Wonderful atmosphere, excellent service and absolutely amazing food! Over the years I’ve tried so many items on the menu and every single one is delicious. (If you’ve never tried their hot rock you’re missing out) The sushi is always super fresh and the rice is perfect! Hands down my favorite restaurant in town!

Best sushi in NB! The nigiri is so fresh and amazing. Hui and the staff there are always so attentive and friendly. Definitely our #1 choice.

I was able to experience the great seafood variety they had there and very delicate taste, especially the squid legs. And the sushi was really decent for one of best sushi 🍣 restaurants in town.

Always a treat to come into A Tan. Fresh fish comes in on Thursdays, and rare to be able to find Blue fin Toro. A must go to place, staff is amazing as well

I'd actually forgotten how good this spot was because it's been a while. We live in Houston and aren't in town very often so that's why it's been a bit since our last visit. However, the meal we had this past Saturday was sooo good! The appetizers were spot on and the rolls were full of flavor, fresh and filling! The presentations were nice and well put together. Two rolls and that'd be more than enough for most. Yes, they're big! My wife actually ordered 3 which was PLENTY! As good as they were I ended up having to eat one the next day on our drive back to H-town... and yes, it was just as good the next day. I was worried the rice would harden in the fridge over night but all for not. So, if you're ever in New Braunfels and feel like eating Sushi this is definitely the spot. My only dislike was that they close at 8:30. I think that's a bit early but seeing as how it's a smaller town I get it.

Went with family who lives locally and family out of town. Some had normal meals, and others had sushi. Their sushi was amazing and just as fresh as what I would have closer to the coast. Nigiri was one piece instead of the normal two. Lots of options for rolls, but I recommend the 'New Braunfels', 'Fire', and 'McQueeny'. Sake options were more limited, but the Snow Maiden was very good!
