Calzone was excellent. Salad greens were fresh and nicely dried. Service was great. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars was because of the flimsy cheap paper plates.
The gentlemen working at River City Pizza are very nice. They even told me where to find Spike (Snoopy's brother) at Needles Regional Museum. In the meantime the pizza looks great! It tastes wonderful! I'm very happy to support a local business! And, everything made fresh, from topping prep, to sauces, to pizza dough. I will be making this a return stop on my way to and from the bottom of California to my brother's house in Vegas. Very worth the stop!
Love this place. I travel 3 hours for a personal pizza. Well worth it. Always have sweet tea as well.
If you like real pizzeria pizza, this is the place. This ain't no fast food pizza with trash toppings and the crust is so perfect It can honestly be eaten alone. Not sure what the homemade dressing in the jar is but it's great on salads so I buy a jar on every visit.
Brilliant place, love the food grrat menu, great people. The deluxe vegetarian pizza was awesome. We are traveling, and I am so glad we stopped here. The added benefit was its right next to our hotel. They has a very nice dog friendly patio, they brought Stella water some chicken they were so sweet.
Great pizza shop...service was great. Ordered pasta. Serving beer and wine.
The pasta was al dente the Alfredo sauce was amazing and I make my own homemade this was way better. Thick but not too thick. Calazon was amazing. My son inhaled the pizza lol. I highly recommend. And I'm a food snob. Lol. Best little hidden gem!!! You WONT be disappointed! A little wait but it's all made to order and worth it!.
This Pizza place is the best to come when ur on the road. Delicious quality and best customer service I've ever have.

This place was a find! If you're looking for a good pizza place in Needles, this is it.
Our experience started off poorly. The interior was a bit of a mess with pizza boxes stacked on tables, seating was very limited for our party of 5, and two new employees made ordering harder than it should have been. We wanted a calzone but once we paid we were told it would be 45 minutes, so we changed our order. We sat down to eat not expecting much.
But then the food came.
I got the meatball sub and it was one of the best I've ever eaten. The meatballs were ok, but it's the bread and the cheese and the sauce that make it exceptoonal. The lasagna is really, really good too. I liked the pizza, but not as much as the sub and lasagna. Their sauce has a hint of sautéed onions that really sets it off, and the cheese is just wonderful.
I can also recommend the salads - the dressing is wonderful and the veggies are fresh.
I recommend takeout since seating is limited for the time being. We're definitely going here again next time in Needles.
My son's are very picky, however I ordered the Devil's Elbow and both my boys munched it down like nothing. They absolutely loved it and so did I. Really good pizza, you would be hard pressed to find another spot as good..
7/10/22 Visiting from CA. Called Hunter's, who opens at 7 am, but they don't deliver until after 11 & food would get to us after 11:45. Hunter's staff was not very friendly. Then we called River City Pizza, They deliver as soon as they open with friendly service and the meat lovers pizza was delicious! Pizza arrived by 11:05 am. :-). River City Pizza is now our to go place when we visit.
It's been awhile since I ordered some usually slice and wings. Staff was friendly and service came quick. I ordered it to go, aways have a good experience when I come by.
Food is okay, the pizza has a nice flavor. my advice just stick to the pizza. Cashiers seem like they don't want to be there, they're not rude they're just seem tired or annoyed.
Had a great vegi pizza delivered to the KOA campground in Needles. Excellent pizza and cheese bread. Great fast and friendly delivery!!!
