We walked in here expecting nothing more than diner food, and we're pleasantly surprised. The eggs were incredible. The hash browns were unique but delicious. A coffee was arguably pretty bad that day but forgivable. It was cool to see a bunch of stuff about Jackie being a renowned chef in Chicago. Not to mention some homemade toppings for toast like a blueberry spread and a lemon that were out of this world. Which explains why the very simple omelettes were elevated in class.

I felt as if i was eating in Jackie’s home. Absolutely amazing food and it was brought to our table the chef herself. You can feel the love she has for cooking as soon as you walk into the restaurant. We had the crepes, and two different versions of the Egg Benedict. After breakfast we headed to the back of the restaurant and got some delicious treats from the bakery. Jackie placed them in a Togo box for us explaining what each treat was. Highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for food made with love. If you want to order the chocolate bag you see on her website you must do it thru catering it is not offered in the bakery. Definitely going to order one for my next birthday!

This has all the makings of a place you'd like to tell your friends, "Oh, if you go through New Buffalo you gotta stop at Jackie's Cafe". The prices were good, the atmosphere inside is fresh with no 'funny' odors, the staff is welcoming, and the food is, well, we were hopeful. The food was just OK. It looked good, sounded good, but it lacked that special taste a chef-based cafe should have. We even tried the attached bakery shop behind the cafe and had the same experience. My wife has far better recipes at home.

What a treasure!!! Stopped in for breakfast on our way back to Wisconsin, and this place was amazing! Great coffee, absolutely incredible food, and very friendly and prompt service. I had the quiche, fruit, and spinach salad. Seriously spectacular!!! Next time we are passing through, this will definitely be on our list of places to stop. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

What a delightful find in this little town! A limited but focused menu with a charming outdoor seating space. Good sized portions without being overwhelming. The blueberry compote was scrumptious and the lemon curd was very tasty. Also ask to try the spiced pickles! I took 1 star off the service but let me clarify the staff were attentive and hustling but seemed slightly disorganized- like they were all doing different tasks instead of being focused on one thing. But don’t let that stop you from checking this place out, it is absolutely worth your time.

Don't mistake this for an ordinary diner. The food is much better and prices just a bit higher. Jackie was a renowned Asian-fusion chef in Chicago before setting up here. I had the blueberry French Toast, which was memorably good. The place is clean, bright and the menu --while not "fusion"-- reflects Jackie's creativity.

We’re food snobs and there’s not a lot of breakfast options in New Buffalo so we took a chance. Hubby got The Benito, I had the Frittata. I’ve never had eggs Benedict nor any other form The Benito was amazing! The Frittata was Amazing! The bacon and house potatoes amazing! I wish I could fit more because I wanted to try the French toast everyone was sharing! We love good and Jackie’s Cafe is legit! Delicious to the last bite!

This is such a hidden gem! My youngest son and I went to our favorite beach in New Buffalo and happen to find Jackie’s place, googling different places nearby. We sat outside, it was so peaceful. Menu is very interesting consisting of incredible dishes. if I had to separate one, it would definitely have to be jalapeño benedict! Everything we had was beautifully plated to the smallest detail. Jackie is such an outstanding chef, one beautiful lady! She was busy preparing all the food in a kitchen, however I had a pleasure to get a glimpse of this one of a kind chef! I am so happy we discovered this restaurant and we will be visiting it again soon!

This was the perfect spot for us to make a pit stop to on our way to Chicago for a weekend trip. The pricing was acceptable and the food was phenomenal. Definitely recommend stopping in. They also have a great selection of baked goods as well!

Very adorable cottage like feel, nice patio with birdhouses outside. Menu is simple with breakfast and lunch offerings. Dog friendly, offering our pooch a water dish and some treats! The smokehouse bacon is amazing and the season fritata was filling, nicely paired with a salad and fruit. My partner had the Schwartz wrap which was delicious! Very quiet, chill atmosphere.

This was highly recommended by friends. We were not disappointed. I had a frittata that had asparagus, red pepper, potatoes, and 2 different types of cheese. It came with a spinach salad and fruit. My friend had the egg Foo young on wheat bread. Jackie delivered our food. The food was absolutely delicious. The presentation was a work of art. After breakfast we went to the bakery. The chocolate chip, oatmeal cookes have a touch of homegrown cherries, that are picked out back. The blueberry bread is scrumptious toasted with butter. The koloche melts in your mouth. Plan to wait a little while, like every place the staff is short with this whole covid thing. Be patient and take a walk around the neighborhood. There is outdoor dining offered.

Very friendly atmosphere and staff. Excellent breakfast! I had the seasonal quiche during our first visit and just plain old eggs and bacon on our second. So good!!

The breakfast was very good and plentiful. Small place but service was good. I did ask for a straw for my drink. The waitress rudely said they dont have straws.

Delightful, scrumptious!! Nothing but the best service, food, and atmosphere!! A little small, but very cute close knit place! Was a bit bummed I couldn't get one of her popular chocolate bags, bit the blueberry french toast was out of this world!

Cute cafe with bright outdoor space. Food is good but due to how busy they were service was slow once we were seated at our table. $13.50 for eggs Benedict. $11 for ham and eggs. Delicious lemon curd on multigrain toast.

The food was delicious. Very cozy atmosphere. I was initially concerned about customer service, but it was great by the end of the meal.
