I had a decent time here. The music and atmosphere were good. It was one of the more relaxed bars I went to on bourbon street. A lot of the other bars were unbearable. I’d come hang out here again if I had the opportunity. The bartender was pretty cool. I forgot her name to be completely honest but she had some piercings and tattoos. Really cool personality and she kept up with the flow of the bar no problem.

Always love this bar. Has a riding bull inside which always brings great enjoyment to watch! Draft Bottles are super cheap here. Also has an upstairs which overlooks Bourbon Street and is relatively clean!

Typical Bourbon Street nightlife bar. We popped in to grab a few drinks and shots. It gets really busy so you have to fight through the crowd a bit. Upstairs was much more chill of a vibe so we hung out up there and went out on the balcony to look out over Bourbon.

Other than the shooter woman calling me old, we had a good time! P.S. she stayed away from me the rest of our trip lol

I wanted to say THANK YOU for hosting our event Friday March 8. Honestly, my expectations were to walk into a bar and have people order drinks. I figured it would be a blank slate and we would throw some beads. Not so... I dealt with Sharon through the whole process and she was so quick with her responses and was super easy to work with. Y’all set out tables, with linens, and adorable little centerpieces! It was so unexpected and meant so much! Such a seeet gesture. The balcony was huge and was more than enough room for our guests to throw the beads we ordered. And that security guard was on point! Thank y’all for being so easy to coordinate with. It truly was a pleasure and it kicked off our wedding weekend in a great way!

This place had a lovely atmosphere. Awesome choices of Country music downstairs, while good choices of pop music played up stairs. Don't be a chicken, get yourself on that mechanical bull for a once in a lifetime experience. Gotta give some shout out to the roof top area too, it is the perfect place for the iconic bead throwing you come to expect on a busy Bourbon St night. 10/10 would Cowboy again.

Had an absolute blast here when in town for a convention. The mechanical bull was fun to watch (no I didn’t ride it) and the MC was hilarious. The hurricane drinks will kick your butt so be careful. Great location in the heart of Bourbon St.

Wasn't going to stop in as I'm not much for country music, but I needed to wait for someone and the barker encouraged me to get in and stay warm. Great band with good music, found myself having a good time and had a beer while I waited and listened to some great music.

I had so much fun at the Bourbon Cowboy! You can ride the bull or just hang out and listen to this guy on the microphone ranking everyone out! They've got great deals on drinks and even had 3-fers the night that I was there! They also had some well-endowed women selling shots. We had a blast!

Our stay in New Orleans wouldn’t have been the same if we didn’t come across the Bourbon Cowboy. From our bartender Maegon, the entertainment Jeff D, the DJ, security, the bull riding host, to the other patrons, it made our trip memorable. Drinks were cheap, bull ride was hysterical (yes if you tip well you will ride longer and you can also make sure your husband falls off instantly). This is a must go place if partying on Bourbon Street. Great people!

We went in this bar solely for the mechanical bull and loved every minute of it. There was a big group of us that all took turns and everyone agreed it was an awesome experience. It cost $5 per person and you have to sign a waiver but once that's out of the way, up onto the "bull" you go. The announcer was funny and he got everyone to cheer me on while I gave it my best shot. The girl before me fell off in the first 10 seconds or so and they let her give it a second try, which was really nice. Overall there was no judgement just fun, which is everything you could ask for from a public bull ride in a bar. Yeehaw!
