They are always fast and friendly. Food always delicious. Donuts just melt in your mouth. Especially if they are super fresh out the oven, O yea! They thanked us and told us to come back. We surely will thank y'all.

My kids love this place ! I grew up eating here as it was the ONLY donut shop in town… i vote for it to remain that way. No other shop has been open as long. The BEST most delicious donuts !

Wonderful neighborhood donut shop!!! The limited variety of donuts and "kolaches" are well made up for in quality and uniqueness. GIANT DONUTS appear to be one of their specialties. Available in chocolate glazed, chocolate glazed with colorful sprinkles, or regular glazed, these were the first offerings that caught my eye. Big and delicious, airy and sweet, don't miss them! In Texas, where I'm from, there is a massive Czech influence that dates back to the mid 1800s. Plus, my late mother--in-law (may she rest in peace!) was Czech, so kolaches are a thing for us. That being said, what Meches sells are not kolaches. They are closer to a Bismark than anything else. Nonetheless these soft, delicate pastries are a joy. Special recognition goes to the BOUDIN STUFFED KOLACHE. If your looking for a local cultural twist on a traditional donut, YOU MUST TRY IT!!! Warm, pillowy-soft pastry is wrapped around tender, savory boudin. YUM! Bite-sized eclairs are perfect for those of us who lack discipline but want to indulge our breakfast cravings. And donut holes are offered with a side of chocolate sauce. Really? REALLY??!!! Forget the diet when you visit New Iberia, Louisiana, and take a sweet trip to MECHES, 403 St. Peter St. You're Welcome!

I had to wait for them to finish cooking more, being it's Donut Day, but I didn't mind at all. They are the best around!!!

I loved it although I paid for a dozen glazed doughnuts and didn't realize she didn't put in my bag I'll be back again when I come back in April

Everything we had here was excellent. The Boudin Kolaches are unbelievably good if you have never had them. It would almost be worth a trip back from Atlanta just for those.
