We went today with a living social deal. Hostess and wait staff - James - were the best!!! We had such a great time and the food/dessert recommended by James were absolutely fantastic. Scallops were seated perfectly; sea bass excellent with the best mash potatoes and the s'more bread pudding was divine though we did need/want another scoop of ice cream. They also acknowledged Barbara's birthday.
Cocktails were also intense. And James has us chase our meal down with an herbal thing and ginger beer.
Truly excellent service and food. The decor and atmosphere were divine.
This was one of our best dining experiences ever with or without livingsocial.
Went to this restaurant two days in a row it was that great! Was served by James Shay and he literally could not have done more to make our visit special. This was probably the best example of customer service I have ever had and I can not recommend this place strongly enough, food was amazing as well

The food. The wait staff. The hostess. Literally everything was amazing! We went there for our anniversary a few days ago and they made it so incredibly special, and I now dream about that Baked Macaroni. We will definitely be back! And thanks again! 😍👍🏻🙌🏻
Delicious food, excellent and attentive service! From the appetizers to the desserts, the chef's creations and preparations are amazing. Their dessert specialty, Smores bread pudding, is undeniably delightful! The creme Brule is one of the best I've had!

Love this place, food is absolutely amazing. Staff is friendly & knows the menu well enough to provide solid wine pairing ideas. Intimate setting, perfect for anniversaries but you can always go there during the day and grab a relaxing lunch. I will be returning soon & highly recommend everyone to come and visit.
You can keep Union Square Cafe and Gotham...give me Giorgio's any day. Killer food, friendly staff and a sexy but approachable vibe. The cherry on top...it is totally underpriced!

We stumbled upon this lovely spot while visiting a friend from TN and her family, the staff was accommodating and the food was delicious - they were able to get a table of 7 pulled together for us as a special favor, we will be back!
I have been going to Giorgios for over 20 years! Went for happy hour with my friend and had a fabulous time! Danny made a great cocktail and entertained us all nite. Two thumbs up for the fried oysters! Definitely going back soon!!!

Super nice staff was able to fit us in. The food was delicious, like absolutely outstanding. The seafood linguine was delicious and so was the grilled octopus. I highly recommend going. This is one of my favorite restaurants in New York.
Local Italian eatery. Fresh seafood, pasta and steaks. They have a good wine selection and full bar. There barrel aged cocktails are great and strong. They have outside seating and the atmosphere is very happening. Service is attentive and quick. Overall a good place to hangout or grab a bite with friends and colleagues after work.
Ernesto was a great server! Atmosphere and food were great. The pasta tasted FRESH and did not wait long for food at all. DELICIOUS AND I WILL BE BACK!!

