We had walked by this place multiple times and it smelled so good and looked very intriguing, so we decided to stop by for lunch. It was amazing! We ordered the emo nachos and 3 different types of meat for the grill. Every thing was AMAZING, including all of the small sides that came with the meal (kimchi, bean sprouts, etc). If I'm ever back in New Orleans, I will definitely make a point to come back here to eat!

I moved from DC and was so excited when I found this place. Food is awesome, service is great. If you have never had Korean food before, this is the place to experiment.

The food was amazing!!! We even brought our friend who was visiting from Seoul and he said the food here was better than what he gets in Seoul. This was the second time since you reopened in this location, because we live on the north shore. The improvement on the menu and pricing was precisely what we were looking for so we will definitely be back. We could definitely use a location on the north shore in Covington!!

Absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Our waiter was very patient with our questions about Korean food. My wife had the spicy BBQ chicken platter, I had the bulgogi bibimbap. Both were perfectly cooked and were absolutely delicious. Big portions on both plates. On our next trip we will try the cooking tables to expand our Korean experience. I highly recommenced this restaurant.

We really enjoyed the banchan, the mirliton was our favourite. The kimchee jjigae was spicy, tangy and totally hit the spot. Hubby really enjoyed the crispy, flavourful kimchee pancake as well. Our craving was definitely satisfied!

This place is a vibe. Best food I had for a 2 day trip. Didn't do my own cooking, had the kitchen staff do that part and it was amazing. I fully recommend this place but couple of things first before you go. The wait time for food if the kitchen is cooking is long. Like so long I thought they forgot about us but then again we were hungry. The smell in the air makes you hungry as soon as u walk in. Second very affordable, they had a party when I was there so was a bit noisy but that food made up for all the negative things that happened all day. Just writing this post makes me feel like taking a weekend trip again. I will definitely be back.

Quaint KBBQ spot. The food is great and the service excellent. I did feel like the price is a bit high on the meats, though. We did the baked corn cheese ($9) and a SoonDooBoo JjiGae soup ($15) add pork to start, both full of flavor. We only did two meats - spicy bulgogi and garlic pork belly ($21 each). The bulgogi was great, I liked the pork belly but would've liked more garlic flavor. Great spot for a date or meeting up with friends/colleagues; they also have a bar. I would go back.

I love eating here when in New Orleans! As with most Asian food, my dairy allergy is of little concern here. Sitting at the BBQ tables is such a unique experience, and the food is always delicious. We usually get the spicy bulgogi and garlic pork belly. I also love to get their kimchi fried rice. Staff is always helpful and attentive. Highly recommend!

It's a small place , like a hole in the wall, but awesome food, great service with big smiles on each and every servers. It tells a lot about the owners' care to the staff. Not a lot of sauce, nor a taste and feel of msg. It felt like... wholesome taste. Highly recommended 👌 👍 👏

To be honest, I did not expect much of authenticity in NOLA. I’ve seen countless mediocre Korean restaurants in many small and large cities in different states. I’ve tried other so called Korean restaurants in the different parts of NOLA. But to my great surprise, this place has done it well. I’m a Korean foodie who’s always in a search for a good cuisine. And I did not expect Little Korea BBQ to remotely even come close to Korean restaurants found in cities like Dallas, Houston, or Atlanta. But they surely provided and option for self grilling environment as well as excellent kitchen menus that were not attempts of Korean dishes. Many of the dishes that we have order had the authentic flavor. Not all, however, are considered the best that I’ve had, but it was good enough. When I asked to be spicy, it was spicy enough. Side dishes were authentic and replenished free of charge as it should be. So, there is my approval stamp💮. If this restaurant was in highly populated oriental Asian area, it may have receive 3 stars for few of less than good dishes (such as yaki udon). But for being where it is, I must give 5 stars for pioneering 정신.

Pretty good Korean food. We got a regular table-not the bbq grill. Gghan Poong chicken was amazing. It took a while for it to come out but was well worth it. I think it's Korean style orange chicken-the chicken was juicy and crispy, but not hard the chew. Volcano kimchi fried rice was pretty good. Interesting. Bulgogi dolsot was okay. I would've preferred a regular bowl instead of the hot stone but it filled the craving. That's more of a personal preference.

Visiting from NYC where there are tons of authentic Korean food and I came in with low expectations given the location, but the food here definitely surpass my expectations by a lot. Spicy ox tail stew is similar to galbi jim but with ox tail, bbq galbi is good but the meat is a bit too thick and they charge extra for lettuce and ssamjang. Soon tofu is decent no complaints there. That being said, it still deserves a 5 star in terms of authenticity, price and portion.

Very very delicious food and cool vibe and atmosphere. There is something about grilling your own food! We really enjoyed the BBQ, wings, and especially the kimchi fried rice with a fried egg volcano style. (Melted Cheese)

Good Korean style BBQ, tried the Galbi, Brisket and Garlic Pork, very tasty, the lettuce with soybean paste was also great, full of umami with a touch of sweet, perfect complement to the grilled meat. The dessert - the 'crofle' is also yummy, crispy waffle with chocolate spread with ice and whipped cream on top.

Was craving Korean food so decided to take a visit here. We got brisket and pork belly for kbbq and the kimchi fried rice. The kimchi fried rice came with beef which we didn’t know. The meat quality was good. Service was great. Place was clean and neat. I’d come back.

Very nice and clean place. Definitely recommend the Korean fried chicken, beef mandu, kimchi fried rice, and beef bulgogi. There only 6 grills but there is other seating and you can still order the meats its just they cook it for you.

Wish I could give 4.5 stars, their current rating is 4.5, and I think that is fair. The food we ordered was good. The service was good and the prices are fine. The only issue was the appetizer we ordered, the seafood pancake, had no flavor, wasn’t cooked, and only had a few pieces of seafood on it. Disappointing way to start a meal. I’d go back again, but this time not get an appetizer that disappoints right off the bat.

We are visiting from Houston, TX and very happy that we found this little gem of Korean food! Everything we ordered tasted awesome especially the beef bulgogi and jajangmyeon. Too bad we live so faraway, else this will be our frequent dining place! Totally recommend it!

I really like this restaurant. It's my second time coming here and it's more awesome the second time around. Note that if you sit at the grill , there's a 2 entrée minimum. I ordered the galbi ribs and spicy marinated chicken. Definitely quality meat and marinade. Everything is authentic all the way around.

Love their authentic Korean food! We always come here when we're visiting New Orleans despite how they are a bit on the pricier side. I highly recommend this place!

Food alone was delicious. Every dish was wonderfully prepared from the kimchi to the cocktails and everything in between. My only complaint is I feel that for the atmosphere and the service, it was not worth the higher price point for that style of food. I felt it was more upscale prices for casual environment. I get they are on Magazine Street and are doing something a little harder to find than say Vietnamese or Chinese. However, I went to a little hole in the wall in Biloxi and felt the food was just as good for almost half the price. I would recommend it, but I'm not running back any time soon.

We loved our visit to Little Korea BBQ. The food was authentic and flavored to perfection. My girlfriend ordered the kimchi stew and I ordered soon doo boo stew with mushrooms (since I am still on a post-jaw surgery soft foods diet). Both of our stews came steaming and stayed hot throughout our meal. We also split a delicious black bean fried rice. I really appreciate how patient our server was with my current condition and she checked with the owner and kitchen to give us the best recommendations. We will definitely be returning to try all the other menu items!
