We really enjoyed our experience at this restaurant. The server was really accommodating and had a good knowledge of the menu. The food was really yummy and all very fresh. It was nice to get free salsa and chips that were quite spicy. Also, I usually do not like grits but I got the shrimp and grits and it was flavorful and came with a great amount of shrimp and was really worth the price. We also got the three dips and they were all amazing and very tasty. I would definitely recommend eating here if you are in the area.

Nice spot with a Food Court and an ongoing calendar of events. There are some clothing stores and a cell phone store. There is a bar and about 6 different food options. When we were there we saw a live band (that was really good) and some aerial acrobats. I highly recommend.

How amazing it was too meet Josh and Misty! To hear how much they care for others is amazing! I do wish their business partnership great fortune. As it seems they truly care for the community. And wow they roast a good cup of coffee! I mean wow that Brazilian was so good

I LOVE this place!! The iced Cuban coffee was delicious and the inside was super cute. What made it was the guy who operates it. He was so awesome and told me all about their unique coffee. Can’t wait to go back!

Great food, great venue and hidden gem in Nashville. Stop in for live music at lunch and nights.

The food was absolutely delicious!! Agar was a phenomenal server-- kept our waters full and checked on us often. Although somewhat pricey, really neat location and a big patio. Will be returning and hoping to have the same experience!

Amazing! Love their coffee - I roast my own so I'm super-picky -, this is not the bitter, sour stuff you get at other coffee shops! Also recommend their breakfast burrito - and Cafe Cubano, if you're in need of some rocket fuel. Delicious! Super-nice atmosphere as well!

Service has SERIOUSLY improved, props to the new manager Ulises, i went about 3 months ago and honestly my experience kinda sucked food took forever, i only got 1 refill and i was just upset with the overall experience. But this last time i went was a completely different story, my wife and kids loved the waitress (ask for the waitress from Venezuela!!). Im definitely going back!!! And im taking friends!!

The coffee is fantastic, best espresso I’ve had in Nashville, but that doesn’t compare to the warmth, hospitality and compassion show by the people inside. Thank picked us up on a rough day and gave me the best Americano I’ve had since moving here.

Madera Café is a wonderful combination of Latin American food appropriately in Plaza Mariachi. While the service isn't the fastest around, it's definitely worth the wait. Personally, I loved their sandwiches. Will come again.

I have been to Cafe Madera on several occasions and was disappointed with the service each time until today. Elizabeth was our server today and although she is new she was very attentive and prompt. If she didnt know the answer to a question she asked and gave us the answer right away. Each time I have been here the food has been good but today was by far the best. I had the blackened fish tacos which were served with a side of black beans and Spanish rice. I am picky about grilled fish tacos and these were seasoned perfectly as were the black beans. We also had the queso and salsa. Late in the meal I asked for a beer because I needed to cool off the heat from the peppers. Elizabeth brought it to me right away. I mention this because in the past I have been left waiting on my drink for ten minutes. They also had a low key guitar player providing wonderful instrumentals and landing a cool atmosphere. All in all I think The Plaza Mariachi is a fantastic place to bring friends and guests from out of town. There are several options for food, drinks, and desserts from lower to higher prices. I was pleasantly surprised with my service today as that has been my only complaint each time I have been there. Make it easy for me to part with my hard earned money and I am happy to do so in exchange for prompt service with a smile and one of Plaza Mariachi's yummy Margaritas, Palomas, or Mojitos. Make sure you stroll around and check out the shops as well as the beautiful artistry that makes The Plaza Mariachi so unique.
