Very popular crowded restaurant during peak hours. There’s a bar and dining area, but very congested and loud. Reservation is must for peak time dining.
I have had mixed experience dining here. Even though we arrived bang on at our reserved time, we had to wait 20-25 minutes to get our table. Complementary bread was nice, menu has variety of appetizers and entrees.
We ordered lots of the appetizers. Scallops, octopus were really good, but short ribs and burrata were average. For entree I had far more expectation from the waygu streak. Even though it was tender and moist, I felt it lacked in seasoning. We liked the chocolate cake dessert.
The table service is excellent. But the kitchen takes their sweet time to prepare the dishes. So, expect to spend a decent time while dining here.
Family took us here and the food was amazing!! Everything flavor wise was on point I just wish portions were slightly bigger(not by much. The staff was friendly and on point always taking care of things!
Thank you everyone back of house and front for the impeccable, flavorful, and relaxing evening.
Drinks were on point as well 👍

Everything about this place screams luxury! The food, ambience, service- the staff is very down to earth! They treated us very well, we will be back again. The food was delicious and food quality shows! The chocolate cake and burrata were out of world! We had lamb pappardelle was cooked to perfection. We went there a bit early than our reservation time and they took us happily in! The place was packed. The staff asked us if we had any food restrictions even to serve the complementaries.
A lively and warm restaurant with some very unique plates. The octopus, corn soup, short rib/bone marrow pasta, and duck breast are highlights. The staff are very knowledgeable and welcoming. It is on the louder side, but its fine for 2 people. There are some great wines available by the glass, and the spirit free cocktails are tasty too. Comfortable seating.
Absolutely loved our meal here! Me and two friends shared two appetizers, two pasta dishes, a chicken entrée, a fish entrée, and two desserts and I'd say with the portion sizes that was an appropriate amount of food for three people. Loved every dish - the crisp on the roasted chicken was excellent, the cacio e pepe ravioli was so flavorful! The Valrhona chocolate cake paired with salted caramel gelato was divine! There was so much else I wanted to try so will definitely return here at some other juncture. Excellent service. My only complaint was that our table was a little small for three people but that's New York, I think...
Warmly greeted by wait staff and manager. Cozy outdoor seating. Food was fine and nicely presented. Pasta’s texture were perfect though the sauce was a bit too salty. Highly recommend the scallops and sashimi for appetizers.
From beginning to end, Scarpetta amazed us. From the hostess to walking out, it’s apparent this restaurant pays close attention to the finer details. The vibe here is more on the intimate end with dim lighting, dark furnishings and candles everywhere. Our server, Gent (?), was the perfect example of 5-star service. We never asked, but he always did. Everything pictured is delicious, but their short rib & bone marrow agnolotti is a must-try. Their bread basket was one of the better ones we’ve had. Their wagyu strip was great, but the agnolotti still outshines it. Many places will ask if you’re dining for a special occasion, but very few do something special with the diners’ information. Scarpetta brought out our dessert with “Happy Anniversary” hand-written without either one of us asking for it; little things like that are memorable and will keep people coming back. Dine here and you will not be disappointed.
Vey nice restaurant overall, got 8 pineapple crush its 25 dollars per glass spent 200 plus just for the drinks. It’s expensive! But the food us delicious and reasonable price. We had fun!
Food was fantastic and well presented. Not a huge menu, but the options were good. Quality bread before mains as well.
Good drinks selection and the atmosphere was nice. High quality and modern venue, well decorated.
Wow, this place lived up to the great reviews! Came for lunch on a Saturday and it was a good low key vibe. Great bar and delicious cocktails and mocktails. Every single thing we ate was tremendous! We had the bread basket, salmon roll, short rib pasta, branzino and panecotta. Service was top notch—Indira was our server and she was amazing, she was attentive yet not intrusive and made great recommendations for the food, and ensured that we enjoyed the culinary experience by recommending how we can pair the food and layer it with the supplements. 10/10 highly recommend!
Authentic NYC experience, chic and bustling place with good Italian food. I think price is a bit higher, but it's Fifth Ave I guess.
The pasta was good but I think I had better Else where and the waygu steak was not as tender as it should given it's waygu.
But I still a very nice establishment and I do recommend you to check it out.
The food is good, but the portions are tiny for the price and the service is decent but not amazing. I’m not sure what I was expecting, but it’s a bit underwhelming for the price point in my opinion. It is beautiful inside tho, a nice atmosphere, very loud though so heads up there.
Octopus from appetizer and lobster pasta from entree are must try. Pizza is no brainer for vegetarian options.
Coming to desserts, espresso budino and tiramisu are must try.
100% one of the BEST restaurants in NYC.
Even though they over booked (and we waited for our table for 25+ minutes), we got a round of drinks, an appetizer and main dish on the house.
We enjoyed every bite! The food was amazingly perfect, and besides the the beginning with the table, the service was absolutely perfect.
Thank you for a wonderful night, great food, and amazing experience. I'll be back a 100%!
My mother and I are there during a mother daughter trip to New York, and we were not disappointed. We started with a bottle of wine that was recommended to us, which was very good, full-bodied, smooth and dry, which was exactly what we had requested.
My mother ordered the seared scallops as an appetizer, and then the spaghetti as a main, and both were spectacular.
I had the polenta with mushroom fricassee and then the angolotti, which were also incredible. I had to restrain myself from licking the plates.
We finished off the night with blueberry tart and one of the managers that had stopped to chat with us, surprised us with chocolate cake as well. The blueberry tart was delicious, and the lemon sorbet that came with it was nice and tart.
Normally, I do not like chocolate, but their cake was amazing. Moist, and not too sweet. But was really surprising, was how tasty the toffee sauce around the cake was. After looking at the menu after we left I realized it was a banana toffee sauce. I may dislike chocolate, but I hate bananas more than any other food, but this was delicious.
Overall, we had an incredible time, and the good was even better. Would definitely go back there again, the next time I'm in New York.
Fantastic restaurant! Thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor seating which was beautifully put together. It didn’t feel too close to the street. The bread was fresh and warm. The cauliflower was really tasty and the roasted carrots were full of flavour. My fellow diners also enjoyed their pasta dishes and mentioned that they were cooked perfectly. Service staff were friendly, conversational and efficient. Look forward to visiting again.
Exceptional experience all the way through. Our server knew the menu well and gave great drink and meal recommendations. It’s a beautiful restaurant, great ambience. The food was amazing, from their bread basket full of unique breads I haven’t seen in any other Italian restaurant. Their pastas are handmade in house and you can taste the quality. Highly recommended and will definitely return again
There is always a crowd here and I heard a lot of things about this place so was worried that there was some hype. However, I was impressed by the quality of the food.
We started with cocktails that were definitely on the sweeter side. The bread they give is really filling in itself. The portions are small so we did ask for another bread basket which they gladly refilled. Service was attentive considering the restaurant is so big. I didn’t care too much for the scallops or beet salad but the short rib agnolotti is a must get. So delicious. The cod was not bad as a lighter dish. I would definitely come back to try the other plates.
Went for a quick breakfast so might not be in the best position to make a review of the restaurant itself. That being said, the service was friendly, kind, and attentive. The food was decent, a unique breakfast, but was fairly enjoyable.
