This is my favorite poboy place in town. The roast beef is delicious and the fried shrimp is absolutely the best. The staff treats everyone like you are old friends. You get large portions for a great price.

Best Poboys in town. All the seafood is fresh and the fried chicken is as good as it gets. The daily specials are excellent (Thursday is chicken fried steak. also excellent.) If they were open later I'd probably eat dinner here 3 or 4 nights a week.

This has become my favorite poboy place in town. I wish I had discovered it long before I did. Drove down Central many times and did not know it was there. My favorite is shrimp, but if I happen to show up on Thursday I get that chicken fried steak. Oh, and I always ask for the seeded bread, but they are out sometimes and the regular is still good. The staff is another good reason to go there. Good people.

I've normally have been going to Central but it was too packed so we tried here on this particular day we went in and I tell you I was not in any way disappointed! I got an extra large shrimp po boy and the shrimp were huge and they were absolutely cooked just perfect! And Ms. Brenda was just as sweet and accommodating as she could be, the lady that took my order, and she was nice enough to give me some gravy so I can make some debris fries and that gravy was just scrumptious! I will definitely be coming back here soon as possible to try more items!

The portions are massive, the quality is amazing and the service was great. The Shrimp basket was perfectly cooked, well seasoned and not at all wet or soggy. You could taste the Shrimp and the freshness. The Club sandwich was gigantic and delicious. Definitely will be back and bringing friends and loved ones as well. Definitely a local gem without all of the bravado.

Great selection of food. Shrimp poboys are delicious! Large portions of food. The people working there were friendly and talk to everyone. No wonder that they're still in business after all these years.

4 star vs 5 simply because of my preferences. The food was good and the staff were great. Onion rings were fresh, but I prefer big round onion rings. Roast beef poboy on seeded French bread was great. Breading on fried shrimp was not what I prefer, but still not bad. A little more than I wanted to pay, but that seems to be everywhere now. Would definitely go back.

Absolutely love this place. Finest quality food, freshly prepared to order. This is a mom and pop neighborhood gem with really good homemade food. The chicken parmesan is better than ANY fine Italian restaurant. Even the turkey poboy is slices of REAL turkey, not the thin, pressed turkey like most. The roast beef poboy is homemade and flavorful. Now my go to spot. You gotta try this hidden gem. No wonder they've been around for years!

One of the best poboys I had outside of in the main city of New Orleans. Was definitely stacked and full of shrimp as very well seasoned. Definitely would visit again.

I had a muffuletta on seeded french bread and it was quite possibly one of the most delicious sandwiches I’ve ever had in my life. This is the spot no doubt about it.

Amazing food, everything was good, they were pretty busy around 12 for lunch but our food came quick and it was a really cool atmosphere.
