No need to go to Port of call for best burger . hands down, blues cheese burger is well made and very tasty
Surprisingly solid bar food. Surprisingly solid bar food and decent menu. Dean Martin themed. Good service. I loved my 'filthy waffle fries" (ranch drizzle, whole bacon, melted cheese for $7.50 in '10) and zesty Philly Cheese Stealk ($8.50 w. waffle fries, though the bread was so-so). 3/10.
We stopped in for a late dinner one night while on a trip to New Orleans, while visiting friends. A locally owned and run bar with a mind blowing selection of alcohol and food that is top notch. Our bartender was lovely, and really made us feel welcome in the big easy. Stop in sometime and grab a drink and some good food.
Stopped by here for lunch on a Sunday while working at the convention center for the week. Bartender was super friendly and greeted us right when we walked in and took care of our drinks. We order the chicken buffalo wrap and bacon burger which were both great along with the crispy waffle fries. Got that neighborhood bar feel with a couple tv's to watch the games. Highly recommend this place for a drink or food.
Has a little bit of a dive-y vibe in a good way. Bartender was very friendly. Just ordered a blue cheese burger and waffle fries to go, but it was solid. Would definitely go back here for a few low key drinks with some friends.
Perfect NOLA dive bar. Good food, strong drinks and great service.
Great spot! People are wonderful. Good drinks, burgers are delish! And we know how to pack the place and they take care of us! Always a blast.
This place is small and dark but the food is fabulous!! These cheesey potatoes are awesome and you get them with your steak on Tuesday Steak night !
Great place. Appears to be a local bar but super friendly to out of towners. The food was truly amazing, better than most (if it on all) casual chain restaurants. The bar tender was also the server, was very nice taking great care of me and my elder parents. If at the Convention Center or staying in a Warehouse District hotel this is a great place to go.
It was a late arrival to the Hampton Inn. After traveling a major portion of the day. A recommendation from the hotel staff, we walked about 500 ft south (1.5 blocks) to great burgers and cold beer. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I'd eat here again.
Place is great, from walking in thr door being greeted by the server Blythe. Food was amazing, place is clean, great customer service and drinks was on point.
Got the appetizers jalapeno poppers & spinach triangles with the hurricane drink 🔥.
Music was relaxing would like to turn it up a notch but overall great.
I really enjoyed this place. The food was REALLY good. The drinks weren't too overpriced and the staff was outstanding. It's a pretty small bar. About a 2 person crew unless it gets super busy. But as small as it was that actually made me enjoy the place even more. If you're in NOLA and are looking for a bar that's not packed with stumbling idiots grab a can/Uber/Lyft and spend some time here.
