I was a bit weary to give it a try. It's a Caribbean themed restaurant but I didn't really see any minorities working nor in the kitchen. I had the rotisserie chicken and black bean salad. It was decent. I didn't love it but I didn't hate it either. If you're looking for some true, authentic Caribbean type of flavor then this probably would not be the place for you. If you want some fresh, decent chicken and sides then I would recommend giving it a try. They're customer service is good, there's lots of seating inside and outside, there's free parking, and they're pretty fast. I went on a Saturday and my order was up almost as quickly as I placed it.

I have eaten here one time, on Saturday afternoon. The inside of the restaurant is spacious and open. There is plenty of flexability to put tables together for larger groups. I ordered the Lucayana?sp? Salad and I loved it! Sliced almonds, tiny little oranges and really tender chicken breast over lettuce make a delicious combination. Casual dress fits in well.

Food and service was top notch! I enjoyed the lite chicken salad with sweet potatoes and a side salad. The homemade vinaigrette was some of the best I’ve ever had. Has a great selection for vegetarian/vegan food as well. Don’t skip this place!

Awesome, laid back and friendly spot! Great place for a light and healthier bite as well! Nothing really makes it stand out other than the friendly staff, but it was a solid meal!

Good food, but the jerk chicken had been "over" hyped. The sides were fantastic. It is a nice diversion from the Nashville Hot Chicken scene. I have noticed the prices have started to rise a bit as well.... Guess we all pay for higher fuel prices.

Super fast service. Chips were stale. Good flavors, good portions.

The service was great but the food was very average. It was also my first time trying Jamaican food so I’m definitely not an expert. But I found the food rather bland overall. But the service was amazing, our waiter took time and really explained everything on the menu and gave us great recommendations and suggestions.

Very tasty sandwich! Nice menu. Friendly service. But the food is what brings me back. It's a little bit of a pain to get in and out of the parking lot. But it's worth it. I recommend trying it if your in the area and need a decent healthy meal.

Good, quick food that's not run of the mill. The atmosphere is very casual and a bit "cold" and noisy. However, there was a continuous crowd of folks coming in and almost an equal number ordering our picking up take out. Young professionals and older folks. I'd go back.

Addison was really great and attentive! The food was top notch. Pulled chicken had lots of flavor, sweet potatoes were great with the coconut, as well as the corn muffins! Overall a great experience. Lots of parking too. Oh and try the Calypso bar for dessert!

I get a Lucyan Salad here at least once a week. I've tried other menu items that are as equally delicious but this salad is my favorite. The staff is always friendly, customer service seems to be top priority which is a rarity in this day & age. It makes my meal much more enjoyable when it's healthy, tasty, at the right price, & served with a smile :)

The fruit tea is fantastic. I love the black bean salad and hubby gets the half chicken. I don't think I've had much here that I didn't like. My only critique is that sometimes the rice is undercooked.

I love this place! This is a great location, but all the Calypso locations are great. I've been going to Calypso for 25+ years. Small menu, but it's all good. Jerked rotisserie chicken and frozen chocolate mousse are my favorites.
