This is another one of those iconic and classic New York City (more Manhattan specific) diners with an update street facing sign. The restaurant was reasonable small with tightly pack banquets nominally seating two people with a few able to fit four people (but make sure you are all very friendly because you will inevitably be touching one another). The menu options are typical for a diner...all day breakfast, burgers and the like. I enjoyed a traditional eggs over easy with a side of pancakes and it arrived very quickly and as expected. The service was also classic with a chatty waitress always, almost motherly, checking up on you and making sure your coffee mug is never less than half full. Enjoy!

Authentic NYC experience. I went there twice. Sitting there, sipping my coffee, looking at people, listening to the noise of people talking, it all was a very cool experience. Food, coffee, everything was lovely. The only thing is that Pastrami sandwich, despite being tasty, was quite difficult to chew, but it's just the way that meat is.

my friends and i went here today to grab some brunch, and immediately thought the place was super cute. although they were extremely busy (almost every single table was full), we only waited about five minutes before getting seated. we waited about seven minutes before our order was taken, but our waitress was extremely nice. the table was a bit small, but for the three of us, we made it work. however, my friends and i waited about 45 minutes before getting our food (for context, one of us got a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich, and the two of us got a stack of pancakes with fruit. we also ordered a side of eggs and bacon to share, along with a side of fries). our waitress did not communicate with us regarding the food, which was disappointing in itself. there were a few tables that came in after us that did get food before us. once we got the food, it was pretty good. the pancakes were good, along with the eggs and bacon. as for my friend's bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich: she had this mysterious green spots on half of her bread. it did not look like mold, but we were unsure of what it was so she ate around it. the french fries were delicious though!! overall, this diner is extremely cute and very friendly. however, i will say that when they are busy, expect to wait a decent amount of time for your food

Great comfort food and more. Large menu. Quality stuff and well prepared. Served with a smile. I have the chicken pot pie (daily special). Loaded with white meat and veggies--too much to eat. Great cheesecake (of course--it's a deli). Coffee warms the heart. Fair prices and the type of place that fast becoming extinct in this "eat in a hurry/take out city". Enjoy it while you can.

Stumbled upon a corner diner near the Design Center. Perfect spot to grab a quick bite to eat. Friendly and fast. Ordered a beet salad with hot coffee. Generous portion of salad and very fresh. Like the dressing served on the side. Thank you for the friendly service and nice experience. ☕️🥗🍴

We were in the city for a few days, saw this diner a block away from our hotel. We stopped by for breakfast, great service and environment. The food was okay, waffles were good, bagel was mediocre, fresh coffee.

Have just got back home from NY discovered this lovely dinner whilst we were there. Went a couple of times for breakfast and one evening. Lovely food, friendly staff and spotlessly clean.

True new york city diner experience. If you're craving a good, quick, diner meal, this is your place. Scored it a little low on the atmosphere simply because this is not a fine dining experience. It is a diner and that includes the greasy part of the greasy spoon. However, that is exactly what I am looking for in a diner

I alway go to this diner when I have an NYU appointment, and it is always great. I mean I only really order the same thing, grilled cheddar w tomato on rye, but it's always perfect. Service is very good and fast. A real NYC Diner to keep in mind when you are in the East 30's.

A nice little diner with fair prices in a cozy neighborhood. Nothing fancy, no flashy service, just basic stuff here, but decent for the money. Lots of staff on hand despite it not being very busy.

Dropped in for breakfast. We chose this diner for the decent pricing. Pictured is the two eggs with homefries, toast, and bacon. It also came with a tea or coffee for $11.95. I ordered the tropical waffle for $16. It was very good, and the fruit on top was fresh. The bacon was an additional $7.95. They offer bottemless coffee and the server was very friendly.

I really like this diner! So comfy and the servers are so friendly. Usually. Today my server was a bit grumpy. I asked for a waffle with fruit and asked if it included bananas. The server said it comes with fruit OR bananas. Hmmm.. I always thought a banana was a fruit. Anyway I had them add a banana to the waffle because it just wasn’t complete without it. Yum! The photo was taken pre- banana.
