One of those cases where not letting the outside of a location taint your judgement. Located in the backside of a Thai grocery store this lil gem will please on many levels.

Dinner here this week proved to be a enjoyable experience.  Operating out of the grocery clearly seems a bit odd at first but based on the traffic both inside and to go this is a very popular place. While not overly decorated it does boast several user voted awards and success as to their food. Health score posted was a 95.

I started with a Shrimp app (pic posted with review) the sauce was just a basic sweet and sour but had a nice little kick. The shrimp themselves were crunchy on the outside and flavorful on the inside. Not much on the price ( $8.00) and worth that cost.

Ordered up the Pad Thai chicken. ($8.00) I've had this dish several other places and the spice varies. Here it was suggested that unless you like it hot then you might add yourself from the table side dish. The server told me that the medium might be a might strong. I really liked having it that way. Soda comes in a can with a glass of ice. Service and information was great and another location I would not mind to return to.
You can check out there website for the menu and is very accurate as of this review.

Don't be expecting to walk up to a restaurant. You have to go through the market, and the restaurant is in the back right. Great food! I got the lo mein and the chicken was delicious! If you're into Thai food, this place is a must.

Very good. We are from Atlanta, and usually eat at the myriad local ethnic joints up and down Buford Hwy, as well as Norcross and Duluth.
While staying in Franklin, we headed to Antioch and dined here over the weekend, had the Pad Malaysian and Spicy Papaya Salad, as well as the King Market Sausage. Everything was wonderful. The sausage is made there, and is now one of my favorite sausages ever. The food is quite spicy, so if you're in doubt about your tolerance, order it mild. We will definitely be repeat customers.

Instant Favorite. This is a great hidden gem. Extremely reasonable prices and the food is piping hot & fresh at your table. It's an unassuming Asian market from the outside, though the dining area itself has a sorta downtown, college kid vibe to it. I arrived at lunch time on a Sunday, so the small dining area was packed. Hopefully the owners are considering an expansion.

If you're not into spicy, be sure to specifically request your food to be mild, because my friend and I ordered Pad Kee Mao & Pad Malaysian, and both by default were fairly spicy, maybe an average "2" from most Thai restaurants.

I love the atmosphere combined with the location. It's not hell to get to like anything in Nashville. I'll definitely be a regular customer.

Totally unassuming place inside a grocery store. Awesome food at incredibly reasonable prices. The pad Malaysian is unique and. The Asian to non-Asian diner ratio reflects authenticity.

Southeast Asia, Laos style. I've been a loyal customer for a few years now. Consistency, price, and atmosphere are a big reason why. Although I do prefer south Vietnamese style pho, the Laos version available here is great and highly recommended. If you're not afraid of a bit of heat, I strongly suggest the Laos style spicy sausage with an order of sticky rice and jeow dipping sauce. All in all, this little cafe is one of Nashville's best establishments for Southeast Asian cuisine.

Don't be fooled by the outside! When I first saw it I assumed I had the wrong location.Go inside to the cafe. All waiters extremely welcoming, food was fantastic (we got pad thai and green curry soup). Great hole in the wall, definitely worth the try.

Accidental deliciousness!. I was in the mood for Thai, but we're new to the area. We stumbled across King Market looking for another place. I wanted to go in because I love Asian groceries, I had no idea it also had a restaurant. I ordered the pad Thai, my BF got the dry sukiyaki and both dishes were amazing. Easily the best Thai food I've had in a long time. The server was friendly and funny! Afterward, we even grabbed some awesome snacks from the store for dessert. They can definitely expect to see more of us soon!

Great. The pad thai was sweeter than most. The basil beef and egg noodles dish was spicy and flavorful. This is probably the second-best Thai restaurant that I've had. The seasonings were excellent and the iced coffee, though too sweet, was also delicious.

Amazing find!. I wish success for this hidden gem of a find. However, I hope that this place remains hidden from the tourists and trendy locals. Incredible food along with a courteous server and low prices make this place one I plan to make a regular dining spot. The atmosphere is not fancy or trendy. It is in the back of a grocery store. Which makes it even more charming to me. I LOVE this place!

Great food and even better people!. The food was worth the hour-long drive from my home. The Larb (beef) was delicious and was the Yum (Beef -- Tiger Tears). The spring rolls were yummy, as was the green papaya salad. My daughter, a lover of spicy food from an early age, enjoyed the Pad Thai. For us, the people serving the food were as good as the food. Nina (sp?) was very friendly and helpful. If you enjoy Thai, Lao or Vietnamese food this is a great place to visit. Or, if you enjoy spicy food in general, this is a great choice.

Hidden Jewel. This resturant is located inside a food market. The food is extreamly good, made to taste personal and as full of flavor as can be imagened! It is a favorite amongst the Thai community in Nashville without a doubt. The prices are low $6-10 per entree. A must try for anyone willing to go beyond the 7.99 frozen appetizer and heavy, gut-bombing American cuisine. A unique family owned venue give it a shot!

