This is truly a hidden gem in NYC. This place is ENCHANTING! Excellent food, spectacular ambiance and great service describes this adorable little Italian restaurant in the West Village. We recently hosted a private party in the carriage house behind the garden. The room was visually stunning with beautiful fresh flowers everywhere. Everywhere you turned looked like a still life. We had a beautiful cocktail party with prosecco and nibbles. We then went up to find the most beautifully set table with candles, flowers..stunning. The food was amazing! We had 4 courses served family style, 8 different dishes. All were absolutely delicious. A homemade strawberry shortcake for dessert. The service was spot on. I highly recommend this restaurant. The newly opened Apertivo, next door is another very cool little spot to have a cocktail and a bite!
Fantastic restaurant!! We were upstairs in the private room for an intimate birthday party of 15 and it was so cozy!! The food was wonderful- yes TRY the cauliflower!!! Sooooo good!!!
Will definitely go back and highly recommend this Wonderful place !!
great environment! great food! but my portion was small (ravioli)
Had a very good dinner and great service! Enjoyed the served food and wine! Also had a very nice dessert to finish of a dinner with my wife.
Absolutely wonderful!!! Highly recommend! Wait staff is fantastic!
We dined out back in the garden. A must... The meal was transcendent; a memory that will endure. We had the grilled octopus as an appetizer, then the zuppa di pesce (seafood soup in a bowl covered with flatbread baked into a domed golden cover. Also had the sea bass. Everything was exceptional. No, more than that, sublime. The zuppa was a hit, the presentation was exciting. The tomato broth had such intense flavor from the lobster, mussels, clams, scallops, calimari, shrimp. There was a slight warmth in the mouth from some subtle pepper, but I couldn't identify it. It was the perfect level of spiced heat, but not hot, just a warm glow on the pallete. But what really endured and was memorable was the intensity of the flavors. So deep and complex, a seafood masterpiece. The flatbread canopy was fun to pull apart and dip into the broth. I left with a smile on my face and a lasting memory of a marvelous meal.
The baby shower was awesome! The food was delish!!!!!! It was great seeing at least 3 out of my 5 granddaughters (one is in Florida & the other in Louisiana). It was a lovely day! I'm already thinking about that chicken---yum---yum!
Amazing food + amazing service = can't recommend this place enough.

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Palma before going to the theatre. The entire experience from start to finish was top notch!

Literally my new favorite place to eat. My mother and I spent Mother's day here and it was a magical experience. You don't feel like you're in the city anymore- it takes you to another time. The staff and owners are attentive, kind and accommodating. <3
Great place with great food and great service! We took our mother for Mother's Day. Waiters and waitresses were so amazing, they knew how to serve and treat their customers and they knew their own foods, of which service could be hard to find in NYC. All the ingredients were so fresh and cooked perfect.
We will definitely go back!

I came upon Palma years ago on a Village food tour and have loved it ever since. The garden is gorgeous and tranquil and the food--particularly the pasta dishes--is fantastic and thoughtfully made.
Such a GREAT experience! We did Xmas and it just might become a tradition! Great service, awesome staff, and amazing food.
PLUS, they gave reservations special gifts for the holidays.
One of our favorite restaurants in the city. Every dish we had was incredible and the ambiance in the patio was perfect. Highly recommend. Looking forward to coming back soon.
Perfect spot for Christmas dinner. Great ambiance, food, and service. Every table was given a gift per person which was a different ornament. Was such a nice and unexpected touch! Highly recommend.
Remember to reserve indoor and ask for garden seats. We were celebrating our third-month anniversary. The atmosphere is great and romantic. Surrounded by white roses. The waiter was very attentive and helpful. We could not determine which ice cream to choose for dessert and changed our mind at one time. Even though the raspberry one was already prepared, he offered us a free Oliver ice cream 🍨. First time trying the Oliver flavored ice cream not bad~
What we ordered:
Spaghetti All'astice ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Tagliata Di Mango⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Death in Venice Cocktail⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This place is spectacular! Atmosphere is so relaxing! We had the steak, chicken, ravioli and two other pastas! Everything was so good!!! Make a reservation and enjoy yourself!!
What an absolutely magical experience. We had our elopement wedding reception here and I could not have imagined hosting such an event anywhere else. The space was filled with warmth and love. You can feel love in the air knowing the owners beautiful story. The ambiance was specular every detail just flawless . Our server was fantastic, professional, and attentive. The dinner and wine was incredible. Best arancini I've ever had! Weather your planning a date or anniversary Palma will ensure of romantic memorable night. Palma is not just restaurant it is an experience. Thank you again for everything.
Visiting from Alabama, we came here for my husband’s birthday dinner with our family and our 8 month old baby. Service was excellent and everyone was so helpful and accommodating. The food was incredible—definitely our favorite dinner place in the city now. Not only that but the atmosphere was romantic and eclectic. What a hidden gem. Can’t wait to return!
Did lots of research on Italian restaurants before visiting New York and I’m so glad we booked a table at Palma. It’s some of the best Italian food I’ve ever had. The food, wine, and service was all fantastic. We sat “outside” in the courtyard and it was lovely. It did get quite loud in there - a warning for those hard of hearing. But we loved that as part of the atmosphere. If I ever make it back, I would 100% be booking this restaurant.
Went here for a date night, and thought it was awesome. We unfortunately didn’t get seats in their garden, which should be noted as an indoor seat for those wondering, but sitting outside was still extremely pleasant. Even though the area is very busy, the foot traffic never interrupted the meal. The meatballs were good and the sauce was flavorful, the fritto misto was super fresh and tasty, the fettuccine was good, but the real MVP was the Trofie Al Pesto. This was by far our favorite dish. Rich and bursting with flavor. Next time I go, I’m getting an inside seat to sit in that garden. Check this place out!
