Firstly we wanted to check Sylvain but the kitchen was closed at that time. the receptionist told us the chef went to Longway Tavern. That’s how we came here. Every dish on the menu we tried is mind blowing. They use spices from all over the world and combination of ingredients out of our imagination to create dishes. We came back again the next day - twice in our only two-day stay. Dishes are not big, shareable size and delicately arranged, pairing with their abundant drinks, definitely a must have! Recommend you all go before it’s getting too hot to book. $199 for one of everything on the menu.

What a great addition to the area. A relaxed, casual-yet-fancy vibe is the perfect setting for classic cocktails (with occasional tweaks and flourishes) and delicious small plates (radishes and calamari are unique and excellent!). Happy hour drink specials are reasonable and I can't wait to come back to try all the food. Definitely a contender for new neighborhood hangout spot. Check it out!

Was looking for great food during tales of the cocktail and it didn't disappoint. Their menu, while small, offered a great selection and I was happy to order a few different small plates that would keep me going through the afternoon drinking. The florodoro gin drink was light and refreshing, while the calamari had great cruch paired with the roasted tomatoes, lemon and chard. Definitely will come back, maybe at night when the courtyard will be cooler than it is now.

Loooooooved our dinner at Longway Tavern. We were sorely tempted to order everything ($199) but our eyes were bigger than our stomachs. We opted to split three dishes and a dessert. Last night we went to Longway Tavern on Toulouse near Royal in New Orleans before a show. Everything was delicious! The sazerac was small but delicious. Fried Squash with BPK wing powder + ranch was spicy but mellowed out by the tangy ranch. Home Fries with pork belly, creme fraiche, caramelized onion, chives, and caviar was mindblowing. The English Peas with cauliflower cream, country ham, and crumbs was creamy and fresh. But the star of the night was the Corn Cake with fresh apples + preserves, milk + honey panna cotta, marcona almond + pistachio. Absolutely amazing. Service was great, albeit slow (95 minutes). Next time we will plan accordingly!

Absolutely excellent food and service. Ordered the "feed me" and it was a parade of flavor. Was recommended by a local and we were not disappointed!

Great food and cocktails in the quarter, no reservations required. Don't miss the salmon confit with cucumber. Very attentive service at the bar and in the courtyard. Food is very sharable - great for groups.

Longway came recommend by a Master Sommelier and his team back home... They exceeded all expectations. The space is the perfect size. The vibe is welcoming clean and friendly. Drinks.... Beyond good. Trust the staff... Tell them what you like flavor wise, sit back and get your mind blown. The food... Well let's just say it won't be long before you can't get a table here. Simple but elevated, clean flavors that will make you want to break the rules and lick the plate like you are an ill mannered toddler. An absolute MUST in NOLA!

Excellent cocktails. Small area inside but it opens up into a nice courtyard. Bartenders need to improve on attivenes at the bar. Use the "first come, first served" rule. Update: Get the Greena Colada Update Oct 2020: Improved service, and the cocktails have always been good.

Incredible food, great service, beautiful indoor and outdoor seating in one of the oldest buildings in one of the loveliest, oldest, and well-preserved sections of the French Quarter...it is refreshing for a local who normally avoids that part of town (thank you, Bourbon Street, just wayyy over drunken street brawls) and definitely has that refined, historical feeling and beauty that made the Quarter a perennial destination long before breasts, beads, and frat dudes rolled in. This place is worth frequenting often, and as a longtime resident of this city, I don't say that often.

Truly inspired mixology meets top-notch food and a laid-back atmosphere in the heart of the Quarter... prepare to be ruined.

Finally someone that knows what to do with a fennel bulb! The pork was absolutely perfect. How do you describe a calamari that doesn't leave you bored in the bites? I am glad to have you in the neighborhood.

Just found this place and its my new favorite spot! The savory donut holes absolutely blew my mind and their upside down ice cream cone for dessert was playful and perfect. Staff was attentive and kind. We dined outside and it began to drizzle, staff hurriedly adjusted the umbrellas for us without us asking and we had the perfect New Orleans evening. Their cocktails are also incredible!

All I can say is wow. This place is a little piece of heaven. Everything we tried was delicious, from the Grits with Red Eye Gravy, the Bread and Butter, and the Caesar Salad to the Steak Sandwich and the cocktails. Our bartenders Ellie and Nick were on point the entire night making sure we had anything and everything we need, not to mention mixing up delicious cocktails on the fly to fit the palates of our party. I highly recommend a seat at the bar with them. I can't wait to go back!
