Our first time stopping in, and we enjoyed a great meal.
The menu is large, prices are good, portions are substantial and all our dishes and drinks were tasty. Nice spot for brunch/lunch and some people watching, if you are lucky enough to get one of the lone tables along Hudson Street.
There was a wait to be seated, but not very long if you have a small party.
This was a cute little brunch spot. Although small and cozy their service was very attentive. The food was delicious as well. We tried calamari, the stuffed breakfast croissant, Cobb salad and spaghetti bolognese. So yummy!!!! Definitely will be coming back and highly recommend!
Wonderful cozy neighborhood brunch with nice service and vibes ✨
We shared the French’s toast and I got steak and eggs, it’s was all delicious 😋 ☀️
Great all around! Fair price point and good-sized portions. Everything we had was very good but the chocolate chip pancakes were certainly the top order. Will definitely return!
I initially stopped here because of Taylor Swifts song “The 1” the lyrics go “I thought I saw you at the bus stop I didn’t though” Now I didn’t know this was a cafe until I saw a tiktok. So naturally since I was in NYC it was a must stop! The food was fantastic!!!!! 13/10 I ordered the challah French toast and sausage. I also got a mimosa. I never saw sausage like that before and they were so delicious and juicy and flavorful. The food was inexpensive. The staff were very kind. It’s a very cute and tiny place. I totally recommend! I will be coming back every-time im in the city!
We stumbled across this place for lunch and it was such good luck. I got the chicken avocado sandwich and it was unbelievably delicious! My partner got a chicken club...which I also helped him with and it was amazing too. The staff were friendly and many spoke Spanish too, if that is your native language.
It had a cute atmosphere with nice outdoor seating spaces. As it's on one of the quieter roads, you don't get the fumes from cars invading the area.
Their breakfast specials come with coffee or tea and fresh made OJ. It’s perfect. The Sunny Side Eggs over Focaccia was the best open faced breakfast sandwich with fresh arugula, Turkey & Avocado. The coffee refills are free, the service was excellent and the outdoor seating had a great view of the farmers market setting up. Would 100% come back.
Cute little place on a charming corner (literally a bus stop) that’s been around forever. I used to go here years ago and just came back for the first time in perhaps 15 years or more. I’ve only ever had breakfast here.
The hardworking staff keeps the place buzzing, cheerful and welcoming service. My omelette was delicious and my guests all had corned beef hash, that got mixed reviews. I’ll give it another try one day soon.
Bus stop cafe is one of my favorite diners in the west village. Truly a no frills diner with reasonable prices, which is surprising for the east village.
We got the filled croissant and omelet with hot chocolate. However, you cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. The Belgium waffle is delicious too!
The place is extremely cozy, especially in the winter. Booths are spacious and the staff is incredibly attentive.
If you have friends in town, this is a great spot to take them. You can even see the buses passing by… hence the name.
10/10 would recommend.
Nice place for a quick morning breakfast. Went in on a Sunday late morning, got a table in 15 minutes. Got a veggie omelette, the taste was good. The potatoes were especially nice. Would go again to try the other items.
