At first sight, this appears to be an upscale restaurant with high prices. Don't be fooled. This is an affordable place with great food. We had dinner in the courtyard, which was so cute. The seafood gumbo was delicious and was served with a Caesar salad . Their Muffuletta is served warm and with pastrami instead of mortadella. They offer the sandwich in whole, half, or quarter sizes. Service was outstanding.

My guide on a walking tour recommended Napoleon House to me. I had the boudin sausage appetizer, the quarter muffuletta, and cassata for dessert. Everything was delicious. My server, Bobbie, was friendly and attentive. All the staff members I spoke to were very nice. It was a wonderful experience to have lunch at your restaurant.

This place was amazing! I had the Cesar salad and the turkey club but the absolute best was the spinach artichoke dip. Absolute best!!

It is a charming restaurant with great food and atmosphere. I had delicious cappuccino and a muffuletta that is now the benchmark for comparing all future muffulettas! I highly recommend this restaurant!

The atmosphere was exactly what I was looking for. I sat at a table in one of the doorways and people watching and listening to music from a talented young man with the sun beaming down on me. I also got to watch A awesome gathering by people celebrating a 90 year olds birthday in style. It was perfect and the staff were very professional. Thank you for the experience!

The Sazerac with absinthe was fantastic and the red beans and rice were the best I’ve ever had. A must stop if you are n the French Quarter

Many people told me this was the place to go for the best Sazerac in town, and I can say it is truly the best I have had anywhere. Keith is a fantastic bartender, and the bar area customers made this out-of-towner feel welcome and right at home, so much so that after just have been once the day before the bartender remembered my name. Keith, the bartender, and Keith, the retired attorney/bar patron, along with those Sazeracs go down as some of my favorite things about my trip. Santé!

I think they have the best muffaletta in New Orleans. Love the history and atmosphere of this place!

Seating inside and courtyard seating outside. Great food, enjoyable staff and reasonably priced. Ask about the history while you are there.

My daughter married her fiancee at the Napoleon House in the banquet room on June 16, 2018. She wanted a true New Orleans wedding. The food and drinks were delicious, all the staff were professional and friendly. The beauty of the decor with the fireplaces, candeliers, and the historical atmosphere required minimal wedding decorations on our part. The perfect place to hold an event and walk out the balconies to take in all the festivities of the French Quarters!

Great place We weren't trying to find it . But wow we stuck gold. This place has atmosphere and friendly staff. Inside they have an outside area with heaters so you can enjoy the air but be inside. The food came out fast and the portions are huge!!!!! For the price you are making out with a steal. It's interesting because it seems French from name but mostly Italian food. The alligator sausage is sooo good.. the shrimp and lobster 🦞 roll is large and delicious.

The food is fantastic, the service was wonderful, and the setting is amazing. The decor, the architecture and the visible patina, and mystique of the building all contribute to a very flavorful experience. If you have the opportunity and the stomach to explore its darker haunts, you will have a richer experience still. This is one of the more haunted buildings in New Orleans and even if you don't believe in that sort of thing, viewing the hidden former slave pens upstairs, in the dark, will send a chill through your bones. Tred lightly, if at all.

Delicious food and big portions. The patio in the middle is nice for a good evening. Both, the sandwich and salad with muffuletta were spectacular.

Hit this historic joint and it was amazing. Loved the Muffuleta, I only did the quarter and it was perfect. All the meals are very good and the service was great. Our server never left us waiting and meals were quick to be tabled. I definitely recommend stopping in and enjoying the history as well as the food!!!

Worth the wait! We had to wait in line to get a seat for lunch on a Monday. We didn't wait more then 15 mins before we got seated. The menu has lots of wonderful options ranging in price for all budgets. The food was so flavorful! We got 5 sandwiches and non of them was bad. It also came out quickly. The staff was fantastic and on top of everything. The chairs are a little uncomfortable but the atmosphere is wonderful. Love see the history and the art all over the walls. Can't wait to visit again!

There are so many places that you have to visit when in NOLA and this is one of them. It’s full of history, charm and good food. The shrimp Po’ it is dynamite! The muffuletta sandwich is huge, definitely a shareable sandwich. This is another must have.

Great foods! Incredible drinks! Astonishing vibe! Cool crew! This a historic landmark and definitely needs to be on the to do list when visiting New Orleans. We had hot steak poboy, italian garlic bread, Jambalaya, and rice and beans. The food was really tasty and flavorful. Lots of local beer to select from and Delicious cocktails. Serve time was pretty fast! And the price, reasonable.

We had a GREAT visit for lunch and loved everything! Service was prompt and attentive. My kids enjoyed everything! We got a few sandwiches and have them all cut in to 4 pieces so we could all try them. My wife and 3 girls were all nervous to try the alligator sausage po-boy but then said it was delicious (which it was amazing). I loved the mufalatta, it was warm which I’ve only ever had a cold one. The roast beef po-boy was top notch too. The Italian cheesy bread was🔥🔥🔥!!! The red beans and rice were so good! All said and done with tip we were right at about $12 a person, no drinks or alcohol.

This experience didn't quite live up to the hype, but it was still good. The courtyard isn't as luscious and green as most of the Google photos, nor were there white tablecloths on fancy tables. The Muffaletta was very good though, and I loved the Pimm's Cup flight. My husband got a Poboy and said that it was very good as well. Our waiter was super attentive though, and food & drinks all came out very quickly. I think the interior of the restaurant would actually have a better vibe than the courtyard, with all the dark wood tables and pretty floors.

Delicious food - all around. We are from Chicago and could not believe how affordable everything was, while not sacrificing on taste. Highly recommend! Went back, again, 12/22 on our way back from Disney. So, delicious!

We stopped in for an early dinner while walking the French quarter. The muffaletta was amazing. The Napoleon house salad was terrific. We each had a Pims cup which was delicious. My wife loved the bread pudding. On top of which dining in the old building with so much history was really cool as well. If you are able to stop in not during rush hour it is definitely worth it. During peak times I would opt for a reservation or call ahead.

Omg. The food is so amazing I almost proposed to the chef. Kevin, the server, is amazing and on point. Joey the host was kind and make sure my friend and I were comfortable and well taken care of. You couldn't ask for better service anywhere. The food was amazing and delicious. The Boudin Sausage appetizer is amazing and I seriously want to take a bath in the Steen's Mustard that it comes with. The alligator po boy is worth killing for. And the chocolate cake is worth dying for. The jambalaya and red beans and rice made excellent dishes to split.

The food was amazing. The bread was so soft! This was the only muffuletta we had and the only one I will have it was so good. The pimms flight was delicious it doesn’t taste like alcohol and it’s also not super sweet be careful! I’m so glad we stopped!! And we got a birthday treat!
