So definitely not my choice for a bar but I'm better off knowing this place exists. Similar to most bars in New Orleans, I could've sworn I've been here before. Something about the patio seems really familiar? Glitch in the matrix, I don't know. So if you know me, karaoke and I do not mix. I've performed a total of 3 times in public in my life, and maybe 6 times period. It's just bad, and it takes an amount of alcohol I'm just not comfortable consuming in public. So how did I end up at a bar that exclusively does karaoke? Someone's birthday, as the DD no less. Still had a hella good time. The regulars got the party going early, then turned it up when the crowd got warmed up. Solo Linkin Park, WAP by the DJ and bouncer, Radiohead by a cowboy?! Props all around, we had a blast. My friend got to relive her early days with backup singers. Classic NOLA. Good basic bar food, lots of alcohol and even alt non alcoholic drinks. It's been awhile since I've hung out on St Claude, and it looks like it's coming up a little bit. There are a couple bars, restaurants, shops etc nearby worth checking out as well.
The vibe here was outstanding, me and my girl ,"who has cerebral palsy", more then enjoyed ourselves, Kay-B was such an amazing person and vibe! She made us feel so accepted and comfortable, if it wasn't for her I wouldn't have felt so comfortable or amazed by this place even with the people so open and comfortable themselves, the service was beyond super, no problems at all, I see that it's a 4.2 star but I'll say they definitely deserve the chance because after two years of living here and visiting once, I know I've found somewhere that I can escape and have a good time. Thank you, Kay-B! My neighbor is also someone who works here and has been beautiful to us! Please give this place a chance and come enjoy a fun time! Give Kay-B here money! Love it! We both do!
Me and my friends were visiting the city, and stopped in here on a Sunday night around 7. It was almost empty, so for a few hours we mostly had the place to ourselves. The vibes were great. One of the bartenders was very welcoming and engaged with us as we tried to keep with the Sad Boy Sunday theme. It started to get a little busy toward the end of the night, and you got the usual handful of ringers that could be performing professionally, but mostly it was a lot of people having a great time singing. I'd also never been to a karaoke bar where you could adjust the key the song would be in, which was extremely helpful! I'd definitely go back here
A fun and raucous dive joint where locals can be found belting out a range of Disney classic any night of the week! Also features regular food pop ups of some of the best food you will ever eat from Sweet's Meats! Affordable drink prices, local atmosphere, great Karaoke setup. Highly recommend.
Fun place to Karaoke. Gets pretty busy, so be prepared to wait to sing. Sound could be a little better. Nice that you can sing whatever you want, not like Cat's Meow.
Dope: different vibes on different nights from young to mixed age crowd. Some diversity too, some nights there’s a live band doing the karaoke. Karaoke every night and last night these cats were doing 4 part harmony. Try the Darth n Stormy, way better than the original, friendly bartenders and Dj (Kj)
Karaoke was an absolute blast Sunday night. Great, diverse crowd. Their DJ did a good job to entertain and keep the crowd moving though the songs. Service behind the bar was fantastic as well.
So much fun!!! The bartenders are awesome, Bella the dj was amazing and has an awesome voice, and everyone there was so friendly and welcoming. I can't wait to go back and song Black Velvet for y'all again! 😂😘♥️
Super fun and inviting karaoke place. It was reccomended to us at dinner and it did not disappoint. Everyone was having a great time and singing, not too packed and very lively.
Great place for Karaoke Very local vibe. Had a blast. Thank you.
Amazing atmosphere for karaoke on a week night. Not too touristy since it's a little bit away from bourbon street. Drinks weren't too pricey. Props to the bartender and DJ for being super nice. No great food options though and should have more songs in other languages for people from faraway!
New Orleans BEST karaoke bar! Also, not in the the super touristy area 🙌🕺✨
Great dive bar karaoke experience. Drinks are reasonably priced. When the crowd is right, it's a great Nola experience.
Great little karaoke bar! They have all the drinks you could want, any song you need, and even some merch. To top it all off, the KJs can download on the fly - there were a couple songs that we requested and the KJ got them for us!
This place isn't close to the tourist traps (like Cat's Meow), but if you're willing to take a little trip, this place is 100% worth it.
We really enjoyed this place and when we go back to NOLA, we are definitely going to visit Kajun's again.
