My family and I (group of 7) had a reservation for 7pm and they seated us promptly. All staff were wonderful. We were celebrating a belated Thanksgiving dinner tonight. Our server, Giuseppe was wonderful. Very attentive, smiling face, and overall great. I have been coming here since they opened and they never disappoint. My only gripe (if you can call it that, lol) was that the food was so good and filling that we had no room in our tummies for dessert - next time :) Thank you
FYI: Ordered Bufala Pizza, Bruschetta, Cesare, Rucola, and Estiva Salads, Gnocchi, Montanarine Rigatoni Alla Norma.
My friends from Milan introduced me to this place about 10 years ago and Luzzo’s instantly became my favorite pizzeria. I have converted many skeptics through the years and now we all agree, best pizza in NYC or USA for that matter.
Every time my husband & I go into NYC we have to hit Luzzo's, our absolute favorite pizza! The sauce that they use is delicious and the crust is like air, so light & full of flavor. I had a pasta dish for the first time on Saturday night and it didn't dissapoint. Rigatoni with tomato sauce, a scoop of fresh ricotta, Basil & grated cheese!! So good:) We have tried many of the pizzas and the are all good but our favorite is the tartufata: tomato sauce, mozzarella, truffle paste and fresh basil!!
If you are in NYC be sure to try this place, you will not be disappointed:)
Great coal oven pizza. Char crust and hot. Nice wines to go along. And the pasta dishes are just as good. Great service to boot. Lombardi's has nothing over this place.
First of all the food is the best Italian around. Closest thing to pizza in Napoli you can find. But that's just the beginning. Gianni and the rest of the staff are incredible - friendly, patient, accommodating, and always go the extra mile to make sure you're satisfied. Every time I go, they go above and beyond to hook it up. You'll never leave hungry or dissatisfied
Ottima pizza , fai fatica pure in Italia trovarla così buona , merita veramente
Delicious! Great pizza and great atmosphere! I would recommend!
Amazing. We had the prosciutto and mozzarella appetizer, it was unreal, and the pizza fritta that I can't stop thinking about. Wish I lived closer, this would be our go to place! Awesome staff, great service, wonderful food.
Amazing pizza! We were recommended this place by a friend and it certainly didn't disappoint!
The first bite of Luzzo's Pizza is eye-rolling, deeply-satisfied-groaning delicious...and each bite after that is the same.
Arguably the best pizza in NY! :)
Definitely a great place for pizza lovers!
Best pizza in the city... family atmosphere and reasonably priced...!!!

Restaurante super interessante e agradável, aos fins de semana é super movimentado e perfeito para quem curte um ambiente estilo pub.
Já durante a semana é mais tranquilo e perfeito para jantares mais sociais.
I’ve come to New York on vacation. Me and my family stumbled upon Luzzo’s Pizza and decided to give it a try. I really mean it when i say that Luzzo’s Pizza offered the best service and pizza that I have ever had in my life. The staff and manager were fantastic and the pizza was phenomenal. The manager even took our family picture!! I will never forget Luzzo’s and will definitely come back the next time I find myself in New York!!
Pizza was delicious! All the ingredients where fresh and pizza was made in the moment! The guy who served us was so kind with all of us, highly recommended! Also try the lemonade is from Italy and taste so good!
Randomly went for pizza 20 mins before closing. The gentleman at the counter was very kind. Pizzas are delicious, brick oven style. We also asked if they could use a clean pizza cutter for our dietary restriction and they were happy to accommodate. Would definitely recommend and will be returning myself.
I absolutely loved the pizza at that restaurant, especially the Funghi one! The flavors were amazing, the smell was heavenly, and the crust was perfectly crispy and chewy. It was a truly outstanding experience!"
Luzzos moved to Avenue B, recently. new space is airy, lots of light, and catches a great breeze when the are windows open on cool sunny days. modern casual pizza restaurant vibes with warm friendly aesthetic. i believe they do table service—not sure as i always grabbed takeout. open from lunch to dinner daily.
the pizza served here is Neapolitan. pizza is sold by the slice, 12” pie and 16” pie. i like the simplicity of ingredients of a Margherita pizza —cheese, sauce, crust and fresh basil leaves. the quality of Luzzo’s Margherita speaks for itself in a slice. quality ingredients come together for a tasty slice of thin crust with some chew, the balance of a fresh tomato sauce, smooth blobs of mozzarella, and the aroma of basil on top. last time, I walked out with a slice and it was just the right amount of snack that i wanted in carbs, $3 + tax + tip
staff is pretty informal and it seems like it is very much family run.
Nice, quaint, and very clean pizzeria. Sweet little marble-topped tables, a great pizza oven, and a variety of soft drinks from Italy. Best-rated pizzeria in the immediate vicinity.
We had a meat slice and the Margherita slice. Slightly crunchy crust with a soft middle and fresh toppings. Staff were very nice and helpful. If you're in the neighborhood, stop by for a very good slice and great service! 🍕
Food was great. The FDA recently announced all Plastic is dangerous when used as containers for food. Especially hot food which can cause the plastic to leech chemicals into the food. Please use Aluminum instead. I would love to order again!
I ate here a while ago and I still think about it. It was delicious. I got the gnocchi Sandwich thing. It was so filling. Definitely enough for 2 people or 2 meals. Sauce was amazing and the gnocchi was perfect. Can't wait to cone back.
So my daughter has a list of places to eat and this little gem was one of them. From the minute we walked in we fell in love with the decore and the wine bottles hanging on the walls. The staff made you feel welcoming which is a plus. The calamari were perfect and my daughter used there dressing with the hot pepper flakes as a sauce, it was perfect since we love spice. We will definitely be going back to try other dishes. Great way to celebrate a 15th birthday dinner. Ladies night at in NYC :)
Still a great place for Neopolitan pizza in NYC. I could just eat their pizza crust as its that good by itself. Eggplant Parmigana was excellent starter, highly recommend
Delicious thin crust pizza with great service. The design in this restaurant is pretty cool as well. Ordered a large pizza with 2 drinks and the total was about $20 per person including tips.
One of my favorite pizzerias in the city. Their wood-fired crust is to die for, and the different varieties have something for everyone. The pasta is fresh and delicious as well.
Good quality pizza, beer and meatballs. They definitely give you a good heaping of spicy salami with the diavola
They also have a kids pasta option as well which was nice.
Came here with two other friends and we each ordered a small pie. I got the small square and it took 25 mins to make which is fine since we are sharing. Each pie was delicious. One was sausage, cheese, and olives and the other one has roasted garlic. Never knew I would enjoy eating a clove of garlic! My square has the best crust. Btw they do not serve alcohol.
my first New York pizza experience, pretty satisfying
The glass walls light the room with the bright gray of winter, and it makes the red pizza on the counter look even more appetizing.
I had the basic margarita slice. The buffalo mozzarella was creamy, the crust was fluffy, and the sauce was subtle. Overall, the whole experience felt like a smooth drive.
I personally lean toward more chewy cheese and tangy sauce, but this pizzeria is executing a "smoother" style extremely well.
On my second visit, I ordered a pizza with sausage, olives, mozzarella, and ricotta. I didn't particularly notice the olives, which was wonderful because I don't like olives and just got them to appease friends. The sausage added savoriness to the smoothness, and it was incredible.
The creamy mozzarella and sharper ricotta battled for supremacy in my mouth. I loved it in that guilty way that makes you feel like you should go on a several-mile walk afterward. Don't worry, they have lighter slices as well :)

Quiet at the time we were rher, so I wouldn't rate the ambiance, but very nice people, and most importantly, very good pizzas :)
