i would love to visit this place based on the reviews, i am a steak lover as well, and i am going to give this place a visitbduring thia week of course.
One of the best stake experience of lifetime. Juicy n yummy. Must try for all stake lovers. Sides, drinks are perfect. Great location & ambience .
This restaurant is in a great location with nice views and lively atmosphere. If your looking for something more quiet and intimate look elsewhere or maybe they have sections that were less busy than ours was. Food was delicious overall. My only reason for the four star is that the steak was very good but not excellent. The lemon cake dessert however was very memorable. Our waiter was professional and efficient and all in all recommend this restaurant without reservation. Suggestion would be to ask for more guidance in ordering your steak so it will better meets expectations.
Best steak in Manhattan for sure! Absolutely great service, great food and a great ambience. All the signs of a powerhouse lunch meeting in the afternoon, and a relaxed yet classy dining experience in the evening. Am sure they have a lot more good food on the menu, but we went straight for the prime ribeye. The Chilean sea bass was also good. Super cocktails with an outstanding Moscow mule.
I've been to Del Frisco's many times and each is greater than the last. I usually order a ribeyes and it is the most delicious piece of meat I have ever had the pleasure of tasting. Everything about Del Frisco's is amazing, and I can't say enough great things. The wait staff is great, but it is very clearly a place that caters to businessmen, as the women are not dressed the most appropriately--mostly small black skirts and stockings. I think this is designed to attract groups of guys from industries dominated men, like the stock market. This definitely works as I always see at least a few large tables with groups of men. Aside from the waitresses, again, the food is absolutely incredible and I have never had a negative experience. Everyone is extremely courteous and goes out of their way to make sure you have a positive experience and a wonderful time. I can't wait to go back!
I came here for my birthday dinner. This is definitely the best steak restaurant I have ever been to. We had a reservation for 7:00 and we were seated after waiting a very short time. The wait staff was all very friendly even though the restaurant was bustling. Our waiter gave us a warm greeting and listed the specials. He gave recommendations
Any person who lives in the city and eats meat knows of the infamous Del Frisco’s Dougle Eagle Steak House. Located conveniently in the heart of Midtown, this steak joint has welcomed people from all over to enjoy their rare steak cuts and fresh seafood. Recently, they rolled out a brand new menu which will allow New Yorkers to enjoy an even wider range of cuisine that will appeal to everyone. We had the immense pleasure of enjoying one of this season’s rare warm, sunny days on the outside patio sampling all of the added items to the new menu. Here’s what you need to know:

Excellent restaurant bar in Rockefeller theatre district on Manhattan. Seatings and mood are wonderful, waitresses are very friendly and always smiling. Food is delicious. I recommend Tuna Tacos and Crab cake as appetizers and all main courses are delicious. The filet mignon is delicious but it was really salty. Crunchy from outside and juicy from inside but again very salty.
The whole experience was great. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and very attentive to our needs. The whole 'pit stop' style of fast food delivery and clean up with a crew of waiters made things very quick. The meals that the 5 of us had were all fantastic, with the steaks cooked to perfection. The house cocktail of the night was also great. One gripe would be that it appeared as if the lights directly above our table brightened as soon as we finished our meals. Perhaps a subtle 'get out' gesture. That asside, the whole experience was pleasurable.
Perfection. Hands down best steakhouse in the world.

Top steak house in midtown. Best crab cakes ever with spicy sauce. Extensive wine list, great service and best of all is the beef. I usually get rib eye or filet. Sitting upstairs a bit quieter in the loud midtown favourite.
Really enjoyed. Excellent service - really great. Steak was very good, as were sides and dessert (cheesecake). "Business lunch" a fantastic deal. Vibrant lunch atmosphere in a nice spot.
The best bone in filet I have ever had in my life. Period. Service was impeccable. Wine selection was excellent, but be prepared to pay for it.
