I highly recommend the Songbird Cafe. The beignets are to die for, so light and very tasty and I also enjoyed the Lemon Poppyseed pancakes. The owner was very nice she stopped by while i was eating to make sure i was ok and refilled my water for me. Will come again when I am in the area.
Really good! Second time eating here & no complaints. The Cowboy & Tacos were really good. The banana pudding was traditionally & good. The beignets were the best of all, warm & sweet. We love their peach tea, too.
I highly recommend supporting this small, local business. My grandma and I stopped by Songbird Cafe for the first time a couple weeks ago. It was a spur of the moment decision while we were waiting for prescriptions to be filled. We were so pleasantly surprised by this little restaurant. the staff is incredibly friendly and the food was amazing! The Jerry Garcia plate was actually the first full, nourishing meal I had been able to eat since having abdominal and spinal surgery about a week prior. I went back to the counter to order their banana bread pudding to go and both my grandma and I agree that it was the best banana pudding we've ever had. We will definitely be back!
Delicious breakfest, tasty coffe.Small place but very neat and clean inside(including restrooms).some people are complaining for prices but prices are tailored to products quality which are very good.

Maria the owner is such a gem. So is her staff--everyone's so friendly, the music is always good, and the food is spectacular. Definitely a great place to go when you're sick of all the chains and want a quirky cafe. They also have Dark Matter coffee which is practically unheard of in the burbs. The former city girl in me takes so much delight in that <3

Sooooo Gooood! We ordered for pickup and I wish I had pictures to show how beautiful and delicious this food looked..........but me and husband dove in as soon as I put it on the table. I have been wanting to try this place for a while, so I ordered a few extra things. My husband loved the cowboy bowl and Applewood smoked bacon. I ordered the shrimp tacos, biscuits and gravy, and the fish po' boy. Everything was fantastic. We also ordered a bag of their in-house roasted whole bean dark roast coffee. We can't wait to try it, the beans smell amazing.The service was fast and friendly from the phone call to bringing our curbside order to the car. This place is a gem. We will be back and will bring friends and family here.
Very good breakfast, fast and tasty! The coffee was the best I have ever had in a restaurant. I came in skinny and angry left fat and happy!
