We got a special pizza and ilianos special grinder and holy cow, we will be back for sure. Crust on the pizza was nice and crispy but still soft, flavor on the sauce was very nice! The cheese and herbs on the grinder were super fresh and the bread was SO GOOD, the menu said they get bread deliveries daily from the bronx so that’ll do it. Friendly and fast service!
This is a takeout review. All food is eaten fresh in the vehicle. I ordered garlic knots, meatballs, and pepperoni pizza. The garlic knots were very good, crispy on the outside, warm and soft on the inside. The meatballs were quite good also. Simmered in sauce with flavor all the way through, tender and juicy. The pizza was good but I didn't care for the crust. Very floppy and the cheese and toppings just slid off when being picked up. I liked the sauce, just needed a firmer crust. On a scale from 0-10 I would rate this 8.1.
What a great pizza! The flavor was fantastic! The owner was a very personable guy...very friendly and made anyone that came in feel welcome. Would suggest you go there if in the area.
I went in for just a salad and was given a sample of a pizza , it was so delicious that I wound up ordering a slice of pizza with hamburger on it lusious l for got to mention I am not a pizza kind of girl and the salad was like going into a garden and getting all your favorite veggies plus tons of cheese and olives oh yes and the garlic dressing was like nothing I had ever had!!! The service was also very friendly! Try it your going to love it!
I had never tried this place but I was picking up an order for DoorDash and the guy working the front (I didn’t catch a name) gave me a slice. I didn’t even mention that I hadn’t tried their restaurant. Not only was it SO good, but definitely reinforced that classic Italian “everyone is family” mentality! I will definitely be returning as a customer next time!
This is one of the best pizza places in the state. A satisfyingly velvety crust is crisp to hold the pizza firmly together, but also snaps and breaks clean if you want to make a taco of your slice. Delicious.
I got a HUGE meatball sub. Good thing it was absolutely delicious, I had leftovers twice. The meatballs were hearty and of perfect texture, the bread was fresh, bouncey, yummy and hefty- it was stuffed and did not fall apart. The sauce is absolutely amazing and one of a kind. In fact, a woman came in and bought just sauce and garlic knots.
I pick up here often for Uber Eats and now that I've had a taste for myself, I'll be back for more.
