Before I left New Orleans, I wanted a Po-boy. I grew up in Louisiana and am very familiar with Po-boys, but this was my first time at Mahony's Po-boys & Seafood. They offer both outdoor and indoor seating, and it gets packed really fast. Luckily, I was able to snag a seat outside and ordered the Fried Pickles, a fully-dressed Fried Shrimp Po-boy, and a Bloody Mary. Let me tell you, the Fried Pickles ALMOST stole the show because they were really good, but my Po-boy delivered because the bread was everything it needed to be and more. In my opinion, the bread is what makes or breaks a Po-boy, and I was happy. Although they offer an array of other foods and drinks, I went with a purpose and wasn't getting sidetracked by their other food choices.

We came here on a food tour and it was so good we had to come back for a full meal. Amazing, authentic po-boys. We had the roast beef and the short ribs and they were both delicious. Laid-back friendly atmosphere, great drinks and great prices. Definitely not to be missed!

Servers, manager, and bartenders are all super friendly. Got the shrimp remi and onion rings. Both are award winners and well deserving of the title.

Visiting New Orleans and had to have a good Po-Boy. We found Mahony's and truly enjoyed ourselves. The service was quick, and everything we tried was tasty. The onion rings were a highlight, and the shrimp Po-Boy was perfect. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent place to grab some dinner. Staff is friendly and attentive. I ordered the etouffee fries and they were delicious. The fries were crispy and hot. Lots of authentic local choices here.

Friendly staff, very helpful with menu suggestions. They have two different locations. Both indoor, outdoor (and bar) seating options. Street parking. We went for happy hour (of note some menu items get swapped during this time). The fried green tomatoes were our favorite.

Needed a place for lunch today and this place was the choice. I had the Catfish Pontchartrain and added a side of seafood rice. The fish was cripsy and the shrimp sauce was hot and full of flavor. 10/10 Will definitely be back....Staff was friendly and attentive the whole time.

Onion rings were amazing! Hubby loved the twisted snowball… only place we could find one in the area. Crawfish Monica pasta was so good- best crawfish we had during our stay. Hubby got the Po boy peacemaker- so big he couldn’t finish. Loved it! Great service- drinks were good also.

Were took advantage of the happy hour items and they were ok. The po-boy bread takes some getting use to. It will stand up to ANY topping and you need gravy or a lot of sandwich spread. My shrimp tasted salty but my guess is that is how they season food in New Orleans.
