We have been dining with this restaurant for years and continue to be inspired by the menu, the ambiance, and the owners and staff. The staples of their menu remain and the rotation of fresh, farm-to-table dishes keep us coming back for more. Our latest treat was to be seated at a table with a secret drawer filled with love letters from past diners.

Had a nice time sitting at the bar. Enjoyed the Salumi with brussels (pictured) and the orecchiette... All delicious. Bartender was nice enough to talk cocktails with us and even let me sample an aloe aperitif I had never seen before.

I went to A Tavola for the first time on Mother's Day with my sister. We were seated right next to the front window. Our server was well versed about the specials, but we both chose from the regular dinner menu. The meal begins with their warmed crusty bread, which they serve with EVOO. I had the grilled octopus to start, which was done to perfection, not chewy at all, and very delicious. For our entrees, my sister had the chicken under a brick. My sister reported that it was really juicy, even the white meat, and perfectly seasoned. Cut to a week later and she's still talking about how great it was, how she can't wait to go back and have it again. I had the truffle mac n cheese which had a really generous amount of truffles and was generally just a really large portion, considering the price $15 and the fact that it was a 1/2 portion. (I love it when restaurants offer pastas in 1/2 portions.)
We finished with the house made salted caramel ice cream, amazing as well. Will definitely be going back!
Fine dining in a rustic atmosphere. Loved the repurposed furniture. Staff were exceptionally attentive and friendly. Solid selection of wines and signature cocktails. The flavors and preparation of every dish was classy yet unpretentious. The prices are higher than our typical family restuarant, but you absolutely get what you pay for. This was a special occasion visit and our entire experience had a special vibe.

Wonderful hospitality and good times. A Tavola has a nice balance between rustic comfort and haut cuisine. We had a family and friends celebration, a party of seven, and they made everything flow smoothly. Food was timely and delicious. Service was warm, attentive and accurate, but never cloying. I especially appreciated the intelligent wine list that contained thougtful, reasonable selections. I look forward to visiting again soon.
We love A Tavola for a 'special' date night. Prices can be high but for a nice night out with outstanding seasonal food highly recommend. Also Gastro Pub/Prohibition Bar vibe is really awesome.
