Tonights pre-theater dinner was fantastic! Our first time here and we will be back again. Our waitress Alejandra was very prompt and professional. The chef prepared our dinners with talent. The big butterfly shrimp & risotto melted in your mouth with bursts of flavor. My veal piccata could not have tasted any better. It was tender and you could every mouthful only a chef with experience could prepare.I have to commend the owners for a top-notch run restaurant.Victor, Marco & Phil, you have mastered the art of a fine dining establishment.Thank you for a wonderful experience.
Both the food and service were fantastic! Our group had the spaghetti carbonara, lasagna, bistecca alla fiorentina and the veal martini! Every dish was delicious (we all tried a little of each persons meal)...the service couldn’t have been better—attentive but not intrusive. This will absolutely be a regular stop when we visit the city!
By far my favorite restaurant! I try to go as often as I can, and never had a bad meal. The food and service is excellent! And the 3 brothers who are the owners always make you feel at home.
Highly recommend the Frito Misto app, the Rigatoni Focaccia or Rigatoni Trecolori entree and the Tartufo (best in all Manhattan) for dessert.
Excellent food. Service was great! They went out of their way to accommodate our grandson who has food allergies! Highly recommend this place!!
Excellent food, divine desserts and our waiter was the best! Best food we had in NYC!
Highly recommend, service was great, food was delicious and worth the money.
Nestled in between a matinee and a train ride upstate. Timing not terribly relevant, however. A superb meal from start to finish with service to match. Incredible halibut on one place and osso buco on another. And then that dessert. Thank you.
We were lucky to get seated because we didn’t have reservations. They sat us upstairs at the bar because that’s all they had available. At first I was disappointed but we figured we were hungry and the show was an hour away.
I had the house Cab which was great. Just what I was looking for dry and full of flavor. My wife ordered the gnocchi and I had a special request shrimp oregana. They were both amazing! Simple food done right. Old fashioned Italian like I grew up on. With the shrimp I had spaghetti with garlic in oil. Simple right...... it must have been the best I ever had. It sounds silly but to make this right takes someone who knows what he or she is doing. Garlic sliced paper thin, sauté lightly golden. Fresh parsley, extra virgin olive oil, grated cheese, and cooked to perfection. I will return for sure. I will not wait until I have a show that’s for sure.
Excellent food and service ! From the wine to the sauce to the veal dinners and desert. Definitely will be back !
My first time here, second for my wife. A very busy place but you’d never know with the speed of service from great staff. Our waiter was pleasant and attentive. Food was excellent! Definitely go back.
Amazing food, great staff and you’d pay triple in other restaurants in the area for a mediocre meal.
My absolute favorite restaurant!! Excellent food, wine and desserts. I come here every time I’m in the city. It’s a must.
Outstanding food and service! Veal parm and eggplant parm along with calimari set the stage before Springsteen on Broadway! Trattoria Trecolori is always a best bet!
Had reservations here before a show. The location was perfectly convienent to the theater disctrict! They were able to seat us earlier then our reservation. The atmosphere is quaint and the service was excellent. We started with the appetizer Fritto Misto of fried calamari, shrimp and veggies. Delicious. I had the tortellini, which I will say was the best tortellini I have ever had. You can tell that it was freshly made and the peas and prosciutto topped it off. My fiancé had the gnocchi and described it as perfect. The sauce was amazing. I finished up with chocolate gelato and it did not disappoint. Would definitely go back!!
This is our go to restaurant in midtown and today did not disappoint. We went after a broadway show and had a reservation. We were greeted by the host and seated promptly. All of our servers were friendly and attentive. All of our meals were excellent. We had the caprice salad, fried mozzarella for appetizers. For main courses we had chicken Parmigiana, rigatoni with vodka sauce and Chicken Fantasia all of which were excellent. I would highly recommend Trattoria Trecolori for a great meal at reasonable prices.
