Hubby and I celebrated my new employment and didn’t feel like cooking…too hot outside! So yesterday evening, he thought of Chinese.
We decided on Hong Kong Buffet and this new phone was able to somehow contact the restaurant and find out the wait time!
From the moment we stepped in, I fell in love again! The food is amazingly fresh and tastes homemade! The vegetable spring rolls…slap yo mama they are that good! Dim sum, I ate 6? Topped those with egg drop soup, ladle full of a soy sauce mixture and the spicy chili oil. The thing I liked best was that I didn’t feel like guzzling water afterward. The salt amount was perfect.
Staff are so attentive and give such amazing service and it shows in every detail! I loved that there were families gathered over great food. It made me miss our kids and can’t wait to gather this Christmas.

Great selection!! Like wow! Something for everyone from the typical rice, lo mein, many many chicken varieties, all the way to fruit, salad bar, jello, fries, chicken, cookies, ice cream and more! Server's were super attentive, seated us quickly and provided drinks before we even returned from the buffet line. We went on a Saturday, 2 adults, 2 young kids, cost $34. Place had a decent number of people but never felt crowded at the buffet, just showed that a lot of people like the food if it was busy! We have a Hong Kong buffet up by us in Northern, MI and we don't have anywhere near this much variety in food. It surely was a treat!! Will return again. All food was warm and plentiful. As soon as one tray was empty they were replacing quickly.
Since it's still covid times, April 2022, they do provide masks, gloves, and hand sanitizer at the buffet line for those who want the extra protection. About 30% of people opted to glove up while most did not which was totally fine! It's personal choice, just a very nice gesture that a business offers something to that level. Great job to this business!!
We went to this Hong Kong Buffet the first day we moved here from Northern Michigan, as we had one an hour away from us. We were expecting the same quality as that one. This one is sooo much better, the food was fresh, hot, and tasty. The selection on the buffets were amazing. Something for everyone. The staff greated us the second we stepped in the door and the two young lady's were so kind. We got there at around 5pm; the usual supper hour, and it was starting to fill up after we had gotten there. Very spacious, not overcrowded at all. Very nice place to go have dinner. We love it!!
Decent buffet, they do a good job keeping it stocked but when it’s busy you may wait a bit for things like lo mein or crab rangoons. I actually prefer their take out because the food is freshly prepared.
Great, friendly, quick service and staff. A tasty assortment of various meats, noodle dishes, and dumplings considering it's a relatively small buffet.
