Since I’ve lived in CT, my friends have raved about how New haven has the best pizza in the country. I’ve tried a few spots in the area and wasn’t the biggest fan. This changed after I had my first slice at Moderns. The dough wasn’t overcooked or super thin. It wasn’t dry, it was simple just right.

Toppings were high quality, especially loved the whole garlic and bacon pieces. Great ratio of sauce & cheese as well. The thin crust was crunchy but not super overcooked. Would definitely come back when I’m in the area.
