Wow simply wow. Business dinner. Large group. Impeccable service (Lachlan). Delicious appetizers, specifically the oysters, main dishes, specifically the shrimp grits and filet mignon, and desert, the chocolate bread pudding. Great location in French Quarter. Spacious seating. Meaningful decor. Perfect lighting and festive music . Clean bathroom.

When we made plans to celebrate Thanksgiving in New Orleans we read that avoid bourbon street at all cost unless you are going for the first time. Since we were here for the first time, we went. This restaurant is on Bourbon st. Food and service were fabulous. While we forgot to take the pictures of our appetizers I would highly recommend Alligator Boudin Balls,Roasted Beets,BBQ Oysters. Restaurant never rushed us to finish our food so fast, which is what we like. We order our main course after our appetizers. We like to spend family time when we are having dinner together especially with grownup kids, who lives in different state/ cities. For our main course we had Crispy Catfish,Shrimp Creole,Aji Chili Honey Glazed Chicken,Blackened Tuna . Shrimp so tender, tuna melt in your mouth, catfish was absolutely delicious and so was the chicken. Portions were big, and we could not finish the whole thing especially after the amount of appetizers we had. Since it was our first night in Louisiana, we had to have traditional bread pudding. Restaurants bread pudding offers ice cream, I would recommend ice cream on the side, so you can pour the hot chocolate sauce on the bread pudding. If you take ice cream on top and pour the sauce on it , the bread pudding part was dry. Delicious but dry.

Our food was excellent. I had the shrimp and grits with the beef debris. It was delicious but there was only 5 small shrimp a little bit of beef. I mentioned that I loved the beef to our server and he brought me more! It took a long time to get our food, but it was worth the wait even though the portions are a bit small. Overall I would recommend going here but I'd like to see them be a little more generous with the portions.

Ike took care of us from start to finish. He knows the menu in detail. We had shrimp 🍤 and grits. He added bread and our glasses were always full. The meal was good but not hot. When we mentioned it to Ike, he took it right back and brought it back HOT 🔥. This is a fine place for good local food.

This is a wonderful place! I was on a tour which started here. I couldn't have been any more pleased. Their gumbo was very good and their hurricane drink was made very well! I also really love the decor there.

Frank was warm, well spoken, polite and made us feel comfortable! I love how when we would compliment our food he would say thank you by representing the pride he has to work there! Food was amazing but he made our experience the best!

Smaller menu tends to mean better food. I had the redfish, swordfish, crab platter, and shrimp and grits rounded out the table. I thought my redfish was a little under seasoned and dry, everyone else loved their dish. Also had the BBQ shrimp and BBQ oysters for appetizers. Both were good. Kid friendly place just barely on Bourbon Street.

We popped in for dinner on a Saturday night and were able to snag two seats at the bar for dinner. We loved the atmosphere and were even treated to a second line marching by during our visit! The restaurant is classy and clean with fun fish decor. The food was excellent! I had the Aji Chili Honey Glazed Chicken with tri-color baby carrots, pork and beans, and cornbread. So much flavor! The cornbread was incredible! My husband had the Land, Gulf and Grits and was equally impressed. A sleeve of bread was only $2 and it’s a nice compliment to the meal. We shared the Double Chocolate Bread Pudding (with ice cream) and it was PHENOMENAL!!! We wish we hadn’t shared! Steve was our bartender/waiter and, while he was super busy, he was attentive to us and kept our drinks full. So glad we listened to the ‘Beyond Bourbon Street’ podcast and ate at this gem during our visit!

New Orleans is a town for foodies. I am still looking for that essence of this wonderful destination. This restaurant owned by the Brennan's it quite the spot. Service was excellent with a very polished and attentive waiter who knew his menu perfectly and was happy to share and guide us through our orders. Drinks were great, food was fresh, served hot and nicely seasoned. I ordered their signature redfish dish with crabmeat and was very impressed. Tasty crab atop a beautiful redfish filet atop a bed of their seasoned potatoes. I had a very nicely prepared salad with local tomatoes greens and feta with a tangy dressing that was a great appetizer. Double chocolate bread pudding to end was quite tasty. Next time I will order coffee too. My guests were equally pleased with their meals which looked equally fabulous. All said... Make your way down Bourbon Street and enjoy!

Melanie, who was our waitress was very kind, helpful, and very attentive. The atmosphere was nice and the food was outstanding. I don't leave a lot of reviews but I'm definitely going to start now. We had the raw oysters, wood grilled redfish, and their shrimp creole.

Not sure how this works but I’d like to nominate FRANK as waiter / serviceman of the YEAR ✨🎉❤️‍🔥. We had an amazing experience at Red Fish Grill. 10/10. TRY : the starter BBQ oysters ( not what you’d expect ), the signature wood grilled red fish dish, the double chocolate bread pudding and my favorite drink was the Bourbon Peach Car. We also had Kamikaze shots … 10/10. To Frank .. from the pink shirt ladies .. we enjoyed your presence. TY for hosting us ❤️‍🔥

Food was very good. The drink was also excellent. Service was exceptional and ambience just right. The wait was long. However, we decided to go to the bar and have a drink while waiting, very nice partof the restaurant. We ended up having dinner at the bar which is a great experience because we get to see how the oysters were shucked. Moreover, we got to meet very nice people that made our day. Definitely, highly recommended and will be coming back.

The food, service and atmosphere were great. The grilled redfish topped with crabmeat was flavorful and cooked perfectly. We also enjoyed the warm chocolate breading pudding which was decadent. Ari provided exceptional service and made all of our dinner choices by suggesting her favorites and none we’re disappointing.