Our Favorite Steak Paradise!!!!. Recently I was craving a good quality steak, and I know the right place to go. Del Fresco Double Eagle Steak House is one of our favorite restaurant in financial district. Good quality meat carefully cooked to perfection. I started with Classic Caesar Salad and my wife ordered Turtle Soup, both were wonderful. For Entrees I ordered my all time favorite Wagyu "LONGBONE" and my wife had Filet Mignon absolutely delicious and done to a right temperature. Once the dinner settled down ,we shared heavenly delicious Praline Parfait. Overall a great experience
Fantastic Midtown Vew. As a habitue for NYC's beautiful people and financial district I suppose you could find your Carrie Bradshaw here at Del Frisco's if you were single, but as for me I was a man on a mission. Medicinally influenced by a predisone taper I was hellbent on finding carnivorous delights.
Situated near NBC studious with towering windows overlooking Radio City Music Hall Del Frisco's matched the exciting view with an upbeat ambience. The decor and music was tailored to a young financial district crowd: loud, large, hip, and modernist.
The menu offered standard samplings of filet, ribeye, lamb, and porterhouse, and also a salivating cure for Sjogen's syndrome, a 32 oz American Wagyu LongBone at 93 dollars. The ribeye was bite for bite delicious and I bet only a few lions lurking in the South African Sarah were enjoying their meat more. A perfect complement was the maque choux corn (a classiically cajun dish with well seasoned cream corn and a scant amount of peppers and onions delivering a fresh off the cob crunch).
Of honarable mention the beefsteak tomato salad was fresh with mozzarella and onion covered in mild blue cheese crumbles that didn't overwelm the flavor (tomatoes were fresh despite the season)
I didn't pass up the water's complimentary cheesecake, but his tip was secured despite this largess: the service was fantastic.

It is one of the best places i have ever went to! Steaks are amazing service is great and the lobster was delicious! My personal favor is the side order asparagus!!
Fantastic service! Great great great steaks!! Yum!! Would go again in a heartbeat!!
A NY favorite. We eat at this restaurant every time we visit NYC, and we have never been disappointed. The quality is second to none. I am very picky about steaks, and this is one of the few places I always look forward to ordering one. The service is always beyond our expectations. The menu offers something for everyone, and everything is always prepared just right. Try their crab cakes..the are excellent, and contain very little filler! It is very pricey, but worth every penny!
Great food wonderful atmosphere! Real NYC vibe
Simply the best!. My FAVORITE steakhouse in the city! The food is always great! The service is always great! The place is pricey but worth it! Enjoy!
Food always tastes better when it's company expensed! The king crab gnocchi and jumbo scallops were amazing!
Just great overall. Great food. We had the best server in the room. we've never tipped so much.
Meat madness. Top notch from beginning to end. A little on the pricey side for some tastes, but we thought the surroundings, quality of food and superior level of service from sara warranted the price. Add Del Frisco's to your "must try" steakhouse list.
Great Experience if......... This place is extraordinarily special, although pricey. I suppose you pay for what you get. I was fortunate to have an unused "gift card", so I could relax and enjoy. The three of us had scrumptious steaks, some of the city's best. Beautiful bottle of wine, and all the trimmings. What was really spectacular was the service, attention to detail, atmosphere, and location --across from Radio City, especially nice at holiday time. Nice mix of 'big' businessmen, families, a few tourists, and locals. Kudos to the front of house, and the servers. Luckily I didn't have to see the bill, but if, or rather, when, I am in a position to go there more often, this will be and is a DEFINATE must. I bet there's lots of Knick fans here -prior to game,and/or plenty of NBA fans.
Where should i start? The lovely mahogany wood trim, the towering wine cellar or the amazing rib eye? My favorite place to eat in NYC, I know lougers is the staple of steak house in NY but del friscos comes a close second.
In my opinion this is the best steak house in NY!! The atmoohere is as good as it gets, the service is impeccable, and the steaks are dead on perfect!!! Really ...it doesn't get ant better then this!!
