Like the Leopard on the Upper West Side, II Gattopardo, the sister restaurant in Midtown, serves up fantastic southern Italian cuisine. I was actually blown away by the company, food, wine, and service today. The experience all the way around was outstanding. If you are looking for Italian in Midtown, this is a go-to spot.
Amazing Italian dinner. Highly recommended. . Service is exceptionial and the dishes and flavors fantastic. Had dinner with awesome Truffle and Pasta. Need reservations for sure. Always crowded lunch or dinner.
I was invited to this restaurant on a work trip and WOW. I am blown away by the food, service, and overall experience while eating here. We tasted various appetizers that were accompanied by a bottle of red wine, Barolo Monfalletto. I ate the veal chop wrapped in pancetta as my main course. I got a side of brussels sprouts. My main course was full of flavor and cooked to perfection. For dessert, we split among the table to try the variety they offered. All were delicious and beyond flavorful.
Very nice place it was historically house of Rockefeller members and the food was very delicious specially burrata it is from Puglia and love there veal Milanese . All order was good and delicious but we should mention the waiters his name Jorge Potrero he is 7 stars server. Definitely I will come again.
Always have Pizza in Itlay right! It is the best. Relaxed and fantastic service during the lunch period (most places are closed) in the gorgeous Italian town of Ventimiglia. Truly my Aperol spritz, Pizza and some Pulpo made my day. La Dolce Vita. Wonderful.
Absolute perfection, starting from great location, excellent food, ambiance, coffee, amazing desserts and superb service. The waiter was very helpful and friendly.
I have been to many NYC Italian restaurants but this is top notch from all aspects. We had Smoked burrata, Spaghetti with tomato and basil, Green pasta, and unforgettable Affogato for dessert. Americano coffe, definitely best in the city.
It is a perfect place for lunch, or dinner or just coffe and dessert, whether is business, family or friends. Can’t wait to be back! Wonderful experience. Grazie mille!
I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant 🙌 The food was absolutely delicious and the service was friendly and attentive. I ordered the ravioli which was cooked to perfection and had a rich and creamy sauce 😋 I highly recommend it to anyone who loves pasta. The starter was a caprese salad with fresh tomatoes, basil and cheese. The cheese was especially good, it was soft and creamy and melted in my mouth 🧀 And for dessert I had the sponge cake which was moist and fluffy and had a sweet and tangy lemon glaze 🍰 It was the perfect way to end a wonderful meal. I can't wait to go back and try more dishes from their menu 😍
Decent place. Came with my family while visiting New York. Ordered several dishes, they varied in quality. My duck was overcooked while the zucchini parm appetizer was great. So the food was a mixed bag. Service on the other hand was tremendous. The spot itself is fine, nothing to write home about. Probably would not visit again but it wasn’t super bad.
Great spot! The authenticity and historicity of this place (as it relates to and originated from Rockefeller) are fascinating. Great event spot for relatively small group.
Most delicious Italian and lovely understated elegance. The vibe and experience are always perfect too.
We sat on the patio for lunch, and it was such a lovely experience. They put "grass" on the floor so it is as if you are in a park and the tables and rest of decor really makes it feel like such a romantic upscale picnic.
The food was delicious, great presentation and a lovely selection of wine!
Beautiful place. Our waiter Mauro recommendation from Wine to Entrée was perfect. We sat outside on the front porch and loved.
Love love love this place! The setting is spectacular. You are treated like family from the time you check in until saying farewell. Spot on service. Gastronomic extravaganza! Ask for Stefan! You will not be disappointed. Cheers!! God Bless Blue & Gold!! God Bless America!!
Excellent restaurant at a central location. Great service and food. Especially reccomend the burrata and the zuchinella.
Simply stunning place. Lovely setting, we sat outside.
The service was absolutely top notch and what you would expect from a quality restaurant.
Food was definitely some of the best I have ever eaten, I had the cod but others had the venison which also looked amazing and was definitely cooked to perfection.
Didn’t have wine as this was a lunch meeting with clients but the list looked extensive.
Price for mains and bottled still and sparkling water for 5 was $450 which again for the standard of cuisine I was happy with that.
Bon appetite!

Nice place for regular and simple dinner , very simple interior …food delicious , but nothing special of the presentation of plates
The menus they have there for private events or corporate events might be different from what you see online. The roasted artichokes, celeriac roots in tomato sauce, crab & avocado were ridiculously good. I liked the way the monk fish was prepared with peas and some type of greenish beans. The quality of olive oil was very good. The servers were super thoughtful, kind, polite and attentive. The quality of the services was top notch too, which was on par with Japanese standards. When I said no to desserts, they offered me fresh berries instead.
Loved this place! The food was very tasty from appetizers to the desserts. It’s very welcoming and the service is top notch. The prices are good for their portion sizes. Recommend the octopus!!The cappuccino was delicious and a perfect way to end the night. Highly recommend this place.
