17 quality craft beers on tap (when I visited) & 8 of them were IPAs. The service is top notch, great bartenders & staff. Attention to detail when it comes to glass type, tasting room layout, & awesome beer pours...no short pours or beers full of too much beer head. Can't say enough good things about their beer & people. Smith & Lentz is a must visit brewery in Nashville! Growlers & Crowlers to go too!
Adler is one of the best Master Brewers in the country. If his beer doesn't blow your mind, then you have no business drinking beer
Great spot, great beer, great vibes. We went there to escape the heat and crowds of the CMAs. And it was a great time. My group all enjoyed flights of yumminess and played some 90s board games. The staff was super helpful and gave great suggestions. One of the owners was in and you could tell he really cared about the space, his staff and patrons. Keep it up!!
Everything about this place is great, from the simple wide open tap room, with a ping pong table, to the beer. The beer! Probably one of the only breweries I've been to, where I like every one of them. Half pint, pints, & pitchers...yeah pitchers, I don't know of any other taprooms that serve pitchers...great call. They don't have a kitchen, so order some BBQ from across the street, a few pies from 5 Points, or some hot chicken from up the road and enjoy yourself.
Visited twice this past weekend. Really chill spot in East Nashville that was a quick ride to downtown and walking distance from a restaurant where we ate dinner one night. The atmosphere is great and bar staff was really friendly. I tried both the Heavy Wizard Hefeweizen and the Citra Session IPA and really enjoyed both. Will be back next time I visit Nashville.

We had our work Christmas gathering there tonight and we loved it! The staff was amazing and everyone loved the beer! They allow you to bring in food, so everyone brought snacks. We will definitely be back soon! Thank you so much for having us!
This is a great brewery to add to Nashville's list of great breweries. Hung out today with the guys and just all around cool dudes! They are the only brewery doing a classic Belgium Table Beer. Oh man is it good!! The nitro oatmeal stout is a yummy meal. I even had the Pilsner and felt like I was drinking a craft beer, and not a crap beer like a Bud.
Awesome atmosphere.. great staff! And amazing beer! And the soundtrack u guys had pumpin’ was phenominal!
As one that loves the craft beer market, I was happily surprised to enjoy so many of their brews. Typically I'm a lower IBU drinker but their Mosaic IPA was excellent as well. All said, top 3 micro in Nashville
Drink up my friend
This place is the shit. Love the atmosphere and doggies are welcome on the back patio!
Awesome atmosphere and the guys behind the bar were super friendly. The beer was delicious and they have ping pong tables. You should definitely check it out.
Jonathan and Tim were two of the best people I have ever met on this earth. They just want people to have a good time. We need more people like that in this world.
Smith & Lentz is right up there with Southern Grist Brewery for my hands down favorite brewery in Nashville. 😍🤘🏼Seriously, wayyy better than all the other breweries I've been to. Awesome selection, great quality , super friendly and helpful staff, plus PING PONG🏓 , say whaaat?? They also have a freakin ginormous tv 🖥if you want to watch the game, and popcorn. 🍻🍿
Great brewery! The Luxury Item west coast IPA was phenomenal! Low bitterness, high tropical fruit and crisp finish. Ordered the White Pizza and the Supreme. Delicious! Topped it off with the chewy chocolate chip cookie. Casual atmosphere. Clean bathrooms.
Coming from Chicago where the pizza is excellent, I was looking forward to Smith & Lentz. It definitely delivers! We had the Sausage & Pepper, Cacio e Pepper, and Spicy Margherita. All were excellent! We also loved their beers; the Italian pils was a standout. Why not five stars? The salad and appetizers weren’t a good value. While they tasted great, portions were very small given the price. Definitely skip them. But definitely go for the pizza and beer!
Best pizza with funky options in Nashville, but pricey. no slice only options so be prepared for a full za!
No wine options but beers are great. Limited parking.
update summer 23— they do have wine. robust list!
This place was wonderful. We were a large group of eight, and the server was phenomenal. Our server was able to provide recommendations for beverage and food and did not fail us. Unfortunately, I devoured my food too fast to take pictures. But trust me when I tell you the pizza (we had the pepperoni, supreme, and white) was delicious. We also tried the goat cheese with honey (highly recommend), blackberry preserves with cheese, and the anchovies with toast. If these are ingredients you like, you will not be disappointed. As you can tell, this place was an overall hit! I highly recommend!
Let's talk about the star of the show first. We had the Cheese Pie. Simply amazing. The pizza dough was so good. Perfectly cooked, crisp and tasty. It was a perfect pie!! The beer was well done and tasted great. Come for the pizza stay for the beer!
(9-3-23 update)
I swear the pizza was even better this time. It's a must stop when you come to Nashville.
Easily one of the best pizza spots we have visited in Nashville!!! The food was flavorful and top quality. The service was exceptional. Usually we have leftovers, but this time everyone was fighting over the last slice. There is definitely no need to try any other pizza spot after coming here.
Quick service, scrumptious food, and good description of the drinks on tap. Was expecting a wait on Saturday at 5, but we were sat straight away. Definitely an up and coming in East Nashville.
Wow!
Great pizza, it had me upon arrival at first smell, then at first bite, I was hooked. Great crust, toppings were blended expertly.
We had the supreme, it is approachable, pleasant blend like when you process the onions, and peppers for chili vs leaving it chunky. The blended toppings provide for a lighter feel, and full taste.
Cider was crisp and clean, lager was pleasant.
Edit: This was stop 11 in the "Jen and the BIL are in town and I'm fairly certain I'm sweating beer" tour.
They loved it. Still killer beers, good vibe, pizza looks amazing - one day I'll eat here and let you know how it was.
5 star review still stands.

Stopped in to grab a crowler to bring to my BIL in Illinois. I’d never been before but had heard good things.
Food looked dynamite but I had just eaten so next time I go I’ll eat.
Lots of lagers/Pilsener’s on the menu and the one I had on tap was delish. The Kolsch I bought in the crowler was a hit with the BIL.
Here’s the breakdown:
Nice interior space +1 star; good, crisp beer on tap +1 star; decent selection of beers +1 star; pizza that looked killer +1 star; good convo with another guest +1 star
I’ll go back
We have tried ALL of the pizza spots in Nashville and this one takes the cake for us. It's so delicious.. the pepperoni pie is hands down our favorite but they're all worth a try. You won't be disappointed. They also have great appetizers. We typically order the whipped feta!