Driving up to the market, I was skeptical reading the sign which read " International Market, 24K Jewelry & Cafe" once inside it was clean, the cafe new tables & chairs, nice menu. The food was great, ranked even with my favorite Thai. On the way out, picked up Asian desserts to bring back and share at the studio.

The sign says so -KING. This is food fit for a king. The situation here is that the Asian market has a dining space in the back with a kitchen. There is a separate cafe pay station from the the regular market. There is also another funny thing, this marke

I've read about this place for 2 or 3 years. Finally went the other night and I've been twice in 48 hours. It's so delicious! Great value. Big portions. Great flavors. Wonderful people serving the food. I'm going to work my way through the menu!

One bite and you'll see why this cafe has been a staple for Nashville Thai food for years. Friendly service and good prices inside the market.

Been coming here for over a decade. Food is mostly good depending on the chef that day. Pad Malaysian is pretty good. My wife likes the crispy noodles but I think it’s a bit bland for my taste. I’d recommend the Pad Thai. The sukiyaki was good too. We DO NOT recommend the Spicy Asian Wings. It’s frozen precooked and heavily breaded. The flavor was not that good either.

Consistently good food. First time trying the fried chicken and it’s going on the regular order now - soo good. Also got pad Thai, pad see ew, veggie fried rice, house made sausage and fried spring rolls (not pictured). Only advice is to not order everything spicy unless you want your eyes tearing. Everything was double checked before putting it in the bag and gave me the exact eta time to pick up.

We were looking for an Asian market and found this little market where you can find a Lao/Thai restaurant inside the market! The food was amazing good with authentic Lao food! Love the sukiyaki meal and the fried intestines 👍 Owner and staff are so friendly and welcoming!!

I recently visited King Market and I have to say, I was thoroughly impressed! I ordered the Larb, Pork Ribs, and Papaya Salad, and all the dishes came out in no time. The service was fantastic - the staff was attentive and friendly, making my experience all the more enjoyable. The restaurant's atmosphere was reminiscent of my past adventures in Asia, evoking a sense of nostalgia that added to the overall dining experience with the restaurant being located inside the supermarket. The cleanliness of the place was impressive, as well. The entire area was spotless, making me feel very comfortable dining there. I highly recommend King Market to anyone who's looking for great food, quick service, and an authentic atmosphere. Overall, it was a casual yet professional experience, and I'll definitely be coming back for more!

My family and I had dinner at the King Market Cafe this evening. It was a complete surprise to find such a great selection of authentic Asian menu items with excellent flavor, spiciness and freshness in a market cafe! The service was excellent and the atmosphere was tidy and comfortable. After dinner we had a chance to shop for some unique food items from multiple countries across Asia to bring home for our pantry! We enjoyed our dinner and visit to the King Market & Cafe!

The food is great and the price is very reasonable. What I love most about this place is the service. The two Thai ladies, Anna and Gig, who are a server here are sweetest and friendliest. Though it makes the vibe of the restaurant a bit off, the fact that this restaurant sits right in the Asian Grocery Store makes it super convenient for me. I can shop while waiting for the meal. Highly recommended.

I have never been to Vietnam before. But I felt like I was traveling in Vietnam while eating food there. I believe all are very authentic. Good experience. There are some other sources in the table. I don't know what they are except Sriracha and Hoisin. The Pho came as a combination of beef, chicken, and meatball.

Amazing food, authentic flavours and very good service. We got the fried tilapia, fried noodles with chicken and fried rice the food was very good. When coming here keep in mind this place closes at 7:30 (we did not know) it’s a small cafe in the grocery store hence limited seating just keep in mind.

King’s Market is made up of an international grocery store and a Thai Laos cafe. My review is only focused on the cafe. This place is a hidden gem! I love how authentic the food here tasted! I had ordered the Spring Rolls, Thom Ka, and Sukiyaki. They’re were so delicious, and the portions on the entrees were very generous. I normally eat a lot, but even I had leftovers. On a side note, the Thom Ka and Sukiyaki required a more acquired taste for this type of cuisine. Back when I was still acquiring that taste, I would order the Red Curry from here, and that dish was dynamite! No complaints about the service. My waitress took good care of me from start to finish. She quickly got me seated and put my order in. It didn’t take long to get my food and drinks out. Whenever I have an itch for Thai Laos food, King’s Market leaves me satisfied!

By far one of the best places to eat in Nashville. The best food,, generous portions, great customer service. If you order the same thing often the one girl will recognize your voice and tell you, your order, lol. Love this place!

Hands down still my favorite Laos and Thai restaurant 🥰. I have been going here for years since I moved to Nashville and now that I moved up to Clarksville I can’t seem to find one that hits my taste buds right. Been craving the Larb and Papaya salad so much I took a trip down to just have a to go order. I had almost everything in the menu in the past and if I could I would order everything 😂. I especially love the grab and go section for food so I would go in and grab the little bits of food to take home from work.

What a pleasure to find an authentic restaurant in a super market. Great flavor and taste. I have been back a second time and this time it was full. But the service was smooth, the staff friendly and the food tasty.
