This establishment is just across the street from the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center and a great option of you’re not feeling any of the food at the convention center. I happened to visit during a very busy time so I’m not sure if my experience is the norm. I had to wait in line to order food. You could not sit and wait to be served. I found this a bit unfortunate because I was hoping to order a couple drinks before heading back to my hotel. I was also a little disappointed there wasn’t a side salad option to add to my order. The employees did a great job of moving the line along quickly and getting the food out equally as quickly. Overall, the food was pretty good and the experience was ok. I imagine it would’ve been different if the restaurant was a bit less packed.

Great location right across from the convention center. We were able to walk the, eat, and return in plenty of time. Also is kid friendly but didn't see a specific kid menu. No wait when when got there. Service was a little slow but still friendly. Seemed like the waitress was new. We ordered 2 different pizzas and spaghetti for our family of 5. Only small pizza was available and these are a little pricey. Food all tasted great though. Ultimately it's close and convenient and pretty tasty.

Nice spot for pizza and watching playoff basketball. We ate dinner here two nights in a row while in town for a conference. Piano player each evening was great. Ample seating. Prices were standard. Food was good.

Wow. This is such a nice establishment. Perfect if you wanna a chill sports bar feel as if have ample space and plenty of LARGE high Def flat screens. Also a great space for a decent dining experience. Very welcoming and attentive staff that take pride in their jobs. By the great service you are provided it is obvious the workers know great customer service. Food is legit tasty and made freshly upon order. I suggest with any order you get some of the Tommy G's Wings.

I don’t like this place, I love it! This is my 4th straight day eating lunch here. This is one of the best pizza places, and located strategically across from Convention Center!

15% Gratuity is automatically added when you pay which can be convenient or not - especially if you’re just doing take out. Pizza is super tasty, chicken parm is also tasty. Bruschetta was Devine. VERY happy we didn’t listen to the negative reviews and ate here.

Some great coal fired pizza! We love stopping by and taking friends from out of town. This is conveniently located across from the convention center and is easy walking distance to nearby eateries and attractions such as the WWII Museum. The taste is consistent, but the quality is not. We once had undercooked pizza which had an unsatisfying floppy dough. Of the many times eating here, only one bad pizza is not so bad. The crispness of a coal fired pizza is what we love about Tommy G's. This is an expectation you can have. Hope you check this place out on a good day.

Nataliya was an incredibly awesome waitress. She was very gracious, attentive and makes the best margaritas Ive had in New Orleans. The 4 of us had pizza and pasta 2 days in a row. It was all perfectly made, delicious and we enjoyed every single bite. No photos because we ate all the food too fast. Lol

Pizza was amazing! Def. recommend trying it out! They do charge 15 percent gratuity to all bills regardless if dining in or take out. Pasta lovers reading this, pass on the Chicken Alfredo…. not that great.

I’ve been in town for 3 weeks and I’ve tried food all around the city. Many good places but I must say that the items you don’t expect to blow you away are the true stars at Tommy G’s. The oysters are sinful, they are so good and tonight I tried the absolute best Philly cheesesteak and I’ve tried them all up and down the east coast. Fresh hot with wonderfully crusted bread and seasoned to perfection. If you are in the area you have to try this place. By the way the brick oven pizza is also great. The staff is so happy to have customers coming in at this time with the pandemic but it’s so spacious and it’s such a safe environment too. Huge TV screens and projection screen playing all the best sports games that are on.

We had 2 differenr pizzas-Di Parma and Truffle pizza with goat cheese, chicken parmesan, buffalo wings, truffle fries, meatballs and mozzarella stick. Just fanatatic. And ask for Dory- she was great, friendly and just wonderful.

I really like the thin crust, coal fired pizza. I try to order from them weekly. However, when there are conventions in town, they often turn off their online ordering (understandable at lunch) but never turn it back on for evening orders. And they don't answer the phone for phone orders (again, after lunch). Pizza is ready quickly, but if you order in-store, they tack on a 10% surcharge, even to-go. When I've picked up after 5, they rarely have more than one or two guests, multiple staff, and a huge, empty dining room. They really need to manage their to-go better. They are definitely losing business.
