverfront Grille' on the Cumberland River! The song says it best_ "Once in a Blue Moon, I'll do something right." 💙 We entered the marina and parked almost immediately even though the parking area was packed with other diners and/or boaters. We spoke with the hostesses and were given a pager with a wait of 40 minutes. That turned out not to be the case at all. I walked up to the bar to order (2) iced teas while we waited and saw (2) empty seats at the end of the bar and grabbed my son and told him we would 'belly up' to the bar and dine; he was all for it. Christian brought our iced teas to us immediately and menus were placed in front of us as well. We scanned the diverse and delicious selections before we decided on the honey dipped chicken/shrimp with rice (the most tasty rice that I've ever eaten)_ it was sweet but had a hint of heat too! I also had the garlic broccoli that was amazing. My son opted for the westcost wrap with grill chicken, bacon, cheese, avocado, brought together with a tasty aioli. My son said it was the best wrap he had ever tasted. 😋 Erica never let our drinks get halfway down before she was filling new glasses with iced tea and lemon; she worked that full bar and grille like a well-oiled machine! John dropped by asking if we were okay and was there anything he could get for us....🥳 Obviously we felt like the only guests in the room. The grille is an open structure with outdoor dining alike. The cool breeze coming off the beautiful Cumberland River was so nice and refreshing on such a warm and beautiful day. Our first visit hopefully we not be our last visit; we absolutely adored this new-found spot! Great job from the (2) friendly and cordial hostesses to our trio at the bar_ Erica, Christian, and John! You guys made our day more special than we ever dreamed it could be. We were so happy and full when we left there and talked about planning our next opportunity to go again soon. Thanks again guys_ you all are phenomenal. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We had a day out in Nashville with my little niece Riley today. I was trying to find somewhere fun and unique for us to go have lunch. In my search, I found Blue Moon. It was only about a 20-minute wait on a Saturday afternoon, I think we hit it just right as after we showed up, there was a huge line. To say this is a unique location is an understatement. You drive through a neighborhood and then hit a rock quarry, and around the corner, you see the marina! There is quite a bit of parking and a fun walk down to the restaurant on the docks. You can see the fish swimming around as you walk to the restaurant. There is a boat rental facility there as well. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating. We opted for In door so we didn't have to stress about the Lil one falling in the water. The atmosphere was great. The service was great. The hubs had a Bushwacker. A frozen cocktail concoction. Delicious! For an appetizer, we had the queso trio. Salsa, guacamole, and queso with chips that had a little salt and fresh ground pepper on them. The guacamole was fresh with the right amount of onion and tomatoes. The Chips were crispy, and the addition of the salt and pepper gave them a unique twist. For lunch, I had the blacked Mahi Mahi tacos with rice and beans. The rice and black beans were mixed together in a bowl, almost like red beans and rice. The fish was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The bites of fish melted in your mouth. The sauce was a great addition to the tacos. The hubs had a catfish platter. Nice big pieces of flaky fresh catfish. Fries and hushpuppies were on the side. We chose the chicken tenders for the Lil one, and the tenders were definitely fresh, not frozen ones. She had more fun with the chips and queso and then her French fries, but she did eat one of the 3 tenders it came with. Blue Moon has a Sunday brunch that I think we will go back and try! Blue Moon is a hidden Lil gem in Nashville, and we will definitely be returning. The food, atmosphere, and service made this a definite go-to! Not to mention those Bishwackers! ;)

What a hidden gem. You are driving through an industrial park and then have to walk across marine service-area ramps and then bam, you are in a riverside restaurant. Great service, great food, and right on the river with boats coming in and out. Wife commented it would be fun to watch a game there. I was assuming sports bar, fried-everything, but that was not at all the case. Only negative stated was that the crab cakes were a little bland. Shrimp and grits were great. A great experience.

Came to Nashville on vacation from Florida. Found this little gem and figured we'd give it a shot. I'm SO glad we did. Beautiful view on the water. I ordered fried oysters (first time I've ever had them) and they were delicious. Melt in your mouth, so good. I would come back just for them again. My husband had the catfish, and it was delicious all around. Our server was Rebecca and she was very quick, honest and we never went without anything. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a nice seafood restaurant

Really nice place. My only complaint was that the rice was kinda hard but besides that every was vibe especially being able to see the wild life in the water.

The view and vibes make this spot along the river a little gem in Nashville. Good food, great French fries! Perfect for a night out with friends or a date night watching the sun set. Hopefully they’ll have live music this season, but tonight they didn’t. Grateful it’s open! Happy spring!!

Nice place to grab a bite to eat over the water. Indoor and outdoor seating available (they have roll up doors to close off the indoor section). The walk over the boardwalk and boat docks adds a nice touch to the experience. Ambience was very nice, good music being played, nice views of the waters/marina. Shrimp Po Boy was great! Service was friendly. We went for a late lunch, around 3pm or so. Look forward to returning!

My husband and I were visiting from out of town, and we were trying to find somewhere outside of Nashville to eat, to hopefully avoid a long wait time. This place satisfied that. Although they seemed a little busy, there was no wait for a table, and a brief wait to put in drink orders, maybe 5 minutes. The cocktails were very good, the food was decent, and it was all reasonably priced. Loved it being open to fresh air and being on the water.

Talk about some good food. This place has a great view, excellent service and good food. The prices may be high, but you're paying for what you see. You are basically set on a peninsula overlooking the harbor. The drinks are strong. Now, I've only been here three times. And every time, the drinks come out strong. Hell yeah. HELL YEAH. If you stop by, ask for Melody. EXCELLENT WAITRESS. She gets it. She understands what a person needs without even asking. Top notch waitress.
