Saw this restaurant just walking by. Stopped in for dinner and it was delicious. If you are looking for some authentic Brazilian food this is the place to go.

We had a very nice dinner there. Simple salmon dish for my daughter, perfectly medium rare, and a well seasoned seafood dish for me. They have a nice spicy side seasoning. Service was good, prompt and friendly. It was a slow Sunday evening, so I can't comment on busy nights' service.
I guess it shouldn't have been a surprise that the diplomat-recommended Brazilian restaurant would be located on the street in Manhattan nicknamed "Little Brazil Street," but since I worked practically next door until last April, it seemed an odd coincide

Had lunch at Via Brasil in Manhattan today after a wonderful workshop Star Mothers & Earth Ancestors: A Channeling Event for Starseeds with Marissa & JJ Brighton. The restaurant was beautifully rustic inside with a piano for live music & tasteful pictures throughout. We had the special which was oxtails & polenta & the rio grande churrascos mixed meat grill. The Pao de Queijo A Brazilian delight "cheese bread" was delicious & the Mariscos Ao Molho de Vinho which is Sauteed mussels w/ garlic, white wine and tomato sauce. The waiters were all great & very attentive. Love this little piece of Brazil on west 46th street.
We had an amazing visit to NYC and went to one of our favorite restaurants. All the food was amazing. We started with the Pao de Quiejo. Great cheese bread. We had the Picanha Fatiada and the Bife Baiana. They were both excellent. The Yucca is very good and the rice and beans are the best. Love this place.
Excellent option for Brazilian food in Manhattan. Highly recommend the feijoada and picahna.

After a broadway show, this was our next stop. Food was really good. Restaurant was really nice but the ladies bathroom was disgusting.
I love Brazilian food so was excited to try via BRASIL which is located in little brazil in nyc next to Times Square . We got the pao do queijo (cheese buns) which were not the best (they didn’t have enough cheese in them + they didn’t have white / green sauce to accompanied it).
For main I got the picanha (Brazilian sirloin) which was good. I do want to go back for the moqueca.
Service was little bit weird. Not sure if they fully understood us / when we requested things.
Absolutely amazing food and service! We wanted to eat dinner before catching a concert at a nearby venue. Selecting this restaurant was the best decision. The caipirinha was amazing. The shrimp stuffed baked acorn squash dish was absolutely to die for. All the side dishes were superb. The service was amazing - attentive and friendly. We will be back. I highly recommend!

OMG this place was soo amazing!!! Took my mom there for mother’s day and she lovedddddd it! The food was absolutely amazing but the service was definitely the biggest gem. Such a lovely atmosphere, cocktails were also delicious. Would absolutely recommend this place!
I had the Salmão Tropical "Tropical Salmon" and it was the best fish I have ever had. It was falling apart, and melted in the mouth. Great dish.
