A little gem worth tracking down

This really seems to be a little bit of Paris tucked away in Manhattan. I had a superb meal in unpretentious surroundings. On a Tuesday night the place was busy and the atmosphere fun and friendly.

This little French bistro is tucked away on the quieter side of Murray Hill and is fantastic for dates. I've been twice now, and it doesn't disappoint! Order the Bistrot Steak Frites. The hangar steak quality is phenomenal -- it's melt-in-your-mouth perfectly medium rare, and the red wine shallot sauce is BANGING! Oh, and ask for mayo and ketchup with those fries. Haven't tried much else there except the French Onion Soup which I could of done without. But I still DREAM of that steak!

Perfect evening. My 92-year-old aunt eats here often and we were welcomed warmly by the owner and staff. I had the salmon which I asked to be more than seared. My son had the chicken with a side of fries and my aunt had the trout. All were delicious. The decaf cappuccino s were perfect.

Absolutely lovely, a slice of France! Wish I could've tried one of everything on the menu but the salmon was delish.

The Coq Au Vin was amazing, the escargot delicious and the service was top notch. Small cozy place. Definitely recommend a reservation this place is busy at dinner time every time. A favorite place of mine in NYC they never disappoints.

Such a gem of a place! Super tiny, walking into this place immediately transports you to Paris. Excellent choice of French bistrot classics - I had the escargot, pan fried chicken and crème brûlée. All were outstanding. And they have a very affordable selection of wines that you can order by the carafe. Top notch!

Cozy and small french restaurant in Murray Hill! We went in without a reservation but got seated right away. Enjoyed the duck confit but the steak was a slightly tough and the apple tart was a bit mushy.

A very nice tiny restaurant in the neighborhood. They got some very interesting dishes. Loved the calf liver and the desserts I tried. The people at the restaurant were really friendly and took really good care of us. Even though I visited around lunch time, the restaurant wasn't fully crowded.

Have been here many times for dinner, most recently last night. Food, service, ambiance all make you feel you're in Paris. Escargots are always delicious, and the duck confit and salmon were excellent.

A lovely restaurant with French atmosphere in a cosy environment. The food was superb, we both had the duck, and the service was excellent and staff most friendly. We'd go again without a doubt.

The duck confit and beet salad was amazing. Highly recommend getting the cream brulee. The custard will melt in your mouth. My party and I arrived around 8:30 pm and was able to get a table easily.

My spouse and I had an early dinner here before going to a broadway play. I love their food. It’s so tasty, well presented, and done. The hostess (who I believe are the owners, but it's my guess) are very friendly and courteous. They seem to be very busy on weekends, so make reservations days ahead.

Lovely place for brunch. The salmon scrambled eggs were delicious! Coffee is included with most brunch plates. Service was quick and workers friendly.

Ok, this is one of my favorites now. All from service to ambiance to food, loved it all. I had the specials of the day and wasn't wrong, excellent salad with fresh ingredients, lamb which was tender and flavorful, dessert which was just the right amount of sweet and pretty. Wine selection a bourdaux reserve that went perfect with the food. Will be back for sure.

This is a terrific find. Excellent French bistrot cuisine, modest but very good menu choices. Great value and affordable French wines. Just off the beaten track, well worth finding. Friendly welcome with efficient service, and great quality. A hidden gem!

Le Parisien Bistrot - it feels like you're in a French cafe (going by what my friend who has been to France says - so I cannot personally vouch for that). What I can vouch for is the Eggs Benedict (why have I capitalized that you ask? Because I wanted to get rid of the red underline). I can also vouch for the french onion soup and wonderful hospitality which is quite unlike NYC. Ask for a dessert menu - you will not be disappointed. It can get a little packed in there - but hey, it's NYC and real estate is at a premium.

A cute French place for small group gathering. Brunch was great, delicious food with mimosa or other drinks for just $16. Service was fantastic! Will definitely go back to check out dinner menu.

The roasted chicken was everything I was hoping for. Just like you’d receive an a Paris café. That atmosphere was enchanting, and the service was impeccable.
