If you are happened to stay midtown NY, dont hesitate to go to one of Blue Bottle outlet to get your fix. I have tried their finest blend, hayes valley. It tastes great whether milk.based like hot cappucino in.the morning or iced latte in the afternoon. You cant go wrong with Blue Bottle!!!
Best coffee in NY and one of best coffees in the US for a coffee lover! New Orleans style ice coffee is just sweet enough and still strong. Cappuccino is always a good option. Drink sizes are small but worth it. All the coffee favorites are delicious! I always make sure to buy a couple bags to bring home from Blue Bottle!
Awesome coffee and friendly staff. :)
Travelling to New York from coffee country of the world Australia. ;)
Felt like home..had a good chat with the staff. Will go back again.
A good yet affordable steak is hard to find in London, well for me at least. After seeking high and low could the search be coming to an end? Perhaps.
Catered to the bustling office crowd, Blue Bottle runs like a well oiled machine with 2 production and ordering lines set up, well done. Service is fast and coffee very well prepared. I'm impressed they weigh each shot before preparing the coffee. We've tried a few variations here and all were made with skill. The cafe is small but very clean and bright.
After Birch, only the second coffee shop I found in NYC that does not burn their coffee!
They also serve drip coffee & you can buy their beans.
Loved how my cookie was served in a paper coffee filter. :)
So while staying in Midtown, the closest java stop worth mentioning was Blue Bottle Coffee, located in the lower level of Rockefeller Center amongst the other food court like venues. It's off the beaten path, which gives it's exclusive vibe, but a little different than the other BBC's we've encountered....
This is the nearest Blue Bottle Coffee from Rockefeller Center as they are located in Rockefeller Plaza. This local coffee shop serves variant of Espresso, New Orleans - Style Coffee, Coffee, Tea, Chocolate, and some foods that are suitable for breakfast or snack.
They also provide freshly brewed coffee beans and come merchandises. The dine in area isn't that big, but once we got seated, it feels quite comfortable here.
I tried their Cold Brew Single Origin 12 oz for $6.
A cup of cold brew with abundant ice cubes. It's a refreshing coffee that isn't bitter and sour.
Ever since I tasted their NOLA coffee at San Francisco, I have a good opinion about them and they did not disappoint at this particular outlet as well. Being Epicurious, I tried their raspberry flavored coffee. It was a little weird at first, but once you get the taste of it, it’s really tasty.
We were in Rockefeller Plaza, and saw this coffee place and decided to give it a chance. We ordered an affogato here. It was very good, but quite expensive for how little you got.
I love my coffee experience with Blue Bottle. They have amazing coffee beans and the taste is great. Real coffee. I ordered hot Cappuccino and Latte. The Cafe also has enough space to sit or stand to enjoy your coffee. It is located in the kinda basement floor of the Rockefeller so it can be quite tricky to find as we experienced when using google map. I will definitely come back.
Great coffee, friendly staff. The coffee shop is small but very quiet and provides ample seats.
Coffee was good but the almond croissant left much to be desired. It looked a little over-baked but I figured I would try it anyway cause I don't mind a crispy croissant. It was very crispy and usually almond croissants have filling in them and this had basically no filling. The inside was moist with something but it was not your typical almond croissant. May go back for coffee but likely not baked goods.
I got a medium roast (it has a very fancy name I dont remember) pour over coffee. They brewed my coffee on Order, that is so awesome. The place is clean and very polite staff.. The guy with black bandana took my order and suggest this roast.. you can taste a little strong note on your tough when u first take a sip.. Fresh coffee for the win! Ohh it costs $6 for a cup, little expensive but to me the taste was worth it!
Coffee is great and there is some indoor seating. Located a floor below street level. Best to grab your coffee to go and sit outside and take in the sites of Rockefeller center.
We came to enjoy this chain of coffee shops while we were in NYC and would stop in one when we could. The young woman at the register had a very welcoming, genuine smile. Not a lot of seating available as it was pretty busy and small. No public restrooms. Great view of the World Trade Center building.
Perfect pour over coffee. Superb. Must try coffee lovers.
