Had the steak sandwich and every bite was absolutely perfect! The a aioli and pickled onions pushed it over the edge. The onion bun it was served on was spectacular as well. I also got to try the Buffalo Jo jos, Ribs, and the Reverend sandwich. Every single thing I put in my mouth was off the chain. The portions were filling and the service was friendly. Can’t wait to go back!

Holyyyy livestock. I expected this place to be good, but not the best damn food I’ve had since my Momma’s cookin. This will definitely be the new spot I’ll be bringing all my visitors. Y’all know what you’re doing with your meat!

Who knew bologna could be this good? We had that sandwich and The Reverend, a masterpiece of corn beef and excellent pickled purple cabbage. The boudin egg rolls are rich and heavy and full of excellent boudin. We also shared some herby, mustardy potato salad. My only suggestion would be to hang some penny water baggies outside to help minimize the flies who are not shy about getting up in your food bizness!

I drove in from Houston today and was very hungry after all the traffic delays. The restaurant my friend picked out had a 2 hour wait. We came here instead, showing up a few minutes before closing. They sat us at the bar and served us. The food was fresh, hot, and delicious. We had the the boudin egg rolls, red fish and Brussel sprouts. I can't thank the staff enough for making sure our dinner was perfect while they were closing down for the night. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Another local place serving up real-deal food for the people. It started with a “Skater Aid”, a local blonde brew bringing big flavor, and has an “adopt a skateboarder” on the side of the can. I used that to wash down a phenomenal Boudin eggroll. Perfect sausage and cheese combo inside a crunchy eggroll. Had to try the steak tartare to finish it off and the blend of filet, shallots, mustard, capers, and Worcestershire aioli with toast was amazing. Over the top flavor and great texture. One of the cool things about this place was the starter bread, it’s served with a lit candle on the plate, well the candle is made out of beef fat and as it melts you dip the bread in it.

Delicious house made bread. The best steak tartar I've had in along time. The prime ribeye for two was epic, savory, beautifully crusted, just awesome. Thoughtful wine list, great for a steak house. Delicious ice cream pie.

This has been a restaurant on my list to try for years but had never visited New Orleans. Wife and I are here for a long weekend and it was one of our first stops. We split a charcuterie board, got a Hot Rye and a Fried Bologna sandwich — both sandwiches were incredible. Probably the best Pastrami sandwich I have ever eaten in my life; the fried bologna on the sandwich was a texture of fried bologna I have never seen, more along the lines of thick crispy bacon than bologna and was obviously a bologna either made in house or made for them. The flavor was unlike any bologna I have ever eaten. My favorite meats though were the Pattee and Head Cheeses on the charcuterie board; absolutely incredible flavors and textures. I can’t speak highly enough of the staff. Everyone was extremely courteous and very willing to answer all the questions I had and provide recommendations. It was obvious everyone there truly cared about the food they were putting out and wanted to make it an experience for every customer that came in.

Amazing food, fabulous drinks, and excellent service! The food is top notch but in an approachable and comfortable atmosphere. We came for brunch which was delicious. Favorites were the boudin egg rolls and the biscuits and gravy. Then we came back for Valentine's day and the food was mind-blowing. The tartare was one of the best I've had. Peggy's service was delightful from start to finish. Special thanks to the kitchen for making a substitute on the prix fixe meal since I cannot eat shrimp. Cannot say enough positive things about this restaurant.❤️‍🔥

This place was absolutely delicious very small quaint place nestled on the corner but definitely a hidden gem! The boudin egg rolls were absolutely sinfully amazing! Was pleasantly surprised to have some sliced duck on the charcuterie board & the spicy mustard & almonds that came with it were a wonderful addition as well! This triple D spot is a must try while visiting New Orleans!

My partner and I went to Piece of Meat for a date night, and it was perfect. Piece of Meat is in a cute area of New Orleans, and we didn't have too much trouble finding parking. We made a reservation before hand and were seated right away. We were offered bread and a butter candle. The candle melted the butter for the bread which was neat and not something I had seen before. I got a watermelon mojito that wasn't big, but was very tasty. My partner got a glass of wine. We got a Ribeye, Sirloin (both medium rare), shishito peppers and the million dollar mashers. The steaks were both perfectly medium rare and good quality meat. They were seasoned and have salt flakes on the side. The potato were unbelievable and a definite must try. The shishito peppers were tasty and had a good spicy mayo side sauce. The vibe of the restaurant was quaint and cute. This was not a cheap meal, but it was good quality and enjoyable. I would recommend it.

I saw this place on Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives and it was everything it was hyped up to be and more! Normally I would never order Bologna or a pastrami sandwich, but these homemade meats aren't like anything I've ever had before! Highly recommend after you've had your fill of Cajun classics in New Orleans, you gotta stop here and get a piece of meat!

Piece of Meat offers the best BBQ in NOLA without exception. The brisket is juicy and you'll want all the gristle. The ribs are cooked very well and are a bit licorice forward thanks to fennel. The boudin is a perfect blend. Snag an outdoor table. You won't need your knife. The brisket sandwich is famous, but I recommend you get the BBQ Platter on your first visit to sample lots of what they offer. You'll be happy either way.