Incredible experience at Trattoria Trecolori. Amazing service and atmosphere. The food was as good as it gets for Italian food in the US. The rigatoni was excellent. The chocolate mousse cake was fantastic.
When I come back to NYC, I will do my best to return!
We decided to celebrate my wife's birthday at this restaurant before heading to a Broadway show, and it turned out to be an incredible dining experience. The food surpassed all expectations and can easily be considered some of the best I've ever had. From the mouthwatering Fettucini Alfredo and Gnochi with homemade noodles and sauce to the heavenly tiramisu and lattes, every dish was simply out of this world. Carlos, our waiter, along with the rest of the wait staff, provided impeccable service, showing great attentiveness to our needs. Without a doubt, we will be returning to this restaurant when we visit again.

My husband took me here for our first anniversary dinner. The vibe and atmosphere was great. The server was very attentive. The food was good, but it was not as great as I was expecting. I'm a pretty tough critic when it comes to Italian food, and I was hoping that it would be more authentic. My husband got the carbonara, which he loved. And I got the Gnocchi. It was still good! Just not amazing.
Enjoyed a spectacular, soul-warming dinner here at 8pm on a Sunday without a reservation - the place was buzzing, but we still didn't have to wait to get a table. You can taste the freshness and care in every dish. This is Italian food done right - bringing out the exquisite quality of simple ingredients without needing to be overly fussy. Service was wonderfully attentive.
I stopped in here on a whim before a show across the street and so glad I did. I was just looking for a quick, light lunch. I was able to get 2 seats at the bar. We ordered a few appetizers and dessert. The charcuterie was fresh and had a great selection of meats and cheeses. But the real star of the show was the frutti di mare. The service was excellent and so were the prices. It was clean and cozy inside. Highly recommend!
Ordered the Martini Veal, and it was so very good. We had no reservations, so we're seated at the bar, but we had very good service nonetheless. The draft Peroni needed a little attention from the deft barman. However, they were a great accompaniment to the veal. Highly recommended, I would definitely do again.
This place is amazing!! I came here with my boyfriend and his family. There were 9 of us. I ordered linguini alfredo and it was soo good. Definitely the best alfredo I‘ve ever had from a restaurant. My boyfriend ordered some lamb chops which were also really good. His family all loved their food. This place is pricey but it‘s definitely worth the money.
Food was incredible, the crab and red snapper ravioli special was out of this world. Chicken marsala was well loved too. Service was great from the second we walked in. Will definitely be back
We were visiting NYC to cheer on some family running the New York Marathon and we met up here for lunch. What an excellent choice it was. It has a great, easy to get to, Times Square location. The menu had something for everyone, and, as an out-of-towner and midwesterner, I thought the prices were very reasonable. The special, a grouper in a puttanesca sauce over linguine, was delicious. My wife loved her veal piccata, and the pasta carbonara was excellent as well. When we return to NYC, we will definitely return to Trattoria Trecolori.
We arrived close to 4pm on a Wednesday. We were seated immediately. The restaurant was well staffed, staff was friendly, responsive and respectful. The food was amazing! Being vegetarians, we ordered pasta with mushroom. Both orders were delicious. We had Tiramisu for dessert, it was light yet heavenly.
Would definitely return.
A peaceful place to dine with friends right on the middle of the Theatre District. Nicely/warmly decorated with lots of exposed brick!! Excellent menu - enjoyed our appetizers and a lots of entrees offered - excellent portions!! The Wait and Bar Staff were friendly and courteous. Prices were very fair for NYC. Recommend highly … and of course, we’ll be back!!
The food was good but the restaurant was not only clean but nicely decorated for holidays. The staff was amazing, very friendly and attentive. Food came out fast and the portions were perfect so there were no leftovers to carry around
Superb Italian food right in the theater district. Great for a quick bite before a show. Wasn't overpriced like most suchi places. Great service too.
The sea bass just just perfection.
Had the spaghetti carbonara and tiramisu. Both were bursting with flavor. I highly recommend this place especially if you need a quick bite before going to a Broadway show.
