It was our first time here,we went on a Monday and it was so much fun. I wish I can upload the videos we took of the place but it isn't allowing me. It was slow, not too many ppl, which was good, way more space to float around. I heard weekends it gets jam packed. Parking is somewhat of an issue, you can park inside( if it's available)or outside, still not far from the place. We took a some large tin can jugs for our drinks,no cans or glass allowed in the river. We got charged the day pass and float, they have cabanas there for rent as well, for large groups. But there's other small tables and chairs around there that are free, you can chill and sit around. They have an are were you can float around or just stand in the water and chill, there's a rope at the end where I guess it separates or ends that section where you can just chill...but on the other side is where you can start floating down the river. It's like 1-2 hour float. Which was so nice and chill. *Word of caution* leave your ID with the staff, that's how they know your still out there, because we tried calling them after a mini panic of where the heck we were gonna get off and no one answered. So just be on the lookout for signs. They have shuttles that pick you up at the end of river and take you back. But it's an awesome place to go and chill and drink and just relax. Can't wait to go back.
We went to Float in for the first time to their pumpkin patch.
Good concept, but it was over crowded with people.
Other than that. They had good beer, great chicken sandwich. Nice seating areas. Game for kids, picture worthy spots.
And pumpkins everywhere
First experience with this place and all around it was pretty amazing.
However I suggest getting there early. They opened at 10 but we got there at nine to get a front row parking spot. Just be prepared, if you don't get there early - you will have to park somewhat far to walk to the entrance which could be rougher with kids and lugging all your stuff.
As the day went on it definitely got very packed. However it was a great atmosphere even tho we had a 2 year old and 5 year old with us. Food was amazing (I suggest the burger and loaded fries). And the drinks were made well and strong.
Overall fantastic day floating down the river.
Just keep in mind - you can bring cans or glass Into the river - only reusable cups like yetis and kodis. But bring a big one because the float took about 1.5 hours. And I only remember seeing 1 refill station along the way and it was at the front if your trip.
Would do again 10/10
The place is beautiful. I went for the pumpkin patch and stayed amazed by the ambience. It’s family friendly. I assume you can swim but the water is really cold. Good experience
Good times with friends and family especially if you reserved a cabana. I don’t know if I‘ll enjoy being out as much if I didn’t have one. The only con is there are no parking available on site but appreciate that I can drop off my stuff then go find parking.
1st time here and I brought the family and I was blown away. The area was beautiful great place to take pictures and the staff was amazing. The customer service experience here is to notch.
