Had an absolute ball in this place.. Irish bar, irish people n good music what's not to love.. bar staff were sound out.. don't remember leaving the place the Saturday night we were there but went back the Monday night for the crack.. top marks lads

Came here for my friends 23rd birthday. The service and food/drinks were so amazing! We were sat by Kati, a very kind and accommodating woman. When order we had waitress Shanan. Not only was she kind, but very thoughtful for my friends birthday. This is our second year here for my friends birthday. Compared to last year, the staff is AMAZING. Such a great atmosphere.

Located in Hell's Kitchen neighborhood close to Time Square in midtown Manhattan, the Mean Fiddler isn't a regular sport bar restaurant like most Irish bars in the city, it goes above our expectations. I have been a regular at this spot for almost 5 years and I had the most pleasant experience with staff, management team and security guards. It's the place where I met people from all over the world (all 5 continents) and some of them became my close friends. I also brought a few of my childhood/high school/medical friends here and they had a blast. Cool, vibrant, chill atmosphere with one of the best bartenders in NY like my friend Aaron you can see in my pics. The management really knows how to keep up with their customers, the staff truly cares about your comfort, your safety. Foods are excellent, tasty, delicious (mostly Mexican dishes) and the quality of their drinks is top notch. This cozy sport bar is in my humble opinion a night club and keep in mind, they are opened literally every day until 4am which is not the case to most spots in midtown who tend to close up early if nobody shows up from 12-2am. As a google review member, trust my words you can't go wrong with the mean fiddler. As always, be kind, be respectful to the staff, tip the bartenders if you can (as you should lol) and enjoy the moment of your life. Blessingsšš¾

If people have reservations, they should be seated at their given time. Especially if there is a strict seating time limit (it does start once youāre actually seated, hence why we had to wait past my reservation). This was my first time coming here to celebrate my birthday. This place gets packed! If you have a seat with your back facing the bar, people will be constantly bumping you to walk between your chair and the people standing/dancing at the bar. This happened the whole time we was there to one of my party guest.
One of your staff members took my plate without asking me if I was done. I did ask him why he took my plate & he said because he thought I was done because I had a napkin on my chips. I told him, āI get it, but you should always ask people if they are done before taking their plateā. He did ask if I want replacement chips & I told him no.
My husbandās fish and chips was very oily and he basically wasted more than 3/4 of it. The rest of us (3 other people) didnāt have problems with our food. After those few hiccups, the rest of the experience was fun. Good music, good drinks and good vibes. I enjoyed the birthday shoutout from the DJ!
Wow! Honestly I canāt express how grateful I am to meet such wonderful people. I had an unexpected cancellation flying home to Ohio and experiencing New York for the first time ever. Of course coming to this beautiful City was on my bucket list and I got to experience kind and loving people. The staff here are truly a great time and really look out for you. Had such a great experience at Mean Fiddler. Visited last week for bestie date night before our play. The show happened to be right across the street and Mean Fiddler has been on our bucketlist for a while. The bottomless drink option had caught our attention and it did not disappoint! Our waitress Mae and her colleague were amazing. Made sure we received every drink we wanted to try and the service was extremely fast. We both had burgers and they were good and filling too. Highly recommend. Thank you guys for your great service.
I recommend the mean fiddler to all of my friends that visit New York. Itās a good time no matter what time of the year you go. Aaron is my favorite bartender. He makes the drinks perfect everytime. 10/10
We had the most amazing time at this place. The food was incredible. The drinks were great quality. The atmosphere was brilliant. Our server was perfect, the best we had the whole time we were in New York, she was so attentive and friendly. Highly recommend!
Nice spot our waitress was ok she seemed a bit all over the place and impatient. We are from out of town and asked her some questions on the menu and she would barely give me a chance to finish answering before saying she will be back. Overall food was good, drinks were good.
I discovered the Mean Fiddler a few months ago and since then itās always been a favorite spot of mine. The cocktails are amazing and the bartenders are wonderful. Aaron is the best!! Heās always welcoming, funny, kind and attentive. Itās a great place to go if youāre looking to dance (they have a live DJ) or just have a few drinks and a nice conversation. Iāve gone here with friends and Iāve gone solo and have always felt very safe and comfortable. At the Mean Fiddler youāll meet people visiting NYC from all over. Iāve met so many great people here and made many international friends. If youāre looking to have a fun time with great drinks and great people, this is the place to go!

Food was good! Mac n cheese worth the calories. Atmosphere was great, I went with friends. Be sure to order drinks upfront as you are drinking it as they are timing u heavy.

Dark and loud but couldnāt ask for more for a timeās square spot. Drink deals were awesome and the burger and fries were genuinely tasty. I was pretty impressed and would come back, especially for the drink deals I saw advertised.
Loved this place. I live in the neighborhood, it was my first time here and will definitely be coming back. Great service, delicious food and the bottomless drinks were so good!
