This is a cozy little spot for some comfort food and atmosphere which is perfect for the fall weather. We stopped here to grab a bite for a late lunch. We started with their vegetarian seared bao which was so fluffy and moist. The filling had a lot of flavor. My husband got the beef shank which he absolutely loved. The soup had a lot of flavor and the noodles had a great texture to them. I ordered the hot dumpling bowl with vegetable dumplings which were originally not on their menu but they were happy to make them. The dumplings had a lot of flavor but they were a little too spicy for me. Overall it was some good food at a very reasonable price. Do try their tiger sugar tea.

Wonderful find. Beef shank stew was delicious and saturated with flavor / spicy level was perfect for me but too much for my girlfriend . I do not eat pork and they were quick to recommend substitutes , no shade was thrown at me either because I just asked simple questions. The chicken dumplings were 10/10 just like the beef bao. I love spicy food , if you can’t handle it please ask for no spice.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. It has vegetarian options. It has all you can eat Tuesdays. It has spicy. Just a fantastic experience

Steam Boys makes fast comfort food that you can eat anytime. Soft Bao buns delicious chicken and wonderful noodles. They have a crunchy fried hot chicken sandwich served on their fluffy Bao that makes an amazing pairing. Their zha jaing noodle dish is so warming and savory I found it to be scrumptious and a generous portion. They are also one of the few places you can get soup dumplings in Nashville. They are pretty solid with a brothy filling and a good chew to the dumpling. Not the best but better than just about anything you can get over here besides Trader Joe's. Do remember the soup dumplings are dine in only. The Service when dining in can be hit or miss since they want you to sit and then come to your table. There is usually just one server and between getting the order and cashing people out it just takes forever if there is any type of crowd. Atmosphere inside is pretty low key. I'd highly recommend takeout unless you are getting the soup dumplings.

Steamboys was a great treat tonight. Super satisfying pan seared dumplings (pork and shrimp) and Seared hot dumpling bowl. The Pork and Beef seared Bao were great. Only downside was the amount of liquid trapped in the beef bao. Other than that it was delicious. The pork bao did not have that issue and were probably my favorite.

The sweetness of Thai Bubble Tea / Boba Tea could not be adjusted and had enough sugar to serve 4 boba teas of 16oz. I couldn’t get through mine more than 20%. I did ask them to adjust the sugar when ordering but they said Thai tea was premade and sweetness can’t be adjusted. However, apart from that, everything else was great and our experience was very good. Food was yum and everything we tried turned out to be good. It’s really hard to find street parking nearby and it took us 10-15 mins and some luck to find one spot nearby. Overall, a cute cafe and will be going there again.

Visited this place on a trip to Nashville from Chicago. We tried the pork and cabbage pan seared dumplings and the beef steamed bao. Both were absolutely amazing. Even the sauce that comes with the dumplings was delicious. It is a cute spot with free street parking, a calm atmosphere and great service. I would definitely recommend!

My husband and I thought the food was delicious and we will definitely be back. The waitress gave our order to someone else but as soon as they found out they corrected the error right away. 😁 The bowls are huge we shared and the pot stickers are delicious 😋🤤 It was very hard to find a parking spot but that's what happens in Nashville.

The seared boa where the best. The veggie ones were a bit simple. I also got the hot dumpling bowl and the spice def creeps up on you the first few dumplings were fine then it kept getting hotter!!

The staff are so nice and welcoming. It’s my first time here for lunch and the cashier talked me through my potential choices and helped me order based on my palate! And the food smells and tastes so good!

Yummy buns and beef shank noodle soup. We will definitely come back for more. Friendly staff and great ambiance! The only problem is the parking. We parked on the street two blocks away and were lucky to find a parking spot. I don’t know about weekends, might be hard to find one. Before we left, we found out that they offer all you can eat dumplings on Tuesdays. Steam buns and other buns are not included with the all you can eat menu. Highly recommend this place.

Instagram recommended me Steam Boys (because it knows I’m a sucker for good food) and boy was it right! The portion size to price ratio is amazing and our server was very polite in showing me the sizes of portion bowls. It’s totally being added into the restaurant rotation ☺️

Fast fresh and delicious. No need to say more then that! Love it her! Trying the Bao Chocken Sandwich for the first time… it’s absolutely incredible! One of the best sandwiches I’ve had in a while!

The soup dumplings were amazing as was the juicy pork bao. Strongly recommend this place. Parking was a hassle. But what would one expect from downtown Nashville?

Had a great experience with the dumplings and bao buns. Very delicious. Just make sure to read the description in the menu. I got soup dumplings and thought it would be soup with dumplings in it but it’s broth in the dumpling. Nonetheless, it was a great experience.

Great place for Soup Dumplings (XLB) and regular dumplings. Would love if they also served Sheng Jian Bao, but management doesn’t seem interested…

Really enjoy their hot dumplings bowl and seared bao buns. Quick service and good quality of pretty good. Not the absolute best dumplings in Nashville, but are above average for sure. I tend to like this locate - the sunlight that comes in and feel of the room is nice. Plenty of seating inside and a few tables outside as well.