Amazing. This is the pearl of the great NYC. Service, staff, and friendliness like none other. Food: Outstanding. Next vacation to NY will kick off with the Filet Mignon. WILL ALWAYS GO BACK
Great Steak & Great Customer Service. At Del Frisco's you'll get a great steak, cooked just the way you like it. You'll also get fantastic bread, salads, and seafood, and wonderful desserts if you can find room. The service is outstanding: attentive without being intrusive. When a young diner wanted some simple chocolate for dessert, a plate appeared even though it was clearly not on the menu.
Best steakhouse ever. Blows peter lugers out of the water, their steaks cut like butter. the potato dishes and oven baked onion rings are all mouth watering and the lemon cake is the best in the city
Good steaks. The steak was very good, however it ranked second behind sparks.
None Better. This is as good as it gets. Incredible food, amazing surrounding, awesome vibe and the staff just couldn't be better. Make sure you ask for help with the wine list...
Absolutely the best steakhouse in NYC from the FRIED OYSTERS to the potatoes AU GRATIN to the BONE IN RIB EYE everything is off the hook!
Well informed server and attentive but not overbearing service. VERY expensive but the food is great. Perfectly cooked steaks and homemade bread and salad dressings. Dining room was s bit loud but cozy banquettes mare up for it. Festive atmosphere
Awesome! Also ran into Plaxico Burros!
Great Food. By far my favorite restaurant in NYC. The steaks are always cooked to order and the house salad with the bacon on is amazing. Don't forget to try the mac and cheese and crab cake....simply amazing!
Posted on 02/23/2015 by filbio310 Damn good filet mignon to go along with a wonderful sazerac cocktail. Classy boisterous joint to feed your inner carnivore. On my recent visit to this sleek and sexy haven of meat deliciousness and quality libations Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steak House in NYC did not disappoint. Definitely a touch of fancy bulked up on testosterone in midtown that attracts a mix of tourists and locals alike. Even an occasional celebrity. Large sprawling restaurant with plenty of seating, thick dark woods, marble floors and stairs, high ceilings, and a huge bar anchoring this spot. Even on the rainy midweek late night that a friend brought me here the joint was jumping and amped up. Many people were still in business suits dining away on plates of meat while closing that deal or meeting up with their mistresses. Maybe even a paramour or two. Groups happily engaged in conversation. Women in designer dresses having a drink at the bar. The smell of finely cooked meat wafting through the air when brought about by a waiter. A lively manly man scene, but sexy enough to draw in plenty of ladies too. We sat at the bar area and received terrific service. I like to sit at the bar areas in places like this as you can get a real feel for the joint and chat with those around us, along with the bartenders. Be friendly. Get to know the bar staff and managers, and you might get something in return for treating them good. They are real people too and appreciate the gesture. Plus, they offer inside info on what to order, what is freshest, and what the cooks are doing well that night. As for my dinner? Oh, my filet was cooked just as I ordered. Medium rare with a pink middle. Asparagus side was perfect. Warm bread to start. Molten chocolate cake for dessert. All washed down with an expertly made sazerac cocktail. Delicious. As this was a last minute suggestion to go here the choice could not have been better that evening. Can be pretty pricey as you can figure, but wo
Then I had to try their famous crab cakes! I was not disappointed! It was made with jumbo lump crab. Not sure how they made the crab cakes stay together, but it was clearly not by preparing them with lots of different ingredients that would have overshadowed the taste of the crab. I wanted crab and I got crab!
One of my favorite steakhouses in NYC. This place is classier and trendier than other old man steak houses like Sparks and Peter Lugers. Place never let's me down with their quality of food and service. However place can get loud at dinner time.
Amazing meal! The crab cakes appetizer (recommendation from waiter) were the best I’ve ever had. Service was incredible. View through the window was gorgeous (Christmas season). All-in-all I highly recommend
Our favorite place for dinner and good wine. Atmosphere is friendly and staff are very welcoming. Food is absolutely perfect every time. The Caesar salad, salmon steak, filet were perfect. Wines are some of the best.
