Fantastic meal. No wait on a Sunday night. Great service. Will definitely be back next time we are in town. I am not a fan of boiled greens ( with the steak) and should have subbed for something else... but wow, get the key lime pie. It is one of a kind and i was glad i still had room for it... probably because i skipped the greens. It is amazing!

I had an absolutely wonderful time here. The food was super delicious, and the service was fun, friendly, and spectacular. Best of all, though, is the rum selection!🥃🥃🥃 I got the top tier flight, and all my questions answered. I'm a bit of a spirits enthusiast, so this was a real treat! Absolutely delicious, and it was fun talking to the bar tenders about them. I recommend pairing high-end rums with the banana bread pudding. Trust me.

I have visited the Rum House twice, while visiting New Orleans. During my first visit I was blown away by the wonderful tapestry of menu selections of tacos. The second visit did not disappoint. I’d recommend giving this a place a try, and be forewarned if you ordered the nachos bring at least 2 to 3 others.

My new favorite place. Great food, fun atmosphere, and attentive staff. The Damn Good Nachos were loaded perfectly with plenty of toppings and lime cream and more than enough to share. We had 5 in our group and still could not eat them all. The tacos were delicious and I like the variety. My favorites were Drewbrees and Calypso Beef. However the others were great too. I went with the Rum House Punch and loved it.

Randomly popped into here as we passing by yesterday and very glad we did. We shared the 4 taco combo, loved the flavours and the food was wonderful! My taco of choice is the steak flank one! Mac and Cheese didn't disappoint either. Really well priced.

We arrived around 5pm on Tuesday and the place was packed. We had to wait 20 minutes for a table, but we could wait in chairs at the bar. The food was excellent. We had several tacos on soft shell corn tortillas. We also enjoyed a mango avocado dip with corn chips. The service was not great. Our waitress was slow to return to our table when we wanted to order more drinks or food.

Unique flavors I haven't seen anywhere else. While most of the restaurants in the area are offering cajun/creole food, Rum House offers something entirely different! The mojito I got was one of the tastiest mojitos I've ever had, and the food was pretty on-point, too. I got 3 tacos--there are about 15 you can mix and match--and each one was delightful! I get the impression the place is always busy. My friend and I showed up around 2p on a Monday, and even then, it was SUPER busy, and we almost couldn't find a seat, so I can only imagine what it's like during peak meal times. The prices are a little on the higher side, but compared to all the other restaurants in the area, the prices are pretty comparable.

"Bring me more Rum!" And they will, lol The Rum House was so much fun and have a fantastic cocktail menu. Their food is nothing to pass over either. A wonderful mix of Caribbean and Cuban food. As you can tell from the pictures we almost ate it all before we remembered to take pictures. It's full of bold flavors. The seasonal cocktail and Rum punch where wonderful too! Would love to go back for drinks with friends.

I got the Taco Trifecta with the green Chile chicken, jerk chicken, and Calypso beef tacos. These were SO good!! I especially loved the Calypso. The French fries were also very good! I'd love to go back one day and try some other dishes.
