Was in Nola for a week, came here 4 times for breakfast!!! Best breakfast ever! Had the lemon custard crepe, breakfast sandwich, fries with aioli sauce, and these puffed up pastries (can't remember the name they called them) that came with dipping sauces and powdered sugar. So freakin good. Highly recommend this place. The service is fast and the staff is nice. Wait time varied depending on what time and day you go. The longest we waited was an hour but so worth it!!

The brisket burger was the best tasting burger I've ever had. Superb!! My favorite breakfast/brunch spot hands down. If you haven't been there, you have to try it.
The place is small but super cute. We had the toast with prosciutto & honey and it was delicious. The bacon, gruyere and spinach omelette was one of the best I ever had and the biscuits and gravy were yum. The fruit was fresh and the grits were nice and creamy. We will definitely be back.
I recommend trying the aebleskivers - they are kind of like a Yorkshire pudding - everyone enjoyed what they had except the Nutella crepe had too much Nutella. Friendly service - go check it out!!!!
This place was incredible! We went on a Sunday morning before Jazz Fest, and the festival was delayed due to torrential rain, which seems like a make-or-break time for a restaurant. But Toast killed it! Even with an hour-long power outage during our visit, the service was great and the food was amazing. This place is a true gem.
Best potatoes for breakfast I’ve ever had. Period.
The hangar was on point, crepes tasty and sweet, and the butter waffle was magical.
Super delicious food + friendly staff + cozy + funky + unique + great prices + high quality ingredients + nice touches like crispy green salad with amazing vinaigrette dressing + beautiful presentation. OMG try the fried chicken with waffles & cayenne butter.
My boyfriend and I have been looking for a perfect lazy breakfast spot that we can make ours and I think we found it! Toast had more options than we could chose from at once but what we did have was fantastic and we can't wait to go back!!!
I wish I had found this place eatlier in my stay in NOLA. I love the vibe of the place and the staff. Beside that - the food is realy good.
Excellent everything! Maybe the best breakfast I’ve ever had! Waffle are phenomenal. Coffee is delish!
Toast has become a place my boyfriend & I frequent extremely often. The food is always top notch and consistent. And the staff is so extremely friendly and welcoming. They recognize us now and we are always warmly greeted when we walk in the door. If you haven't been to Toast yet, I highly HIGHLY recommend giving it a try. You will NOT regret it. There is normally a wait time on Sunday mornings, but don't worry you'll be seated in a very timely manner because they are extremely efficient. So do yourself a favor, and try Toast ASAP! ❤️❤️❤️ Nothing but love for this place
Sooooo good!!! I am from out of town and found out about it from someone I follow on Instagram who is constantly eating here so I figured I would give it a shot. Couldn't be happier with my food and service. It was delicious and different. I will definitely recommend and will visit again when back in NOLA.
My best friend I was looking for a place to eat she went on yelp. Reviews was good and we went. Great service and great food. Chicken and waffles Outstanding

No wait. Quick and friendly staff.Waitress was super nice to my little girl and helped her pick out her own meal. Fresh food. Will be back soon.
Great menu! Very busy restaurant. We were given a 30 minute wait but it turned out to be less than 20 minutes. It's blazin' hot inside but despite the heat and the crowds, the staff is very friendly and very attentive! Everything we ordered was perfectly delicious!!!! Can't wait to go back... in the fall!
It was exceptional! The atmosphere, the food and the service was really great. It truly felt like home. A unique dining experience indeed. I will definitely be going back. Do yourself a flavor and pass on through!
The food was extremely tasty and exceptionally original! The eggs were cooked as they were ordered and the grits were so savory. The Aebelskivers were the best part. A pancake pastry that came with your choice of a dipping.
The restaurant had an original and home feeling to it. Our server, Nancy was very attentive and welcoming. The parking on the outside was a little tricky as you had to park either in the back on a side street or on the street in the front. However, nothing as expected as you would for any other New Orleans original restaurant.
Overall, extremely happy and satisfied with this experiences. Nothing to start your day off right, then with a breakfast place like this. High recommend coming here for breakfast when you’re in Nola!
Dishes ordered: (1) Classic Breakfast with Toast (2) Aebelskivers with Syrup (3) Omelette with Ratatouille, Goat Cheese, & Spinach with an extra side of Grits with Cheddar Cheese.
Absolutely delicious! In town for a conference and decided to venture out. It was definitely worth it. Best meal we've had on the trip so far and this is our 3rd day here. I'm a breakfast person so this was excellent 👌
We wanted a table for eight on a Saturday morning which was a big ask, but - as with everything on this trip - they smiled and found a way. We sat outside on a warm October day and appreciated the about extensions which kept the sun from being unpleasant. Service was efficient and pretty fast, without being at all pushy. Our server was all smiles and happiness, which was lovely. The coffee was Joe - it was ok and I've had a lot worse. The OJ was fresh and the member of our group who chose an Irish coffee said it was a little long on whiskey, which is hardly a criticism! Two of our party ordered the brisket burgers, which were so wonderfully thick that they were a*little* overcooked on the outside to get the correct temperature internally. Next time, we'd probably order one step cooler. The eggs were poached to absolute perfection and the bread is good. I bake a lot and I'm *very* picky about bread, so "good" is high praise.
We will definitely be back.
We had really nice breakfast here. Staff was nice and friendly. Food was tasty, portions and prices were fair.
First time visiting and it was a good experience, fish was hot and seasoned well, grits and eggs needed salt and pepper but I feel like that’s standard with restaurants. My husband enjoyed his simple meal waffle eggs and bacon and the aebleskivers with caramel were the highlight. Mimosa with pineapple was a little bitter but the server warned me about that overall it was a good dining experience.
Espresso martini is by far the best I have had. I also enjoyed the Irish Coffee. Sending a special shout out to our bartender Tara. Beautiful spirit and excellent drinks. Our server Lydia provided excellent customer service and was very attentive. Shout out to the Cooks Brandon, Eddie, and Darren. The food was on point!! The aebelskivers (puff pancake) w/ lemon curd had just the right amount of sweetness, and the tang of the lemon curd complimented the puff pancake perfectly. The omelette w/ ratatouille and goat cheese was legendary. By far, the best omelette I've had. The catfish was crispy on the outside and nice tender on the inside. This is definitely the breakfast go to spot in Nola!!
Oh man! This is our last stop before going back to NY and the food is glorious!
Servers are friendly. The place gives you the local vibes and we love it.
Highly recommended
Absolute gem of a find. There were a lot of places to choose from when looking for a spot that looked like they had good food and good coffee. Something about this place got my attention. The menu is very interesting. I think the puff pancake balls got my attention first. I had cold brew and it was so good. It was strong but not annoyingly strong. Someone else had a chai latte and they said it was great as well. Now the food, everything we had was great. Large portions, fresh, and very tasty. The guys in the kitchen are cranking out some amazing food. The chicken and waffles were very good, the grits were great (I added butter and honey), the biscuits were very good, and all the eggs we had were really good. This place was so good we came back the next morning to try more items. The staff was very nice as well. Next time we're in NOLA we're coming here again!
Great place for a big breakfast that is reasonably priced. Interesting interior that shows the original woodwork and support structures.
Everything order came out hot and well presented. Excellent choice for all.
