Not gonna lie, kinda expensive for what you get, but your dollar goes to the quality. Always fresh and yummy!
P.S. the tomato bisque is not vegetarian.
Can't beat The Loop's tomato bisque! My all time fav! It's the comfort food I crave in the winter.
Good Eats Cheap Seats. Our family usually goes to The Loop for their burgers and onion rings.
Their rings are cut big and thick and fried to a delectable golden brown. If I don't grab a few as soon as it gets to the table I am out of luck. They come with a dipping sauce, but we onion ring purists know that all onion rings need are just a little salt. Heaven forbid if you're even thinking about Ketchup!
Although I prefer my burgers to have a little moo left in them (rare to med. rare) I can't any longer due to a transplant. The Loop and Swiss burger with heavy onion is almost as good cooked well.
The Loop and Swiss is a regular post surgery meal for me. Most doctors tell you not to eat immediately after surgery, but over the years I have found that is NOT true for me.
As I am rolling in to the O.R. I ask my wife to go and grab my regular for me so I can enjoy some yummy goodness when I wake up. Every time the nurse or Doc tells me, you can't eat THAT after surgery! To which I tell them, I know what I can and can't do, and I can eat a Loop and Swiss!
Our family was disappointed when the Beach & San Pablo Loop closed. A sad day for Loop Fans!
I have 2 bad knees, I wake up in the morning walking like Frankenstein's monster. LOL
I am too young to have them replaced so I go in for what I call a 'Tune up' once a year to keep me moving.
My order is always the same and my wife knows without me even saying what to have waiting for me. What a Great Wife she is!
I also had a Liver Transplant in 2008 and the Docs were definitely against my usual post-op meal. I told them you're taking something out so I gotta put something back in don't I? They laughed and I got my usual meal. Hospital food sucks anyway!
This should say enough about how good The Loop's burgers and onion rings are, so go and try some!
Excellent Thin Crust Pizza. We went here at random one evening not knowing what to expect - but were impressed with how clean the place was, and even though I normally don't like counter-service, they do a pretty good job at The Loop - you place your order at the counter and go sit down. The pizzas are generally very high end, with lots of exotic and unusual toppings in addition to the usual suspects. My absolute favorite was the sausage and goat cheese. Overall the place has a distinctly upmarket feel to it.
Great location, great prices, good pizza!! I was blown away at the quick service we experienced because of the large group that we ate with! Great experience, we will definitely be back; I can’t believe this was our first time eating here!
$5.99 for a delicious grilled cheese and soup. Pretty great little meal. Can't wait to explore the rest of the menu. Friendly staff as well.
This establishment is home away from home... The food is DELICIOUS and the service is top rate... Do yourself a favor and pay the Loop a visit!
I craved a burger thus I returned to a place I used to frequent back in the day. They have always had tasty salads but that's not what I wanted this afternoon. Ordered it medium with fries (sorry steamed broccoli not today) and it was tasty. Nothing was left on my plate when all was said and done. The restaurant was clean and multiple trips to their sweet tea bin washed everything down.
I celebrated my nomination earlier this evening in this great restaurant. happy to tell that it was a enjoyable evening and the restaurant was no doubt one of the reasons for that outstanding evening. The waiters participated in a gorgeous way, the food was extremely good and my friends were extremely thrilled. We shall definitely visit again for more celebrations. thanks very much.
I met up with my BFF here for a lunch meeting. I had the Caesar salad and she had a specialty pizza. The food didn't take too long to get to us and my salad was super fresh! The service was great. I did laugh at the sign on the door though. Because of the Covid-19 protocols in place you need to wear a mask and stand on the designated spots provided. They decided to make their designated spots "X's" on the floor. The sign said to please stand on the "X". That would normally be fine except the tile pattern on their floor created an "X" every 6 inches! It amused me!