Came in for lunch with my family and we ordered pastas from the menu. Our waiter was very personable and had a great knowledge of the menu. The portions were large and well worth the cost. Not once were our glasses of water empty as the server continuously refilled them. When looking over the dessert options, we had trouble making a choice (they all looked so good), so our waiter gave us one “on the house”. Giorgio’s is one of the best Italian restaurants I’ve been to, and I hope to be back next time I’m in Manhattan
The bolognese was a little too rich/creamy for my taste, but was ultimately good in its own way. Service was very good. We also enjoyed the desserts.
Came here for restaurant week. Was able to make an impromptu reservation a couple of hours prior. The waiter was very nice and kept asking if we needed anything else. The bottle of Riesling was beautifully paired with our dishes. The prosciutto and melon, steak and duck for mains were both very juicy and matched well with the sauces, and the bread pudding was so rich and creamy. Large portions.
Had a fabulous meal last night at Giorgio’s of Gramercy with a dear friend. The entire staff greeted us like family and when I jokingly asked for the air conditioning to be turned up, they did it right away! I had the pasta and short ribs which was delicious and my friend had been there before. Our waiter Michael (with a great mustache) showered us with attention and kindness—“I was the guy with sunflowers on my sweater Michael.” After our great meal we headed out and every server, waiter and bartender gave us fond good byes. What a pleasant experience in our hectic city. I cannot find a thing to be improved.
The food was excellent! And staffs are very friendly and I would love to come back again!
We have visited Giorgio’s twice in less than one-month. Both times the food and service have been phenomenal.
Their Don Julio 1942 margarita is one of the best margaritas I have ever had. Their burger is also great! Which was a pleasant surprise for a Italian restaurant, so much so, that our second visit was due to a craving for their burger and fries. Vodka pasta, great 👌Mushroom pasta, great 👌Salmon, great 👌
The ambiance is not the most trendy (90’s FRIENDS vibes) but I’ll accept good service and food over a “trendy” restaurant setting anytime!
This place is the best little spot for an intimate date. Excellent atmosphere, food and warm service.
The seafood is especially good and fresh. I just moved here but have tried this place for lunch and dinner.
Great wine, great cocktails. The owner and GM are Greek so there is a surprisingly large selection of Greek wine. As a sommelier, I love Greek wine. It’s the best value on the market currently.
It even has banquet space for up to 70 people upstairs.
6/5 stars if I could. The best of the old worlds food traditions combined with the warmth and innovation of New York.
We've been coming to Giorgio's for a meal when we're in NYC for nearly 20 meals. The food is good, the service is very good and the ambience is pleasant. From this visit the meatballs, the chicken martini and seafood linguine can be recommended.

Went here on New Year's Eve , had a reservation, I was seated immediately. Had a Phoenix cocktail to start , it's a mezcal cocktail and was nice for this time of year. My 2nd cocktail was a Mr Bourbon Toddy and it's big ! Too be honest if I'd gotten that first I would only have had one cocktail, it's enough for 2 people to share. My friend had a Paper Plane bourbon cocktail which is sophisticated and different. I liked that. And an blue Aviator cocktail which was nice but might be better in Spring or Summer. Started with Roasted Bluepoint Oysters appetizer which is delicious! Don't skip the appetizers! There was an earthy nice flavor on these roasted oysters and the juice left in the shells was nice to dip bread into ! The Charred Octopus was nice appetizer with chickpeas and greens too. For main I had the Salmon which was cooked great and had tasty grains with it. My friend had a steak which he liked and it came with tasty fingerling potato with fried herbs that was nice. Skip the side of fries as they're basic. Side of mashed potatoes would be better as they are homemade tasting and really nice and fluffy. Jazz soundtrack was playing as well as live band at one point. This is a classic place , great to bring out of town family . Definitely don't be in a rush when you come. Staff are nice .
Great service very attentive. Ok ambience. It’s quite loud though. Try the Chilean sea bass special. It was so good. The cedar plank salmon was also good. The seafood linguini also good but needed more garlic to seal that deal. The chicken martini left much to be desired. It missed the mark by far. I do not recommend that dish. The Giorgio cocktail was very good. The bread pudding was really a brownie with ice cream on top. It was good but it’s not bread pudding.
Went for lunch with coworkers. Service staff was friendly and attentive. Everything we had was good. The charred octopus starter was amazing and i highly recommend it. Can't go wrong with any of the pasta choices. Good food portion!
We came here on our minimoon to see NYC during the holiday. I choose this place for our first night. IT WAS AMAZING!!!!!! Beautiful, quaint, great staff and delicious food! I would definitely recommend, We would rate it 10 stars if I could!
Quaint, cute, delicious food. Upper quality food and delicious veal. Bread was made in house and not horrible. Needed some help as far as bartender services and willingness around a dirty glass.
Wheelchair accessible seating in the front by bay window. Learned of their fresh pasta made on location. Tasty rack of lamb properly prepared! Exceptional timely servicing.
Service and food were outstanding. First time to get a New York strip, as I normally get a filet or a ribeye and it was wonderful. Very impressed with the service. They even refilled our waters after we had been sitting and visiting for a while at the end!