What a great experience! The food was delicious and fresh! Huge onion rings and amazing fresh warm 🍞 bread with butter...mmmm also steak made me very happy, because I sm very picky when it comes to steak! The views of festive New York with great music snd amazing service ❤️ Thank you so much to the owner for making sn ordinary night so special 😊
I came here with a couple of co workers, we sat at the bar initially we wanted a table but had to wait a long time for it. Best decision made was to stay at the bar, our bartender Dan made our night incredible, delicious drink, every recommendation he made was outstanding, his services was 100/10, like please give this guy a raise. I’ll be coming back soon because lucky me, I work really close.
Came for a business lunch at $39 each. Tbh, it’s a good deal, you get an entree and a starter. I got the steak medallions but if you like steak, it probably won’t hit like that. Next time I’d take the salmon instead.
Otherwise it’s a really fancy, corporate environment type place. Come for the vibes, for more than food.
This was one of the best meals we had in NYC! Didn’t realize we had a Del Frisco’s in our new hometown but will definitely visit at home when we’re feeling steak or crab cakes. Hazelnut espresso martini was delicious, crab cakes were phenomenal, and steak was perfect. Butter cake was delicious as well!
This is my all time favorite steakhouse in NYC. Unfortunately it's been a few years since I've eaten there and feel like things have moved toward mass dining vs a true fine dining experience. Our entire meal was delicious with the exception of undercooked brussel sprouts. You could tell that all the salads, appetizers, and sides had been predished and sitting under a hot lamp due to the crust that had formed on the top of the food. The service was excellent and I guess because everything was already sitting waiting to go... Came out very fast. The staff was great about the brussels and removed them from the bill. I also feel like the cheese cake changed - I recall it being super light and fluffy - maybe I'm wrong but this was heavier and dense. While I did not try it, my friends said the cauliflower steak was excellent and it was great to see they had a perfect vegetarian option.
I visited this location for a special occasion and had Rommel as my server. The meal was absolutely fantastic, NYC is known for its steak and this location definitely delivered. The bread they brought out was warm & delicious.. it was easy to fill up on. The ahi tuna starter was fresh and the meatballs were soft and more ish. The steak itself cooked to perfection and the mushrooms paired well with it. The butter cake was our finale and it really closed off the night well. I can’t speak highly enough of this place, and Rommel’s fantastically, attentive service he provided.
While not my absolute favorite steakhouse in NYC, I have always really liked and recommend Del Frisco's Double Eagle steakhouse in Midtown Manhattan, primarily for the outstanding overall experience. The "business" lunch special is always fantastic, and the atmosphere for lunch or dinner is amazing. It's definitely a top 5 or 6 steakhouse in Manhattan and a place that I always recommend for people visiting Midtown Manhattan.
It honestly doesn’t get better than this place. Everything is perfect and if I can give them more than 5 stars I would. From the steak to the butter and to the sides nothing disappoints here. Always worth the 1 hour drive to get here
Outstanding! Always a winner! Great food, awesome drinks, and great service.
My two bartenders Nataliya and Dan were exceptional! Every time I come here, I am more impressed.
Nataliya was a true Rock Star! I have never seen anyone behind a bar work harder than her. It was obvious that she loves what she does and cares about where she works.....Truly one of the best. She is a tremendous professional and a real gem. If I had a business, she would be someone that I would want to represent me!
I look forward to my return!
My time at del Frisco was phenomenal. Jody made a great welcome for me on my birthday and my waiter Peter did over the top service for us at our table. I will be back again!
Del Frisco's is definitely an experience you must have. From the warm welcome when you first enter the restaurant, all the way to the bathroom attendant. The atmosphere was beautiful, the staff was friendly, the food was exceptional, and if there's any type of issues, Jesse, the manager will guide you through it. This restaurant is a must for special occasions.
Yum!! 12/10 recommend, food was phenomenal and staff was very good. Price is expensive for steak houses of this quality but worth the splurge for special events. Real Kobe steak available, lots of steak options including aged, seafood options and delicious sides
Had a great time, food was delicious. Our server was amazing. First time for my wife in NY and she loved it .
