Best independently owned and family run ice cream shop in New Castle by far. I just had one of the best chocolate malts I have had in years!
Their sandwiches remind me of the good old fashion drive-in era sandwiches of an era gone by. Made to order exactly as you want it by the owner says it all. Obvious pride in the food they turn out shows with every bite.
Walk up window or call ahead drive up gives the consumer options. I love the fact they will be staying open until 9:00 PM for the Summer season. Work in the yard, clean up then finish the night with a good tenderloin and malt. Perfect!
First off the gentleman that works there is the nicest person I've ever met. The food is absolutely delightful. Best burgers and onion rings in town. I sometimes try and imagine how delicious a krabby patty is and I think the taste must resemble the burgers that are served here.
Wasn't sure what to think as I had never been before but I will definitely be going back. The gentleman that served us was very nice and served us even though we accidentally came after close. The ice cream was great and generous in portion size. Was very happy with what we got for the price paid.
Bought ice cream and a sloppy joe sandwich....... They was good
Great jumbo (I mean huge... two meals worth) tenderloin and onion rings! Will miss them when they close for the winter.
